If you have kept your CRC wallet from before the swap to x16s and never participate in it, you can just download CRCL wallet from here: https://github.com/CRowdCLassic/crowdclassic-core/releases and wait for it to sync. Then simply paste your wallet.dat from the CRC wallet directory into the CRCL one and restart.

Long story short: It is a successor of the Crowdcoin blockchain. They made a swap and moved to another algorithm so the old blockchain was abandoned. A decision was made to continue the support of it because the network proved itself to be reliable and trustworthy one.
