is it ok to change the local wallet address to a coins-e address?

my miner's been going for 10 hours and looks like I only made 0.0126 MAX, is that normal.

i'm using digital ocean and cpuminer with putty.exe, getting average 900 khash/s

but my wallet.dat file in (maxcoin qt) opens with vlc media player, can't be right. What do I change it to?

I managed to get my wallet qt synchronized at last , but then get this error,

"can't open database file wallet.dat" any ideas?

but now I clicked on maxcoind.exe, and loaded the wallet and now it says:

reindexing blocks on disc,   2 days behind.

I think it sounds positive, just have to wait and see, thanks

just can't seem to get the wallet synchronized.
It says "no block source available"

I hope this list helps someone, I can't seem to get any to work because I'm new to this.
 I've tried each one using Maxcoin-QT-miner and get this error:

"miner started, 99 miner threads started, using keccack algorithm,

http request failed, couldn't resolve host stratum+tcp,  couldn't connect please check pool server and port"

 

your help will be rewarded.

I would love to buy some maxcoins too, but four or five forums have many clients talking about how they've been ripped off, can't get their money out, or their money disappears, and no help from support.
If I type in google "coins-e and scam" there are so many pages, blogs, forums, who are against coins-e.

Is there an alternative? Does Max Keiser know about this?
