1  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market is not good on: July 21, 2021, 05:12:27 PM
The biggest pain point for Bitcoin due for delivery on July 23 is $32,000. The current Bitcoin price is $2,9582. In many community telegrams, everyone is in a negative state.

Is it still bearish when there is currently no good situation?

The market may not be good at the moment but it will never remain in the same state.
It won't  take long for the market sentiments to change from bearish to bullish.  Smiley

3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will become the most decentralized cryptocurrency? on: July 21, 2021, 03:58:57 PM
Since Bitcoin was created, the Bitcoin network has been operating normally, and neither the government nor the regulators can stop the development of Bitcoin. The reason why Bitcoin can become a valuable cryptocurrency is largely due to its anti-censorship characteristics through decentralization. Every blockchain that emerged afterwards also started with a high degree of centralization. Although its creators intend to improve this as soon as possible, unlike Bitcoin, it is difficult for most blockchains to make substantial progress in decentralization.
Bitcoin has the most nodes running in the world and there is no central authority to distribute it. Bitcoin the most decentralized cryptocurrency?

Bitcoin is already the most decentralized crypto currency. No other altcoin including Ethereum is truly decentralized.
That's the reason why no government is able to completely ban bitcoin.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go down below $20,000. on: July 21, 2021, 03:32:53 PM
Looks like what happened in 2018 is happening again this year, if it's the same scenario then we can expect a long bear run for the market. Bitcoin dropping below $30k creates panic, altcoins are dumping as well so what can we expect that bitcoin has already fallen below $30k now?

Will we see the same scenario in 2018 or it will be different this time?

This time will be different because despite being bearish, the on-chain analysis are still bullish. Bitcoin will not go to as low as 20,000$. We can expect 50,000$ before it reaches 20K.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of America Approves Bitcoin Futures on: July 21, 2021, 03:15:58 PM
This is a big news, a banking institution accepting bitcoin is one big move for the market and I am anticipating a really big influx to the market in the next few months because it's banks that are involved in this news and they can be pretty influential.

These days news do not have much positive impact on bitcoin as price of bitcoin keeps on supressing. However today we have seen some nice movement in the market because of the Elon Musk debate today.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 20, 2021, 07:08:45 PM
In the third and final T20 match between Pakistan and England, Pakistan won the toss and was elected to bat. Mohammad Rizwan has been playing very aggressively since the beginning of the match. Pakistan scored 56 runs in 7 overs. But they have lost their important batsmen Babar Azam. Mohammad Rizwan is unbeaten on 30 runs at the crease.

Pakistan only managed to score 154 runs in their 20 overs. Rizwan scored 74 and held the innings together but are these run enough ?
I don't think so as we have seen 200+ runs in the previous two matches.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: July 20, 2021, 07:02:39 PM
As long as there is a greed in the people. the scammers will exploit it and make people poor.  We need to understand and use common sense when participating in these giveaways.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's causing the decline this time? on: July 20, 2021, 06:41:55 PM
Can't see anything particular in the news, or is there? EM? China? Anything I'm missing?

Do you we always need the news to pump or dump the market. I think bitcoin went up to 60,000K way too quickly and its needs a healthy correction and that's what we are witnessing right now.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's price, and mental health. on: July 20, 2021, 05:47:24 PM
Of course, the probability of suddenly getting rich, catching luck, participating in trade, or investing in a project becomes less than it was 5 years ago or more. Nevertheless, the cryptocurrency market is still a chance for those who do not have sufficient resources, and even knowledge. When investing in cryptocurrencies, a lot of things are decided by the general outlook of a person, his philosophical and practical outlook and intuition. In this case, even an amateur in trade, may be the winner by correctly identifying a promising project. Bitcoin in this sense, gives less chances, it is becoming more academic in terms of trade and conservative in terms of technical capabilities. Mental problems, in my opinion, are the lot of professionals and overwork. Here I agree with one of the speakers. Adventurers, as a rule, easily accept both victories and defeats.
I am absolutely sure that the vast majority of newcomers, and even without knowledge, will only lose the deposit.
The only option when you can earn money on the crypt is to make shitcoin Grin, and throw it on some exchange, merge coins, and go with the money into the sunset.

This is not going to work either  Smiley
The only way to make money in crypto is to learn about it. You can hold or you can trade but before that you need to have sufficient knowledge. Without knowledge you will end up losing money.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining vs Holding on: July 20, 2021, 05:31:38 PM
I have developed a project
https://github.com/peroksid90/crypto_calculator

to compare mining vs holding. Contributions and comments are welcome.

For example,
you have 2500 $.
You can buy a miner or just invest this money to BTC.
Which is better in the long run?

So at the end we see:

the worst case: do mining and sell mined profit every day (red line) (7300$)
the better: just buy and hold (olive line) (8200 $)
the best: do mining and don't sell. (magenta)  (12500 $)

magenta and red doesn't include the miner market price. So actually we should add it to the profit, because the equipment price is also rise(even used).

Mining is a difficult process as compare to the investments. In mining you have to bought the equipment and also bear the cost of electricity. In investment you only have to invest and hold. You can choose mining is you have large capital.

Hope he/she is not trying to make use of exchanges for the payment?
If that's the case, I'd be willing to make the payment for the new user in exchange for a common altcoin (say Litecoin). Feel free to send me a PM about this.

I'll convey this message. Thanks for the help.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC exist without Fiat? on: July 20, 2021, 01:38:42 PM
Yes it can exist but the problem is that it will have the same role as fiat meaning that it will become stable and somewhat centralized. Plus, bitcoin wouldn't be an asset anymore because it finally turned to be a currency.

Bitcoin was originally created as a currency but we are treating it as a asset or commodity.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market is not good on: July 20, 2021, 01:25:55 PM

When everyone thinks that market is bearish and not good, at that point we shall see the pump in the market.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will people who ban Bitcoin in some countries give up Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2021, 01:10:48 PM
I believe that there are chances people of that country is either given a time bracket during which they are expected to sell off their coins and get rid of crypto asap, or they may try to boycott their government or maybe try to find a way through which they can continue their trading in crypto in a hidden way.

For sure, people can't continue mining and other stuff but they can still trade anonymously and keep the funds in exchanges or decentralized wallets etc.
16  Other / Meta / Enable posting by paying fee on: July 18, 2021, 10:04:49 AM
I would like to bring your attention to a matter where when you create a new account, you are asked to pay certain fee in order to start posting. One of my relative created the account and faced this evil ip case (although he never created account before).
The problem is that he is willing to pay the fee too but the amount of fee is too low and bitcoin transaction fee when added to it, it becomes much more amount than the actual fee.
Is there any way he can pay the fee in any other altcoin where tx fee is not greater than the amount itself or suggestions on how to pay fee effectively ?
17  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk doesn't get enough recognition for its contribution to crypto on: July 18, 2021, 08:00:00 AM
I think Bitcointalk forum doesn’t get nearly enough credit for its contribution to crypto adoption.
Firstly, Bitcointalk.org was created by Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder of Bitcoin. This factor alone gives the forum an edge over other communities. Research on the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto will forever be reference to the forum. Satoshi's last message is found on the forum and I believe that could be an Nft in the future as well as his other posts here. Yes I said it! I won't be surprised to find a compilation of Satoshi's threads being sold as nft.
Also this was the first ever Bitcoin forum on the internet. If this was human history we would be the first men. The first transaction was done right here on the forum, Laszlo Hanyecz spent 10,000 BTC at Papa John’s pizza for the purchase of two pizzas. This transaction is more famous than the forum itself. May 22 became world Bitcoin pizza day, celebrated in crypto communities. On blogs and article they refer to the forum as "the bitcoin community", I suspect this is part reason why there the forum is not very popular.
I’m not saying the forum is perfect and cannot be improved or anything but I think we  deserve a lot more credit for contribution to the crypto space. All this could be used to attract more users to the platform.

That is the fact that everyone who knows about bitcoin does not know about the bitcointalk forum. There so many people investing and trading but sadly they have no idea about this forum. There could be number of reasons for that but the main reason could be that bitcointalk is not been declared the official forum of bitcoin.

But still the stats show that there is a lot of engagement for bitcointalk although the number of visitors per month are lesser as compare to the first quarter 2020.
