Salary is always the best motivation for work Smiley
If you pay your worker well, you show him that you appreciate him, his work and effort.
You're right, if you pay your worker fairly its a motivation to work hard for getting what they deserves not only for them but also for their family. Plus showing that you care as an employer is important too for them to not feel that they are just a worker but a family that you care of.

People still settle. If you give them a raise, they settle, and the motivation eventually goes back down. That's not a criticism, just a fact. So then you go back to the point of how to motivate yourself again. This is an issues in sports with players making tens of millions of dollars. That constant search for motivation.

It's all about having a clear vision of a goal. For example today is my day off, there's so much to do, but I can't get myself motivated. I just need that vision of how things would be if I finally got some of the things that needs to be done done. This could be laundry, or simply making the effort of coming to Bitcointalk more often, even though I feel opportunity passed me by.

It won't go supernova anytime soon. They detected neutrinos from near that part, but not exactly Betelgeuse. And from my understanding the neutrinos are detected a couple of hours before the star goes supernova. This was days ago. It's just people getting exited for the no chance possibility.

http://www.astronomerstelegram.org/?read=13410

Its been dimming for more then a month, and further observations show even more. And suggests a 9-10% radius change, along with the temperature of the star changing by 100 K. These changes are drastic for a star where changes are static over millions of years.

Changes for such a star is normal and continuous. They get bigger, in terms of volume (not mass) and then get smaller.

So what are the plans for the next six months for Tau Chain?

you can see the roadmap in http://www.idni.org/ ....also,,,the telegram group chat is very active...https://t.me/tauchain

Thank you. It doesn't give a time frame though. Nor do I know at what stage we are in.

It's hard following dozens of coin here and there so I apologize. Even just joining Telegram, it's a bit overwhelming keeping up.

it will take some time but we all expect to be worthit
hope it doesn't take another 4 years tho

How long have you been waiting personally? Why do you still believe?
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who do you think will win the 2020 election? on: June 29, 2019, 02:00:51 AM
Trump is going to win. He has shown to be a good President. With the economy and jobs on a surge. Some people were expecting doom. I doubt those people will change their mind though.

I've been a little bit out of it. Is there a Roadmap? I'm reading about Datalog, it's so complicated. Makes it really hard to follow the project.

Exciting News!
The Tau team has just released a video featuring Ohad, Fola and Isar giving a development update as well as discussing their plans going forward regarding the business side of the project

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0WhSrEqE7g

I haven't seen an Ohad video in years. Probably 2016.

New site has been launched!!! http://agoras.io/

I like the new site, it's better for  new people. Though personally I really prefer the old style because different and unique. The focus was more on the information.

I went to check for Agoras on coinmarketcap, but it's not listed. What happened?

lol it got delisted from all exchanges (bittrex) a while back ago. where were you all this time?

I more or less stopped following a year and a half ago. The last time I checked the price the market cap was over 100 million dollars. Went to check a couple of days ago...

Why did it get delisted?

Will it be based on the original devs vision, or will it be something completely different?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HOWL | Signature Campaign Open | Mobile Social Application | No ICO on: June 20, 2018, 10:29:16 PM
i sincerely hope this project comes back and be a reality cause i really love the idea behind it
yeah, true mate, we all love the idea behind the project and this is why we will try our best to bring the project back to live and in so doing, make the idea a reality

By when do you think you will have a working project? Do you think it might just be better to start a new airdrop instead of a coin swap?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Bitcoin go below 6K? on: June 18, 2018, 05:50:44 PM
I don't think it will. I think that if it starts going that low too many people will buy the dip. I don't know about alts though.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has gone to shit on: June 17, 2018, 08:41:52 PM
There have always been scams in crypto, but it did start to annoy me that in the past a $3 million dollar ICO used to be a lot of money and more than enough to get a project going, and now lesser projects ask for tens of millions of dollars. For that reason I hate ICOs now. NXT was like $3,000 or some ridiculous low amount, and look at what they created at the time. One guy.

Onion is not a scam, in fact I love it because it was the complete opposite of the current ICOs. All community, with different people volunteering their service. Just like NEM.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: June 17, 2018, 02:38:21 AM
I remember reading a thread back in 2014 from a guy who lost $400,000 of his life savings and hadn't told his wife. And something about having to work another job. That's probably the worse story that I've ever heard. I just hope that person did not quit crypto completely, due to the boom.
