3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 05, 2020, 03:49:04 PM
^^ Sad to see only one cricketer made into this list. IMHO It shows that where cricket stands in comparison of other sports and clearly begging for more exposure in other parts of the world too, not just Subcontinent.
This has been the case almost always and will probably stay this way in the future. Very few Cricketers tend to end up in these lists since their payments are usually in currencies like INR etc which pale in comparison to USD, Pounds etc.

First world currencies will always Trump 3rd world currencies any day. Sports starts in 1st world countries can live comfortably in 3rd world countries with probably an year worth of earnings.

I think it says more for the ludacris salaries they get in the NBA, NFL etc. I mean a average NBA player like Matthew Dellavedova gets paid $10 million USD a year, pretty hard to compete with that lol.

^ I tried to watch BBL couple of times but got bored quickly due to absence of premier players from the Oz squad, No Starc, no Warner, no Smith, no Patty and on some occasion no Maxi... nah sorry BBL.

Fair enough, I like it because it's on during the Xmas period when there is absolutely nothing else on tv. As long as you treat it for what it is haha.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 05, 2020, 03:38:24 PM
I am surprised that there are so many votes for Clippers. Kawhi is not all-powerful.

I believe that most likely the Lakers will become champions, if not they, then Milwaukee Bucks. imo

Agreed, although LeBron can't do it by himself, he will need Davis to step up.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Holyfield Charity Fight on: June 04, 2020, 11:17:31 AM
Neither should be fighting imo. Both are old AF! Sad seeing old past it fighters still fighting.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: June 04, 2020, 11:01:58 AM
Never had any luck with air drops just found them to be a massive waste of time or maybe I'm just unlucky  Roll Eyes more worthwhile investing with a diverse portfolio in alts imo.

Lol no way! We managed to get out of this thing OK. We are not risking opening our borders for a long time!  Cheesy

May get an unexpected series between AU/NZ tho!
This is the same reason Australia might not be interested to risk the country opening the boarders to conduct the T20 World Cup and hence wanted to move that next year, but they can carry on with the tournament with safety measures by testing every players landing in their soil.

If Australia and New Zealand plays then it would be cool as i would love to watch cricket coming back.

~
Kiwis are too nice to deny any request from the ICC anyway  Tongue. I am hoping that BlackCap Master - Williamson- has some say in it?
The New Zealand cricket board is cutting the work force and they would not mind some money now  Cheesy.

Interested to see what happens to this years big bash. Would suck big time without crowds and no overseas players.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: June 04, 2020, 10:47:01 AM
Ridiculous that people selling scripts is still a thing! Bustabit always gets you in the end, haha!

I mean there are scripts which will give you profit short term... Its just you need a big bankroll, to substain variance.
Just dont let it run unattended.  Grin

Haha yep! Few years ago thought I had a strategy that accounted for variance -$200 later haha. Was a costly lesson!  Grin
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: June 04, 2020, 10:42:40 AM
Is this fight still going ahead? Just six weeks away, don't see them turning down the $ from a live gate.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 04, 2020, 10:36:22 AM
I don't see any specific reason in article. Is it because of pandemic or what?
Shimron Hetmyer Darren Bravo and Keemo Paul declined to tour England because of the number of corona cases and the number of people died and i can understand why they care about their health than playing the game. I do not think they can be back in the team as they will not be part of the preparation and without going through training i do not think they will be selected even if they want to return for the tour at a later time.
Nothing against their decision as it their choice but i would like to see what happens if by any chance (0.01%) WC or IPL gets a green light and the very same players taking U turn.  Tongue

OMG, West Indies cricket is such a mess! This is just politics between the players and the board with Corona being used as an excuse! Such a shame cos WI would be a pretty decent outfit if they could sort it out.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: June 04, 2020, 10:29:26 AM
Fees are still high.  I don’t think bitcoin is only for early miners who have a lot of bitcoins, and for rich people’s who have a lot of money they both can pay as High fees he wants. We have to focus on whole users wich don’t have *million of bitcoins and can’t handle such a high fees.

I still use 1 sat/B, and it still works. Takes a while, but who is in a hurry? Its not like i'm in a shop waiting for a coffee to be served or something...

You don't need to be a "millionaire" you just need to use a decent wallet that lets you input a manual transaction fee. Bitcoin works fine, you just have to use it properly, most people are misled by the wallets, well don't let them decide whats a good fee and what isn't, they are wrong. The network doesn't matter unless you are in an absolute hurry, and in most cases, you don't.

Just send at the cheapest fee and relax. Check back tomorrow or the day after that, it'll eventually confirm, it always does.

Guess I was unlucky with my transaction then. I've sent about 50, 1sat/B always went through within a few hours except this one time after halving. While I agree with you it's pretty inconvenient for someone having to wait several days to get their bits. Certainly made me look at wallets like Electrum to give me greater control of my transactions and check with sites like bitcoinfees to make sure I know the appropriate fees before sending.

Am I the only one thinking LeBron's gonna come out firing when play resumes? He hasn't really had a considerable break in 17 years, the breaks probably done him the world of good.

What do you mean by that?
I am sorry, I am kind of having a hard time to understand your statement.

Pretty sure he meant Lebron will still be on fire when the NBA resumes, base on his second sentence.
I also though about "firing" someone like coaches, staff, and back office  Cheesy.

Anyway, Lebron will still be Lebron, still dedicated and passionate about basketball. As you see, some players didn't stop working out despite of the home quarantine. While, others enjoyed the break and gained fat that could potentially hinder their athleticism.

We can't question Lebron, we know he maintain his body pretty well so at his age, he still look like he is on his prime, in fact he is smarter during the early days, his points is not that high but he is balancing it with other factors like the assists section, he is one of the leaders. In every debate, we can always use  his stats as the basis, so let's check his record.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jamesle01.html

His current stats is just pretty impressive, he average a double double this season.

Haha yeah no doubt he's took the foot off the pedal the past few regular season (injury aside) which is smart and picks it up during playoffs. Just think with how he looks after himself he's going to benefit the most from the break. A refreshed and rejuvenated LeBron straight into the playoffs off a substantial break will be a sight to behold imo.

https://www.bjpenn.com/mma-news/ufc/tyron-woodley-says-hes-already-been-offered-and-accepted-colby-covington-fight-following-burns-loss/

Woodley is delusional! Colby whooping him and putting him into retirement would be hilarious!

Sneaky good card this weekend. Really interested in seeing how Garbrant goes, it's a make or break fight for him.

George Floyd's death is getting a lot of support from our NBA players and different known athletes.

https://clutchpoints.com/nba-news-stephen-jackson-makes-big-promise-to-george-floyds-daughter/

Stephen Jackson is one of his friends.

Quote
“There’s a lot of stuff you said that he’s gonna miss — that I’m gonna be there for. I’m gonna walk her down the aisle. I’m gonna be there for her. I’m gonna be here to wipe your tears. I’m gonna be here for you and Gigi. Floyd might not be here, but I’m here for her, I’m here to get justice, and we’re gonna get justice for my brother.”

I mean he's always played the whole regular season and playoffs for the past 17 seasons. That's a lot of wear and tear on his body. This break means he's gets a rest he doesn't usually enjoy and comes a really good time for him. He will be freshly energized for the playoffs.

Just finished watching this show! Absolutely loved it! Loved how they incorporated so much tech stuff in the show. Man this show really gave me the feels! Lol, would highly recommend it.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: June 03, 2020, 02:39:36 PM
Fees after halving were ridiculous! I've been so used to send transactions with a 1 sat fee that my transaction got stuck in mempool for 10 days! Sad not to mention having to pay like $3 fee for a $5 transaction. That's why ETH has gained so much momentum lately.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: State of Litecoin on: June 03, 2020, 02:30:08 PM
Litecoin is pretty much done honestly. It's a sinking ship definitely wouldn't recommend investing in it or anything like that at all.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Best Cryptocurrency to buy in 2020 on: June 03, 2020, 02:25:26 PM
Honestly think ETH is worth investigating in for the long term. Has been getting a lot of attention after the recent btc congestion after halving.
