I wonder if I get access to some corporate server room with good temperature and humidity, how much H/s will I be able to get? My friend has access to one.
As long as the ambient T isn't > 30°C, those units will perform the same. Corporate server rooms are cool for corporate servers.
People are saying that overclocking is a bottleneck, so theoretically if a miner is located in a server room, can I overclock it more? People hav been talking about heat-related issues when overclocking.

as far as im concerned my apollo will never do over 650gh/s  on any multiplier...it gets to 103 celsius @ 750mhz, in a room which is barely 21c.....with the exhaust directly leaving the room.

only way i heard it work a little better was with a aircon unit keeping it cool...if you completely sealed the electronics with mobo sealant you might be able to just stick it outside  Cheesy

I'm in the same situation as you guys. I also ordered in Feb for March delivery date I've been told now before the end of August. Recieved a compensation miner which at 837 mhz keeps an average of 630ghs.it will do 800 plus but AVERAGE which is the most important over time is as stated earlier. Anything over 837mhz and the hash rate drops. I'm hoping the other miners when they come through perform better.

i cant get mine that high, too hot here haha
gotta keep it around 750mhz or it hits 105c and trips out, Performs pretty well at 90-104c tho

First two weeks got 500-600GH/s. Now miner is working great at up to 109C , got 700-720 GH/s at 800MHz. try different pools.

definitely not true
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hashcoins.com - New Bitcoin Mining Hardware vendor/producer on: July 19, 2014, 10:21:25 AM
The actual miners themselves are of high quality

its just the half a year it has taken to see one.....
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashCoins Hardware Owners Thread on: July 18, 2014, 01:51:18 PM
the miner auto shuts down at 105c or over even if the cgminer settings say 110....so there must be a thermal trip on the board.

so how has harlemx got to 109c?Huh?? i think he/she is Lying!  Angry

my hashrate is about 620gh @750mhz for about 10mins then it ALWAYS drops to 550-580gh/s ...why???

i have tried numerous pools and they all have the same trait of no higher than 580-590gh after ten minutes on 750mhz....

when i put it to 800mhz it drops to the same gh/s as 750mhz!! but still gets 5c hotter.....wtf

sometimes after restarting, for about 5mins cgminer shows over 1 TH/s , which is definitely wrong..

i have to use cgminer 4.3 as anything higher will refuse to create or read a .conf file  and insta-crash upon an attempt to do so, whether miner is attached or not.
(happens on xp and 7 and different computers)

i cant believe you have it that hot  Shocked

i imagine the components on the boards are only rated at 105c?

suppose its not going to be good for mining forever anyways, use n abuse

if i open it ill void any kind of warranty, and if there is somthing wrong with it id be screwed..so im reluctant right now to do that.

it has gone up to 412gh...i read somewhere that it takes a week to burn in? but everyone else seems to have 500 or more from the get go, just have to wait another 4 days to see.

*recieved a manual from hashcoins wooo!*

changed to 600mhz and now getting around 450gh, but the temps at 90c.

650 produces about 93c and about 540gh

750..forget about it haha it hit 98c and i shut it down, it wouldve gone higher.. it hit 800gh tho

i would need a well ventilated room at around a constant 10c to keep these in check at 750mhz+ haha

just received a miner

i never got any kind of manual only a shipping invoice, is there a burn-in time? just managing to get 400gh a few hours in..

its an apollo btw

hmm 91c..  its 17c outside 19c indoors

*changed pool and got around 440 nearly straight away hmm*

funny how small and unreplied to this thread is considering that there are supposed to have been hundreds of miners shipped...
11  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hashcoins.com - New Bitcoin Mining Hardware vendor/producer on: May 28, 2014, 11:00:33 AM
from my experience with them, i would say buy elsewhere.

the shipping queue is at least 3 months behind, all their estimated delivery times are completely bogus, it doesn't "SEEM" like a scam because people appear to be receiving but still... Sad

i find its difficult to get a reply from them more then not.

Not true. They are shipping. Some orders with delays, but mostly they are carrying out their obligations. By now I received my order in full.

what not true??! i ordered 3 and a half  months ago..

i didn't say they weren't shipping, don't quote me if your not going to read it properly.

welllll 10 days left of may..

has anyone who was guaranteed delivery by this month received anything yet???
13  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hashcoins.com - New Bitcoin Mining Hardware vendor/producer on: May 05, 2014, 12:42:34 PM
if another 11 days pass it will hit the 3 month mark for me, and if nothing has happened in that time ill probably demand a refund from them
as im starting to get quite angry with constantly being told the same thing every month.

("your order will ship this month") the first time its said, ok fair enough' Then the second.. not good, but still its being said...
in all honesty hashcoins knew damn well it wasn't sending us out our miners' but chose to miss-lead us to buy time.

more than a 1/4 of a year... is just awful.
14  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hashcoins.com - New Bitcoin Mining Hardware vendor/producer on: May 01, 2014, 10:39:01 AM
if you'd read through the thread you'd find that they are indeed legitimate

most asic company's if not all of them take about 2-3 months it would seem, and thats nowhere near as bad as some queues that were into 11-13 months without receiving...(bfl)

all asic company's with a pre-order have very little chance at all of delivering on schedule no matter what dates they seem to claim.
15  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hashcoins.com - New Bitcoin Mining Hardware vendor/producer on: April 30, 2014, 01:40:25 PM
although people buying them for that price now probably wont be receiving for 90 days, so that kinda makes it more acceptable i guess.

still doesn't seem right tho
16  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hashcoins.com - New Bitcoin Mining Hardware vendor/producer on: March 09, 2014, 04:04:47 PM
well if you ordered in January that would make alot more sense, thanks for clearing that up
17  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hashcoins.com - New Bitcoin Mining Hardware vendor/producer on: March 09, 2014, 10:15:04 AM
i find it very strange that this Welmark is the only one to meet them and also the only one that has been contacted about shipping, especially when he definitely was not the first to order.

if he ordered on feb 6th why has he said on the 18th feb "finally placed my order",

i can only think that either welmark is not telling the truth or there is something very dodgy going on.
18  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hashcoins.com - New Bitcoin Mining Hardware vendor/producer on: March 08, 2014, 10:10:15 PM
order 3440, 16th feb ,Poseidon miners

i haven't received an email stating its being built or that it has shipped yet, i have contacted them and they have also replied saying it is on schedule for 31st march.

Welmark i was wondering how you have recieved an email confirming your shipping, apparently you ordered on the 18th?

Sooo... here are results of my investigation:

I met Sergei in Berlin at Inside Bitcoins https://www.hashcoins.com/news/inside-bitcoins-berlin-2014/
He was reaally surprised when I asked him to show his ID, but here is the result: http://imgur.com/Giaiooj ,
However after that I decided to check their company in Tallinn and was pleasantly surprised when their CTO personally met me at their offices http://imgur.com/Ocl4wvv,rJJ0rJv,vl5u0Sy,L38g8qn,OVovO2M#0

So, today I finally placed an order and soon I'll be mining my bitcoins ))

i ordered 2 days before you and have received no email from hashcoins about anything i didnt directly ask about.
