3  Economy / Scam Accusations / A telegram group for people scammed by Bitebtc.com on: March 25, 2019, 12:26:28 PM
Hello,
I've recently been scammed by bitebtc.com where they disabled my account with balance in it, after some reading online I've noticed its a common practice by the exchange, so I decided to create a telegram group where all the victims can gather to fight back together. Hopefully we can find a way to get our funds back.

Telegram Group: https://t.me/scammedbyBitebtc

Please join the group so we can make an impact together

Regards

5  Economy / Scam Accusations / BiteBTC.com disabled my account for no reason on: March 25, 2019, 12:48:37 AM
Hello,
Yesterday I noticed a good arbitrage opportunity on Bitebtc.com and decided to take advantage of it. after checking with coinmarketcap it seemed like a good exchange with good volume, so I created an account on the exchange and checked that the wallets were active and checked their withdrawal policy. All seemed fine so far, it seemed like i needed to verify my account by submitting identity information and proof of address, which I did and I received an email that my acount was verified and I was ready to go.

Then I bought some FET on binance (1.47 BTC worth) and sent to my Bitebtc address, the amount was received on Bitebtc and I was able to sell with the intended price. Now I was ready to withdraw BTC back to binance to continue my trading routine, but the withdrawals page said it might take up to 24 hours to be manually processed to prevent theft.

So I waited 24 hours, as they might be legit checking my transaction, then i checked again but my transaction status was still "created" so i contacted support and they sent me the following Email:

A few hours later I receive an email saying that my account has violated the terms of service and was disabled:

Is there anything I can do about the current situation, or is my money gone?

Regards
