You can mine coins with a Raspberry pi 3. But keep in mind that the profit may not be great as the cost of electricity can be high. Raspberry Pi 3 (32 GB Edition) can cost you $80.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vertical Blockchain or Horizontal Blockchain? on: October 28, 2018, 02:53:34 AM
Both of the blockchains are used for different purpose. Different people care about projects with different characteristics. Though horizontal blockchain has a bit upper hand than vertical blockchain.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Companies aren't responsible for innovation, consumers are on: October 27, 2018, 06:23:43 AM
I guess it works both ways. If the consumers didn't need it then why would the companies innovate new technologies. And sometimes the innovators invent something we didn't even know we needed.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN PROVIDE SOLUTIONS THIS Time? on: October 27, 2018, 06:11:03 AM
Crisis is a part of the economy which can create new opporunities for other potential alternative investments. Stock market crash can be a good news for crypto market. As there will be new potential investors being attracted to crypto.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Litecoin Become a Targeted Coin After Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2018, 05:47:28 AM
Litecoin is a good coin and it certainly has the potential to be the alternative of bitcoin. Its currently just behind ETH in the price list. Who knows maybe one day it will even surpass bitcoin.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency vs civic/complementary currency on: October 26, 2018, 03:27:00 AM
Well, stardex is just the electrical fiat coin, kinda like the copy of bitcoin. But it isn't anything like crypto. Stardex is interest free, but you still need to push while transacting or exchanging. But bitcoin doesn't need any of these. Bitcoin is decentralised, tax free and global.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Related Crimes Surge on: October 26, 2018, 03:17:20 AM
As a decentralized currency, Bitcoin is getting more popular among the general people in the world. Criminals always had used money to do their job. Now, they are using Bitcoin. If you look at it from that way, it isnothing new. Bitcoin is not be blamed for this.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thought of Satoshi Nakamoto- Agreed?? on: October 24, 2018, 02:18:12 AM
You can explain what bitcoin really is and what potential it holds for the future. But you really can not convince anyone who does not believe in it. It is totally normal as not everyone sees the bigger picture.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Bullrun will start? on: October 24, 2018, 01:53:07 AM
Well, the bullrun happened last year, so it might repeat again this year too. But it's just assumption and prediction, the bullrun might not happen for even in the next year or two, cause it's volatile and unpredictable. But the whole business thing is in prediction and risk, so it might happen too.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are people's thoughts on Bakkt? on: October 24, 2018, 01:24:20 AM
Bakkt has shown a lot of promises and it has a lot of potential. If it manages to gain the green signal, it will be great news for the cryto world. But, a lot is standing on the ifs and when, so it is till early to hope so much. We can only wait and watch for now.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Investor Sentiment on the Cryptocurrency market on: October 20, 2018, 03:07:45 AM
I think the overall sense of optimism and pessimism drives a investor's sentiment. Any positive prediction or good news will have a huge impact on a person optimistic about crypto's future. And quiet the opposite for a pessimist person.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which blogs about ICO and ICO Marketing do you read? on: October 20, 2018, 02:45:31 AM
There are some sites about ICO, but not all of them are reliable. I think ICOBazaar crypto blog is the most reliable. ICO Alert Blog, Foundico, ICObench are good as well.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an institution that protects the circulation of Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2018, 02:12:21 AM
Crypto currency is decentralized. So there is no organization or institution or Government to be in charge of it. If there were some oversight institution that would defeat the purpose of it being centralized.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the end of the Bitcoin?? on: October 17, 2018, 03:37:39 AM
The crypto market is highly volatile and the rise and fall of the prices of Bitcoin is normal. Though it is unusual for the Bitcoin to go this low and syay there for this long period of time, it is not the end of Bitcoin. A stable coin like Bitcoin is bound to rise again. But, when it will rise again is the important question.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Regulation Does not take away the concept of Decentralization on: October 15, 2018, 03:08:12 AM
Its true that the number of scams are increasing. But mere regulations is not enough to get rid of the scams completely. Also regulations can defeat the purpose of cryptocurrency.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and privacy!!! on: October 10, 2018, 01:38:35 AM
It serves a purpose otherwise any scammer can get away without being tracked. You can utilize mixing services. I think it will remain like that even in the future.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Efficient Mining on: October 10, 2018, 01:31:26 AM

19  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin confirmation times on: October 10, 2018, 01:18:32 AM
The confirmation times from time to time depend on luck, if the services are busy obviously it'll take longer and won't happen immediately and also depending on what service you're using will also count into if the transaction times will be long or short.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to prevent selling your bitcoin prematurely, use this strategy on: October 07, 2018, 07:32:11 AM
Perhaps you are right. But, there are some problems like the additional cash you are earning from airdrop and signature doe snot look like an investment, and the investments on Altcoin can turn out to be a reason of a huge loss since they are highly unstable.
