The usual checklist you should include is checking the whitepaper first if the idea is fundable, scalable, and is really needed to be made in a decentralized way. Next thing you must check is the team behind the project. Determine if they have already a good experience in the industry because they will play a great role in the project's success.

Yes it still can be profitable if you'd take time to do your research first before investing in one. There are a lot of scam ICOs emerging these days so we must always be careful on who to trust.

I agree with this. Some projects have great potential also. You just need to do your own deep research before you do some investing. Scam ICOs just take the opportunity to trick new investors into participating to their project so all must be always cautious.

Those traits include having a team with good public track record and great experience in the industry. It is also important that you read the whitepaper and see that what they're proposing is indeed feasible.

It would depend on your research because ICO investments can be really profitable too if chosen right. What you'll need to check is if the team behind is credible and has a good public track record as they will play a great role in the success of the ICO.

One way you can evaluate an ICO project is by reading their whitepaper, checking the team behind it and it would be so much better if they can show you a minimum viable product. It's important that the team behind it has a good public track record and highly experienced as they will play an important role in managing the project.

I don't think so. I can say that ICOs are here to stay. This will be the time that only the most promising projects will stand out. You'll just need to determine which ones are serious in reaching their goals

Everyone should be selective on where they should participate. Investing in ICO is quite risky these days because many scam ICOs are emerging. What you can do is make sure that you've already done your thorough research about the project. Check their whitepaper, their goals, the problems they aim to solve, the team behind if they have a public track record, and if they can show you a minimum viable product. There are still many that you can do to check if it is promising so it all comes down to your research.

Who is on the team, what are their backgrounds & credentials, and do they have any public track records?
Yes they do have public track records. We'll be releasing more information about the team in no time.

I don't see any "Team" section with linkedin links on your web-site. If your project is serious one, then hire somebody and create high quality ANN Topic - it will attract attention of possible investors.
Thanks for giving your feedback. We'll take note of this. As of the team, Stream41 was developed by White Code Labs, a California-based software innovation firm. Pretty soon, we'll be releasing more info about the team so stay tuned! I think that this information does not mean anything here. You need give more details not only about the company and how long it works / how successful it is, but also about the team. And then it turns out that we are collecting money for an idea, but we don’t understand who collect by names. So things are not done in this market. Further information about the project is in the works and will be released the soonest now. Thanks for your input and stay tuned for more updates!
