Get this crap off of here. Every time someone mentions SR on here, they are doing a disservice to the bitcoin community.

I don't say this to be rude, but with any currency , there is a black market (including paypal - if you dont believe me watch the movie called "Jackin' 101"). What you said is the equivalent of saying "Don't mention drugs, it makes cash look naughty". Again, not being rude but simply stating a fact. These underground markets are a measurable element when breaking down the overall statement of cash flows of any given nation.

While I hope this is a troll post - in the event it is not and you are emotional and not prioritizing making complete sense online (which is why people think you are a troll). I doubt you will get your $ back, I doubt the police will care, having said that, getting jacked sucks and I'm sorry to hear/read that.

Yeah... I decided to see what their computation of the "bitcoin value" was using the online tor network (not the app) and I get the following message when trying to access the site:

The requested resource could not be loaded because the server returned an error:
  503 Service Unavailable

I've had it time out before due to slow data stream but this is a first for me regarding the 503 error.

It was quite frustrating when I wanted to answer a hardware question, but after staring at the screen for five minutes wondering where the reply button went, I quickly gave up.

There are many ways to prevent spam and trolls, and this is an effective way, maybe not the best, but it does make it difficult for newcomers to contribute. All I got to say now is: Na na na, I got out Tongue

P.S.: The 4 hours limit is kinda ridiculous. I'm not sure the policy makers know how long that can take to accumulate.

I agree, it seems like a good effort to curb the trolling and get truly interested parties to participate in an effective manor. A few days ago there were several users who were bashing the owner of a web page selling - ahem... "less than healthy porn" and that crap went on forever. While I agreed with the points made by some of the people sticking to their ethics/morals, it did distract from the actual topic at hand and the constructive information relating to a big hub in the bitcoin accepting retailers. The admin deleted those troll posts eventually. My point with this is that while this is a measure admin has taken not all will agree with, I COMPLETELY see why they are doing this.

If you have an immediate need to be allowed into the forum beyond, please post your request here. Reasons such as "I'm not a spammer" will be ignored. You must provide evidence that shows that you understand more about Bitcoin than the average newbie would or that what you want to post can only be done in another forum.

Much obliged.

Edit: Many people posting here have already met the 5 posts and 4 hour requirements. If you see "Jr. Member" by your name, you don't need to post here.

While I have not purchased any bitcoin yet, I have a full intention to and by being allowed access to the forum here I can access the information required for me to buy when it is a good time in the market. Anyone who purchases any kind of stake(s) in money markets, needs a full gambit of information to best asses when the most ideal time to invest will be. I am not claiming I am any kind of investing genius, however data related to this specific market (including other people's speculation, ideas, observations, etc...) are all important aspects when it comes to relevant market data for an individual to analyze (i.e. myself).

I have NO intention of being one of those "silk road" obsessed individuals. While SR does play a part in the flux of the non-static nature of bitcoin, it is not the most important part.

I understand the administrators being vigilant with this forum for a gambit of reasons and I appreciate it. While I would be a little disappointed that I can no longer access all the information here, I would most certainly understand if it was decided that I don't yet deserve full access here. Thank you to all the admin for your time, I appreciate it.

If you would like to further ask my intentions or my perspective, I would encourage admin to PM me or email me (I assume you have access to the email address linked to my forum account info).
