1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Waves-NG the fastest Blockchain in the world? on: October 29, 2018, 05:18:44 PM
Waves used claim since its announcement that they would be the fastest bitcoin. And recently they have set the record for maximum transactions per day. So for now I think it is fair to say its the fastest blockchain.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with MVP gains more attention ! on: October 29, 2018, 04:53:31 PM
This MVP is indeed something that is gaining the attention of more people. As this feature is helping people to realize the potential of the projects, more people are getting interested in the projects. However, MVP does not ensure the complete success of the project.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The idea in the "White paper" or the finished product? on: October 29, 2018, 04:30:08 PM
Between the two obviously the best decision would be the finished product as you'd see the real world uses for it rather than investing in a project that's still in the development phase and has no gurantee. When looking for important factors it isn't just about the white paper, you have to look into the team, the idea and how they plan to move forward with it, how responsive they are to the community. With all that you can hope that the project delivers.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make profit by buying stablecoins on: October 29, 2018, 04:11:43 PM
It's the simplest question. You have to but coins according to its value and its base product. Then you sell it according to your price limit. Also, you can work as a broker too to deliver coins.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it profitable to have a Node/Supernode? on: October 26, 2018, 03:57:32 AM
Nodes are profitable, specially the supernodes. Through Supernodes, you can earn so much at a time. But that can't be specifically identified how much. You can try that if you want.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Single Sign On and Mass Adoption on: October 24, 2018, 09:43:36 AM
I think you need to learn more technical skills. There may be occurred some server issues so that you couldn't setting up the account. You should wait till the server issue has recovered.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to create impossible transaction in Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2018, 09:27:25 AM
Not sure why would you want to do that. I mean if you do something that would never confirm your transaction, that means it would make you lose your own coins by this transaction.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price will a coin die? on: October 24, 2018, 09:07:28 AM
There is no dying for a coin as long as the exchanges and transactions continues, no matter how low the price falls. If the transactions and exchanges stop and people stop investing, only then a coin will die.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Pegged Altcoins? Are that useful? on: October 21, 2018, 08:01:40 AM
The crypto is the coin of the future so any idea which will help it to evolve will be welcomed. Also, btc pegged coins would stick to the bitcoin and it might not fall back, so this would be better for crypto exchange too.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Facebook against Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2018, 07:41:15 AM
I wouldn't say that Facebook is against Bitcoin but they are very cautious and trying to protect their users.
Having in mind how huge user network they have, they have some responsibilities. And the great deal of money that is coming from advertising. But some crypto adds might be connected with scams and they don't want to have anything with that or take some responsibility.
There are also some rumors that Facebook is going to launch its own currency although I don't believe much in that.

The ads about cryptocurrency was banned in Facebook, but now it is open. Also, as both the sectors are commercial, it is usual for them not to promote each other, also there are some restrictions in different countries against crypto, so it's normal for Facebook to be concerned. But Facebook now won't restrict any crypto related post.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How could Bitcoin Gold actually suffer from 51% attack? on: October 21, 2018, 07:18:39 AM
Being vulnerable to a 51% attack does not come from a low amount of nodes.
And it also does not come from 'bad code'.

An malicious actor needs at least 51% of the hashrate to be able to perform a 51% attack.

The reason that BTG was so vulnerable to a 51% attack comes from the extremely low hashrate of the network.
Such an attack would not be efficiently doable on the BTC network, thanks to the high hashrate/difficulty.

BTG was/is not the only coin vulnerable to 51% attacks. A lot of coins do have an extremely low hashrate, which makes it possible to simply rent the necessary hashrate to perform an 51% attack.

High hashrate/difficulty => Low chance of 51% attack and vice versa.

An event like that raised a lot of question and it is natural, as a stable coin like that suffering 51% damage is a serious news. However, it has nothing to do with bad code or lower number of node regardless of the percentage. One of the possible reason can be the enough hash-rate acquisition by the attacker.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some arguments used against Crypto-Currency on: October 19, 2018, 05:43:33 AM
There will always be arguments against a different system such as the cryptocurrency. People often try to show logics against this currency and says that this currency has some very bad sides. However, what they ignore is that even the fiat currencies share  the same negative sides.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would bitcoin deal with a sudden drop in hashrate? on: October 19, 2018, 05:26:55 AM
Bitcoin is the most stable coin and it is backed by more than enough miners. It is an impossible scenario where mining will be illegalized and banned ALL over the world. So, there will always be miners who will keep mining. Even if the mining deos get banned, it will be the end of all crypto currency along with the BItcoin.
