Cryptocurrency surely can make a difference in this kind of situation. And the way reformation of economy and governments are happening globally a crisis may happen.

You never know what will happen when its related to bitcoin. The market is highly volatile and a small hype can create a big storm. But recently it has somehow stabilized around 6500$.

It is a sad news to see that Maldives is not embracing cryptocurrency. It is a great technology and in the future it will co-exist with fiat currency, so embracing now rather than later will definitely help them.

ICO's are surely not dead although it had a rough time this year, it is just maturing. It needs some time and some other security upgrades which can assure investors of not scamming to fully mature.

Ripple XRP might be the one that ticks all the points in this case. At the moment it has good POS and DPOS.

Although this primarily seems a good idea but im not sure what kind of community you want to build. Whether it's a physical or a virtual one, it needs different type of approach. Then your country plays a big role on it. Also the goal of the group should be addressed beforehand and thus planning should be laid out accordingly.

Every coin has its own features. Each are used in their unique projects. These projects are for different purposes, so we need many cryptocurrencies.

I think big companies are monitoring the situation as to the stability of crypto market. Perhaps this market is still immature to them. when big companies like AliExpress, IBM, Amazon etc. will start investing on crypto, this thing will go miles.

I don't think this is possible. If you happen to clone a coin, that becomes another new coin. Also, 51% attack, albeit sounding cheesy, is really hard to pull off because of the hash powers combined.

The main reason would be to earn money. Cryptocurrency has so much potential and earning has never been so easy. Also it's very user friendly that's why people are eager to try it.
