1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Mem Tweak XL - Read/modify timings/pp/straps on the fly on: November 08, 2020, 06:53:01 PM
Why is it that when I extract the source code, there's nothing there except the README file?  I would like to run this in Linux.

Nevermind.  I figured it out.

V1.6.8 running great on one computer, but cannot initialize GPU's on the other.  Log says Error CL_BUILD_PROGRAM_FAILURE when calling clBuildProgram [ctx->Program] for DeviceID 0 (Thread 0).  I've done everything I can think to make certain the Config file has the correct syntax, to include changes like the post directly above.  What else can cause this problem?  V1.6.7 runs fine on same computer.

Solution found if anyone is interested:  Can't use build 1803.  Roll it back or reinstall.

ViWe,
Thanks for the response.  The problem, interestingly, was bad timings on one of the video cards.  Surprised me because it was generating good numbers, no errors, no bad shares.  Everything working find now.

The miner runs great, but I have one serious problem.  When I close the miner (CTRL-C), it crashes the system (Win10) hard, and I have to manually reboot twice to get things going again.  The same thing happens if I close the window.  Do you think this is a configuration problem or a wonky hardware issue?  Any help is greatly appreciated.
