Hi, I have witnessed the recent hashrate drop issue and trying to understand how this affects transaction capacity on the bitcoin network.
Is it true that when there is sudden drop in hash rate the number blocks mined per day goes down? (does this then mean that the network has slowed down? As in, it takes longer for a transaction to be confirmed?) In which case, that is why people are willing to enter a bidding war and pay higher fees it seems... I think?
If this is all true, and the sudden drop causes a network slowdown, I am wondering, what happens if the network hash rate stabilises at this new lower rate for a while (such as weeks?).
Does the network re-adjust to its pre-sudden-drop levels of transaction capacity? (if that has indeed gone down?). If this is how it works, how long will it take do you think for the transaction capacity to return to normal if no increase in hash rate occurs? (as in if these miners stay offline for a while, such as weeks).
Thanks

Hopefully the article helped to clarify things. ReadingCoin allows people to earn reading coins while they read. It’s that simple. Everyone will want their reading coins to have value and therefore will want to accept them as payment, thus creating a self-sustaining currency. Getting in on the ground floor is now possible with our ICO. Thanks

A new point to investors - one advantage with this ICO it allows ICO investors in at the ground level, funding round 2 will cost at least 20x more than in the ICO, so it is higher risk but also much higher reward potentially.

With lack of preparation I think people will not interest with the coin.
Even more to many new coin appear with good idea but no development.

Anyone have any thoughts to share on Reading Coin - ReadingCoin.org? Thanks, looking forward to replies. Feel free to ask any questions, Founder - Matthew Jones On what point? what people do need to read on? This will be free for the user to decide, but the rating system will determine how much is earned based on the DAO voting system on quality content and its reading age.

Many thanks for the feedback and ideas everyone. Some social links have been added and an about page. It seems some more explanation for how the app will work is needed. Basically the camera on a persons device will be used to track their eye movements to prove they have read a specific page. This way you can create a useful proof of work, rather than mining (guessing psudorandom numbers) that contributes to society, thus giving reading coin (XED) an advantage over bitcoin in that regard.
