Thanks Kano, I figured it out if anyone has this issue; SSHd into each S9 and deleted the MAC file in config and did a reboot.  On reboot each unit was assigned a unique MAC and I'm now in business hashing at full potential.

Update to this, i just checked my network again and these 7 machines also all have the same MAC address... i think this is a network issue.  Any feedback on how I can change the MAC address on each unit?

Hey guys, still trying to work out why my share rate and hash rate are so much lower on 7 of my machines, and I'm not sure if its a coincidence but on these same 7 machines my share difficulty is constant at 4.098k.   Also to give some background, I had to give these same 7 machines a static IP because they kept being assigned the same IP address on the network and it was causing confusion/disruption.  Perhaps that has something to do with it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My machines were delivered direct from bitmain in August 2018, i havent updated any firmware myself.  Also since they were running the published 14TH prior to adding the additional machines I'd say this isnt firmware.  Literally all I've done is plug more machines in, could it due to internet bandwidth?  I'm in Canada and running them on an LTE cell phone network, I'm up north and dont have access to Fibre.

Hey guys, after some challenges finally got my 15 S9s up and running but I've noticed my hashrates on the machines have dropped quite a bit.  For instance when I was running 4 machines each machine would clock in consistently at 13.5-15th/s but now my machines drop as low as 8th/s and run between 10th and 13th.  All conditions staying the same is there any reasoning why having more workers could reduce the THs?  My miners are all running at a temp of 68-72 degrees and the air is a low 23% humidity.  I'm just breaking 200 T/Hs but I was hoping to be more in the 220s.  Any feedback is appreciated.
7  Bitcoin / Mining support / Question about ambient temp with 15 x S9s on: October 10, 2018, 01:46:36 AM
I'm very new to the mining scene, ran 1 S9 in my 100sq/ft "server" room at my office for about a week got excited and bought 14 more.  My "server" room has the circuitry for the 220v connections as well as the bandwidth, what I underestimated is the heat.  1 S9 made no difference to the ambient temp, but I plugged in 5 today and wow the temp skyrocketed.  After 4 hours my chips had operating temps averaging 77 degrees but I'd say room ambient temp was around 30 degrees.  Tomorrow I plan to start up the other 10 units for the total of 15 running simultaneously.  I imagine the room temp will skyrocket to over 40 degrees.  The room has a medium sized A/C unit but other than that there is no ventilation whatsoever.  I'm getting the feeling that I've bitten off more than i can chew, will this be a problem or can these units survive in these temps?  Luckily I can easily make modification to the room and one of the walls goes directly to the outside so adding an exhaust fan is possible, I'd just rather not cut a hole in my building...

Hello fellow miners, just thought I would quickly share; 2 weeks ago I had no idea what bitcoin mining even was but I received an S9i Antminer through a business deal.  Did some quick research, found you guys and plugged that baby in.  Since then this entire bitcoin phenomenon has enthralled me, and this weekend I got a hold of another 14 S9s.  As of today 5 are live and pointed her at Kano, tomorrow my other 10 will be plugged in and also pointed here.  I'm excited for this new hobby and hopeful to continue adding machines.  I'd just like to thank this forum as it's provided me with a lot of helpful information.  Excited to be mining here at Kano and I should have a full 200 + THs here by tomorrow evening.

Received the payout in my wallet this morning, thank you for the feedback.  Looking forward to continued mining on Kano.

Hey Guys!  I just joined the mining scene and joined your pool, I have 5 S9's with more on the way.  While I'm waiting for my 220V circuits to be setup I have 1 S9 pointed here on a 110V.  My question is, when are payouts paid? I was connected during the last 2 found blocks and my payout on the first was a miniscule 0.00006859 and the second 0.0002497, I know this is very small but just curious how it works.

Thanks,
