1  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ponzi.io - Fast, Guaranteed 120% Payouts on: February 25, 2014, 07:18:47 PM
I think the biggest ponzi in this forum was mtgox.com
2  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: FIRST EVER (no profit) PONZI 200% PAYOUT ! on: February 24, 2014, 05:53:26 PM
Are you aware that it's not just "last one" that's left unpaid?
If 30 different people send 0.01 each then you can only pay the first 15 people.
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: BEWARE PONZIS on: February 19, 2014, 12:40:31 AM
That's why I gamble ("invest") in ponzis:

Of course some are scams, some run away with the money and all of them eventually stop. The legitimate ones stop because no one sends deposits anymore, because the queue is very long. That's fine, it's not a scam, that's how the game works.

Betek please don't use unconrifmed outputs I think you can make the whole ponzi stuck until some transactions confirm.
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: should Ponzi's be in the gambling section? on: February 18, 2014, 12:53:09 PM
If it should be anywhere at all, it should be in Games & Rounds like the free BTC offers.  It has much less business being upstairs than even those free stuff threads, which have been here upstairs since I've been here.

I think it should be in some HYIP thread, though.  It's not really gambling in a "legitimate" sense.

Right, for gambling, there is a house edge, which everyone knows about (or should know about) and it remains constant, generally speaking.  With these ponzi schemes, they are like admitted failure gambling companies, like they'll last for a couple days and then you get nothing back.  In other words, they are guaranteed to be scams (unlike "regular" gambling).
You don't get anything after a few days, that's true. But in the first few hours/first day you can earn something significant. I used lots of ponzi sites and with positive earnings on total. There certainly is a strategy to earn from them. But now it is more difficult than a week ago because there are too many ponzis, and some don't even get any deposit at all.

Put at least some yourself.

Hello low post count new members supporting Ponzi's in the gambling section.

Ponzi sites are not like gambling because the model is completely unsustainable.  it is called a "Scheme" and not a "game" for this reason.

Hello:)
On average, gambling will cost you more than you will earn. Otherwise it will not be sustainable (no operator wants to lose).
Same thing on ponzis. It's true that they can never survive for long. It's a known fact. I'm only doing this for a week (since ponzi.io) and I've used more than 12 sites (I can list them if needed).
The fact that ponzis don't last long doesn't mean you can't use them as long as they are paying and earn money on total. It just mean some people will have to lose the same amount others are earning.

To flower1024 who said that they may be illegal. That's an important point this site owners need to consider.
For me I'm pretty sure that where I live participating in gambling (and I consider bitcoin ponzis gambling) is illegal. It doesn't bother me much.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ SATOSHIPONZI.COM ★ 120% Automated Ponzi. 5min payout. 1% fee on: February 16, 2014, 09:51:36 PM
This game has earned me almost 0.1 BTC in less than 24 hours. I hope many more deposits will come. It is still alive but not as fast.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: should Ponzi's be in the gambling section? on: February 16, 2014, 09:27:08 PM
These games that call themselves "ponzis" are not Ponzi schemes. As long as the operators disclose everything, then they are no more a scam than any other gambling game.
+100 Totally agree.
Sites that say the payment is guaranteed are lying but in general the Ponzi games are very fun and potentially rewarding.
It should be obvious that if you invest in the beginning you have a high chance of payback, and as time goes it decreases.

Personally I've earned a good amount and can say they usually work. Or rather some work and some are scam, that's why you should check and be careful.

That said, I'm not against a sub-forum for ponzis. I come only for them, I never tried the other games and don't care about them.
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: >$>$>Ponzi R US The first 200% payout Ponzi!<$<$<(Payouts Confirmed) on: February 16, 2014, 12:38:01 AM
This is/was scam, don't send.
11  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BitVestment.co.vu - Fully Automated 125% Ponzi on: February 14, 2014, 01:11:42 PM
Betek, if you send such large amount you will have to wait a bit longer. This has been the case in every ponzi that there has been until now. If you start spamming this topic you will only chase potential new players away and then it will take even longer... Just be patient Smiley
Actually I think insdice.us paid every single one in order.

I looked for oldest unconfirmed transaction. https://blockchain.info/tx/2ab55b583f7b1064060622e17f13c06b47dc11b0f9df3cd0439a0e8d4bb7dc3f
It says "Estimated Confirmation Time    42 minutes
Warning: Transaction fee is less than recommended".
12  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BitVestment.co.vu - Fully Automated 125% Ponzi on: February 14, 2014, 10:25:40 AM
I got paid for three investments + one of them got paid twice:)
Legit so far.

Question about the site. You say:
"Repayments are automated every 5 minutes, transactions are prioritised on a first come first serve basis. To reduce any backlog in payments, deposits which exceed our current wallet balance are skipped until sufficiant funds are available."

Does it mean that if I send a big transaction and there is not enough balance to cover, it will get skipped and later transactions processed first?
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: [TOP] InsWeb: Ponzi.PW [we are coming soon] on: February 12, 2014, 11:53:10 PM
Ins,
I enjoyed ponzi @ insdice.us very much, and looking forward for this.

To stay running a ponzi needs to keep growing exponentially. Since growth in number of new users can't be enough for more than a few hours/days, I suggest you start with a low payout (like 110%) and make it gradually higher as the queue length (=risk) increases.
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: [TOP] Dice 1% H.E insdice.us on: February 12, 2014, 07:24:51 PM
That doesn't sound good at all.
People from the first pool will be paid means the long queue will continue and new players will not get paid. I won't put money in this, just like I don't put money in the ponzi as it is now.
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: [TOP] Dice 1% H.E insdice.us on: February 12, 2014, 02:25:44 PM
Ins, don't listen to them.
I surely hope you don't refund people that didn't get money because of the queue with your own money. It doesn't make sense.

The point of pyramid "investments" is that you only get paid if you invest early enough. Most of the deposits in the queue now will never get paid, and they have been used to pay previous investors. Maybe only if the return percent goes up drastically (like 400% instead of 105%) then people will agree to risk  money again.

Ins, if you start a new round it need to start with low returns (like 105%) and gradually go to higher returns as the queue gets slower.
This is because in the beginning the risk for investor is very low, and then it becomes grater and greater.

That's stupid with 2nd ponzi, just advertise >.<
It's not stupid.
You must understand that it is a Pyramid scheme and can't live forever, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_scheme
Even if you advertise and bring lots of people in maybe it can survive another day or two.
Maybe when a new ponzi starts the previous one should get bumped to 150% for fun&risk.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: [TOP] +Ponzi 105% (ponzi.pw) | +Dice 1% H.E (insdice.us) | on: February 10, 2014, 10:05:29 PM
Keep this ponzi but also create new round something like http://insdice.us/2 with new address and same rules (120%)
Beacuse in the current one the queue is so long that it might stop paying forever.
(You can start another one every time the last one gets slow. Or every week etc.)
