Risks are existing in any type of investment and bigger in cryptocurrency and much bigger in DeFi investment.

[DeFi Tutorial] What is Impermanent Loss?
Chart of 1inch shows that its price rose from below $1 to more than $6 and now it is traded around $4.4. I think you can have other rises from 1inch to take profit if you want to invest and stake.

So is it safer than liquidity providing? What I'm worried about is losing all the tokens, don't matter if the price drops.

To start with, you got the 1inch tokens through an airdrop. I don't even see any risk in one losing what was ever received for free. On a more serious note, trading is a risk just like every form of business is. Asking here and someone making you a guarantee that it's safe to stake on that Dex is on its own a risk too because you're asking random strangers too. However, if I were you I would take that bold step of faith and stake it and assume it a win-win. Whatever the outside, I live with it without regrets.
Well, I also bought some after that airdrop. I want to know more about staking 1inch tokens, what is staking used for? how different is it from other coins that have staking? what are the risks of staking it? etc.

Hi everyone, I received the airdrop from 1inch and was wondering if there were any risks in staking these tokens using the "stake" option in their governance tap from their DAO? I heard about people losing their tokens but that was when farming in liquidity pools, is staking 1inch tokens different?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What Is the Best Stable Coin for Saving? on: March 03, 2021, 11:49:16 PM
Hi everyone, hope you are having a good day. I have a few questions regarding stable coins, I've made some gains in this crypto bull market and wanted to save some of these gains in the form of stable coins and also save some of my income in these coins since they give higher interest rates than a regular bank. I will use something like AAVE or Blockfi to get interest on these dollar begged coins but I'm clueless as to which one should I go for? USDC seems to be a great option but a few questions come to mind:
-are there any decentralized stable coins that are superior to USDC?
-is DAI better than USDC since it's more decentralized?
-How would the price and performance of ETH affect something like DAI(since it's coming from Maker)?
-Are there other decentralized Stable coins that are better than DAI?
-Are there any projects coming in the future that I should keep an eye on that might have something that is better that USDC,TUSD,DAI, etc.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Any other exchanges/projects that might do what UNI did and give free tokens? on: September 20, 2020, 05:14:17 AM
Hi all,
I've been absent from the crypto community since 2018 and recently came back, literally, about two weeks ago because everybody was talking about the next bullrun. Now I missed out on a lot of changes that happened in the past couple of years; mainly DeFi and was really surprised about what Uniswap did with their tokens and giving away 400 UNI for everyone,if you got 400 UNI congrats I'm happy for you ,I was wondering if there are other projects that can do something like that in the future?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I need advice about my portfolio, can someone help? on: September 17, 2020, 03:00:32 PM
My portfolio right now is divided into 50% Litecoin 30% Eth and 20% Bitcoin. I want to restructure it between these coins (Or other coins), What should I do? I tune in and out of the crypto markets pretty often so my knowledge isn't optimal.
8  Other / Off-topic / Is there a way to buy U.S. stocks using crypto? on: June 11, 2020, 12:19:34 AM
I've been getting paid in crypto for a while now and was wondering if there is a way to directly buy stocks with crypto rather than transferring to fiat currency and then using that to buy stocks
9  Other / Off-topic / Are There any Fiverr Alternatives that use Crypto As A Payment Method? on: February 16, 2020, 07:05:50 AM
Hi all, I have a question. I've been working on Fiverr for a while now and I have a major problem with payments, Paypal works in my country but it has so many limitations from the local banks, they won't issue a debit/credit card that accepts money from Paypal for fear of money laundering. I found a FB group in my country where people offer escrow services; they send me their Paypal email and receive the money on my behalf and then send me the money locally after they take a small fee. It worked well for a few weeks then the guy I was dealing with raised the fee and I had to change the Paypal email on Fiverr to a new guy and now this other guy wants to do the same.
Isn't there a better alternative to Fiverr that uses Crypto as a payment?
I read that Fiverr used to have Bitcoin as a payment method but they removed it in 2017  Cry Cry
10  Other / Beginners & Help / How Much Can Someone Realistically Make From Airdrops in 2019? on: April 11, 2019, 08:08:30 AM
I'm looking to make some pocket money and read about Airdrops and there are some sites that list all new airdrops and how to obtain them and was wondering how much can you make in a month?
Is anybody following these Airdrops now and if so can you please tell me how much?
Thanks.
11  Economy / Service Discussion / Are there any good escrow cryptocurrency websites? on: February 17, 2019, 08:45:17 AM
I've been freelancing for a while and been accepting crypto directly from my clients and everything is good but recently I want to expand my work and work more hours and I want to add more convenience to my clients by accepting Paypal but unfortunately Paypal in my country sucks because the banks won't accept payment from it unless I 'prove' I'm a businessman with and even then they will only issue cards with $500 limits so I won't be able to charge my clients more than that.
My question is, Is there a trusted website that can handle this for me? where I give them the websites Paypal and they receive the money and then send it to me on crypto?

If you are wondering what I do I freelance web design and development started on websites like warriorfourm and TBN.
