1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Sad Story With Ethereum! on: December 30, 2018, 08:00:56 PM
I have joined in this form in November 2017! Before that, I did not know about Ethereum but I had a group for buy - Sell bitcoin! When my elder brother told about Ethereum and he ordered me to keep an eye on coinmarketcap always! That time Ethereum price was 330 USD and after few days, it went to 290 USD and the ln the bull market was started! But after almost one year, I have to see Ethereum price at 170 USD! I am feeling too much bad. What about you guys?
It always state in the beginning of this platform as a beginner to always invest what you are sure you will be able to lose because it always dengerious to invest all your fund in cryptocurrency, so this should not be a discouragement to you, because him who never take risk is automatically taking the highest risk.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized System Disadvantages on: December 30, 2018, 07:16:04 PM
We know the advantages of decentralized however what are the disadvantages of the Decentralized system that we should take note of while using this technology?

It always vase-vasa what every is good most have negative or bad part, decentralized world is always know to have the highest risk compare to centralized world were every thing is been done face to face. Because in decentralized world or network the transactions is mainly done using internet and block transaction is always know to be undo able which is the main disadvantage when mistake is done.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government do not want bitcoin to be legal? on: December 30, 2018, 06:49:30 PM
It every difficult to Legalized cryptocurrency by government because they think it not legit since they are unable to regulate it, and secondly because they know they can control it if they should legalized it.

If Bitcoins were introduced in banks, there'd be probably a different protocol made by banks if I'm correct? What would it be like?
You are some how right, but it will be a every difficult task to accomplished because they have difference operation mood decentralized and centralized so in other to this there will be a need to publish paper bitcoin for bank transaction purpose.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's stop comparing Bitcoin to Ethereum or any other Cryptos on: December 29, 2018, 08:11:22 PM
Been that bitcoin is the first crypto currency coin in blockchain technology it drown the attention of people that it not performing it duty with bring on comparison between other Altcoin like ETH but the plain truth is the the comparison between them should have limits because they are off different functions.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Central Banks? on: December 29, 2018, 08:02:44 PM
There are two way about it, it always necessary to have a go thought before conclusion. To you and I we meant think we don't need central bank because we are using bitcoin which is operating in a decentralized platform, what about the rest citizens that doesn't know how to use bitcoin or any crypto currency, what will happen to our fiat currencies as well.
To me I think there is for central bank if not for and you but for the common man who don't his to use bitcoin.
7  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Payment method on: December 29, 2018, 07:53:08 PM
To start with, I’am owner of a small coffee shop and the business goes well now, because we caught the wave in the right time several years ago. Now, ofc crypto will be on the peak, but I’am afraid not in my country yet. We are planning start-up (fast food) and want to stand up from the crowd by adding crypto as a payment method. Who have an experience/ knowledge of such integration, help me please with the process  step by step?

I think it will be a nice to add crypto to payment method to your project my question is who did you intend to manage the traffic, because if you want to you bitcoin it will some extra mall is you will have to educate your customers and citizen on how to use bitcoin transaction or have a customer care that will be assisting then.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bitcoin Millionaire arrested on: December 28, 2018, 01:13:24 PM
Anyone read this? I just read this in an advertisement that popped out of nowhere.

https://www.ccn.com/hong-kong-bitcoin-millionaire-arrested-after-throwing-cash-off-apartment-building/?utm_source=CCN&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=dd

Maybe he is a member of this forum too and I am a bit curious what really happened there that pushed him to do that, they say that it is an advertisement, well, in his own way of advertising.
I think he was just over ruled by money or maybe he got drunk at that moment, giving money out to the poor is not a bad idea, what is wrong there is abusing the currency by thronging it off into the  street. So it always good not to get rule by the spirit of money to avoid getting in trouble.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using bitcoin without internet on: December 28, 2018, 12:58:24 PM
Blockstream Satellite Now Means Most Of The World Can Use Bitcoin Without Internet. What's your opinion on this one? Do you see it as progress or not? Huh
This is really technology improvement for bitcoin as it well be more easy for people how are interested in getting involve but they are backing off because they do have access to internet, so with this every interested people use it without the consumption of internet this is really technology improvement to cryptocurrency.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in a card? on: November 14, 2018, 04:24:21 PM
Hello there,

It's not long that I get to know about crypto currency. At first, I heard the name "Bitcoin" before I get the idea of crypto currency. It's been growing ever since it's born. Now there's lot of crypto currencies around the world.
Well, what I want is a master card or something similar to it, which I can use to maintain my online money. I’m not sure if it’s possible cause debit cards or credit cards or master cards or visa cards…. Every single one of them are sealed with my name on it. I mean these cards always carry its user identity. But I don’t want my identity with my online money. That’s the whole point of crypto currency right?

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/butler-live-cryptocurrency-card-for-btc-eth-ltc-money-cards#/

This card could be my solution but would you trust it? Kind of like it already since I don’t have to open my computer everytime I want to keep me posted about my online money.

Am missing something here which i will like to understand, can the card be used for transactions like sending, withdrawing and sending? because I have heard meaning information about card/ATM but have not really get the information on how it works.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hello crypto! Bye bye credits? on: November 14, 2018, 04:09:25 PM
crypto loan will be help to some individual to set there present situation of live, the problem remain who will agree to give it bitcoin out as loan because one price is not stable it can change within a second then automatically one side most run lost either the loaner or the loanee, and secondly before this that happen a body need to be set up to take in charge of refunding if not many will run away with loan.
this will be a every difficult task to setup.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop calling Bitcoin ''stable'' it's not. on: November 14, 2018, 03:59:16 PM
With the current 6k$ base price of bitcion you can say it stable, but don't classify bitcoin as a stable coin they are high tendency the bitcoin will move away from static position sooner because in cryptocurrency we have experience this time without number. so bitcoin will raised again as usual.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does the government hate bitcoin? on: November 12, 2018, 06:37:10 PM
I think the main reason why bitcoin is being attacked or hate by government is because is decentralized, main while it cannot bein control by them and secondly because bitcoin has not been able to be regulate so they see it as illegitimate currency. So I don't really called it hatred but just trying to assigned to which and every one involve in it that is not fully backup by them.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will PayPal start accepting bitcoin? on: November 12, 2018, 06:26:44 PM
Sure, paypal is the big kid on the block right now, but who's to say they won't start accepting bitcoin as one of many international currencies?

(Edit: I just added "after 5 years" and "never" as additional poll choices.)
I guess PayPal will only accept bitcoin when cryptocurrency is fully legalized or approved by government because PayPal still look at bitcoin as illegal currency and secondly PayPal operate in a centralized platform why bitcoin is in decentralized platform it will really take a long time before this can happen.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: REAL WORLD PROBLEMS AND BITCOIN on: November 12, 2018, 06:19:46 PM
Bitcoin or cryptocurrency has really made life easy in the aspect of online payment and secondly bitcoin transactions perfect with the elimination of middle man. Bitcoin and crypto has created employ of many individuals who country accept crypto without the of writing application letter sicking for job
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS HOLDING TRULY THE SOLUTION TO DROP OF BTC PRICE? on: November 12, 2018, 06:04:57 PM
I mostly see a lot of post skirting about the issue of decrease in bitcoin market price by saying hodl, hodl of which i mostly do not get them. Assuming we all decide to hodl without any transaction that means with time btc will drain and what will be the essence of the coin. We should always be a family to embrace the state of price no matter what and ensure buying and selling in order to at least have a significant effect on market price. I hodl, you hodl and we all hodl and btc will drain just like that.
You have point here, I don't think selling of bitcoin is the reason why bitcoin price is down rather I will say people are trying to manipulate bbitcoin so they can get in or buy more. Take a good look at 2017 do people nnot sell bitcoin but that don't not hold the price not to raise, so holding of bitcoin is not the solution to bitcoin price raise.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: November 11, 2018, 09:15:30 PM
They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
I don't really know about the specific price they take for raging but I know the collecte fee for rating ico and I have participate in an ico where icosite rate high and they end up to be scam, so I don't tink icosite is the best way to know the legelity for a project.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain is not private on: November 11, 2018, 09:08:52 PM
By bulding your platform on hyperledger i guest it will be secure and private, because Hyperledger is a permission-ed Blockchain which can be deployed as an enterprise private network.
