Good project but died too regretfully
born at the time of famine, cannot exist
The project is not dead. But like most of the altcoin market, not a lot is going on right now. Hopefully things will start looking up again for the whole crypto scene in 2019 ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Born in the war do not know we have to live? or is dead
I'm not entirely sure what you just asked, but if you are asking if the project is still alive, very much so ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Currently approaching exchanges to discuss listings.

Hi!What wallet to load for solo mining?Windows gui wallet? can't debug console-Windows 10-64?
To solo mine in Windows, you need the Windows client binary (also known as the command line wallet), started with the RPC port open. There are instructions on the website for solo mining: https://ballzcoin.org/mining.htmlAnd to run the client binary in Windows: https://ballzcoin.org/wallet.htmlHope this answers your question, if I have misunderstood please let me know.

So, please tell me which exchanges are the current priorities of the Ballzcoin project. One more question, how about the plan of Ballzcoin to adjust a little bit in order to become ASIC-resistant in the future?
I won't be mentioning any exchange names until they have been contacted, and a decision made either way. This is partly because some exchanges have confidentiality requirements, and I do not want to jeopardise any potential listings by posting anything here that I shouldn't. Regarding ASIC resistance, I like the idea that a person with a single GPU can participate in the network and get a few coins, and that those who have invested in larger GPU mining rigs get a fair reward for their services in securing the network. As you may know, there is a proposal to implement ProgPOW in Ethereum, which in theory will provide ASIC resistance. If this happens and proves stable / no issues, I will update the Ballzcoin client to implement ProgPOW.

Over the next month, I will be approaching several exchanges to ask about a listing. The aim will be to find out:
- Which exchanges are willing to list Ballzcoin.
- Fees involved for each exchange.
- Whether any exchanges will list the coin without charging a fee (obviously this would be the ideal outcome!). As the source code is based on Ethereum, there should be no major technical challenges, so it will come down to individual exchange policies.
I do not expect this to be a quick process, and please don't take this to mean that a listing is going to happen soon! Where possible I will post the outcome of any discussions here, if I am allowed under the confidentiality rules of each exchange.

ballzcoin node connection error
I have now managed to replicate this error one one of my PC's, also reported above by Greygor. Can you please try the following fix on your PC and see if the wallet runs afterwards: 1. Close the wallet. 2. Check the file size for 'ballzcoin.exe' in the following folder: C:\Users\your.username\AppData\Roaming\Ballzcoin-Ballzbrowser-Wallet\binaries\ballzcoin\unpacked 3. If the file size is 0MB, delete the exe file (don't delete anything else!). 4. Download the Windows client binary in the announcement post, extract, and copy ballzcoin.exe to the folder to replace the deleted file. 5. Start the wallet. Does it work? If this solves the issue, I will investigate further before creating a permanent fix. Thx, it works for me ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Excellent, thanks for the feedback I have started writing a new GUI wallet from scratch, to provide an alternative to the existing wallets, which are based on Mist (the official Ethereum wallet). The new wallet will have some interesting features, which I will talk about more when the coding is a bit further ahead.

What are the global goals of the project?
The goals are listed on the website (some more light-hearted than others!), but probably the most important long term goal is the following: "Encourage and incentivize the development of DApps to run on the Ballzcoin network, with an emphasis on fun DApps, especially games. This will include providing resources to game developers to make it easier to incorporate Ballzcoin into the game code." This is an area where I think there is real potential for growth, and I have some ideas on how to achieve this with Ballzcoin, which will be implemented in due course.

Hi, has anyone used solo mining? tell me how much you can get, do you have an exchange, or what do you plan ?Thanks
Now is a good time to solo mine as the project is still very new, so you should get a good yield of coins ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Solo mining instructions are included in the first post, but please let me know if you have any issues or would like any help.

I see the Ballzcoin project is good but why the forum so few people comment. Is this project reliable?
Thanks for your interest in Ballzcoin. It is early days (the blockchain height is 153000) and promotion has not really started yet, so not many people know about the project.

Question. Where is the promised website, and so on?
Hi psihotoc, you have asked a valid question. The website design is in progress, and I had hoped to have it up by now. There is no point in making excuses or apologies, so all I will say is that I am targetting the 14th October to have the website up and running (just over a week from now).

I followed the dev but my wallet did not read the block
Here is another workaround if you get "Ballzcoin node connection error" when starting the GUI wallet (it seems to be a problem with some PC's and not others): 1. Run the client binary in console mode (see this post). 2. Wait for the client to sync and download the blockchain. 3. Run the GUI wallet. The wallet should load up. 4. After closing the GUI wallet, the correct way to exit the client is by typing 'exit' into the console.

after im read you first post im not clear to understand
what you project want to do health charities for men ball?
can you tell us more
There is a section on the charity aspect of the coin in the white paper: https://github.com/ballzcoin/whitepaperIn summary: - There are 10 account addresses embedded into the code that will start accumulating coins ~6 months after the launch date. The account private keys will be given to charities over the next 6 months. - Accounts will only be given to registered charities who are already established. New charities will not be created as part of the project. - Ballzcoin itself is not a charity. No charities have been selected yet, however once the website has been released (coming soon!), this process will begin.
