Relentless in progress. Team has been around for long time, technology is sound and the vetting got on Binance just shows this is truly valuable.
Reading about economics, team tokens are blocked for 3.5 years - this also shows this is for long term.
Great stuff overall. Thanks for the very well presented ANN.

Hi guys, So I'm looking for opinions on a good code reviewer...someone who knows what they are talking about but has also a good audience/followers. The Elrond testnet is almost ready and we want someone to look at our code. More about project here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5129498

Considering the high level of scam associated with ICOs presently, many investors are at risk of loosing their investments. Bounty hunters like us are not spared as we may be rendering free services to some scammers and also risking our personal data.
I suppose a regulatory body be set up to audit the ICO process and the founders, and if anything goes wrong or should the project fail, they will be liable. This will reduce drastically investors risk and also keep scammers away. What do you think?
Check this out - the journey to a regulated ICO: https://medium.com/elrondnetwork/becoming-a-regulated-ico-ef8f03bd39f5

Have a project that caught your attention but aren't so tech savy? List it here and I will research into it and provide my opinion.
Please do not name a project that has already been named and no off topic discussion.
P.S the reason for this thread is because I see that the majority of members are not tech savy at all and have no clue what they are investing in nor do they read the whitepaper thus wanting to help out community members from investing into shitty projects.
www.elrond.com Seems like Solana offered a solution to this project with a shard-less approach? If so wouldn't put to much time into it if a better solution has been offered. Surely you must be joking about Solana... )

I have a bad feeling that this guy wants to give life to the dying ICO because he wants to get funded with their own ICO he is trying to hard to get funded and make it appear they have a great technology to offer that others don't have, better try harder it might work. Well, he wants to be fast to quickly make his own money too through ICO from the remaining people that will still give a shit to ICOs when there are lots better means of investing in crowd funding projects now which will guarantee security such as IEO, I think they are beginning to get the gist that the end time for scammers are already near. If he want to do a genuine crowd funding that will gain people’s attention and guarantee security for their investment, it’s better he starts going through IEO now rather than ICOs. Love this kind of talk )) do your research guys check the tech and then we can talk.

There are obvious advantages of having money truly free from the shackles of censorship, that is one of the uniques advantages cryptocurrency offers, nonetheless, there are a few exceptions to this general proposition, the only form of money that should be free is a truly decentralized money, not some minted coins minted at the behest of some governments or corperations.
Agree with you there - decentralization is key

"The vision we set out with, was that Elrond should be a value transfer protocol.
One that can scale, is fast, and comparatively efficient.
As we progressed, it became clear to us, that the digital economy consisted of two important parts: programmable money, and unstoppable applications.
And Elrond could do both, because unlike previous blockchain iterations, it does not have to trade-off performance, for security and decentralization." - Beniamin Mincu - CEO Elrond
What do you think guys?
Digital economy = programmable money and unstoppable applications?
maybe the vision you are planning is good enough for a new digital currency to come in, but I have doubts about the explanation without an official link directed at the real project, we cannot further assess this Feel free to check us out here: www.elrond.com also happy to answer any questions

I think that every developer speaks the best about his product and is sure that soon he will take Bitcoin's title of leader in the cryptocurrency market. The truth is that whether it is a good project will verify the market and time. There is many good projects, let's wait and we will see. Absolutely - I think you're right. At the end of the day those who actually build and have something to show for will survive. I love the community on here and study many projects in the same time. I wish all the best to those who BUIDL

I have no idea with Elrond but it seemed to be shilled all over the altcoin discussions board.
But for the market, 2019 will show strength and I believe that new money would come in. Some institutions will flow the money in but I'm more optimistic on 2020.
Hi! Good to see you around - I'm part of the Elrond team happy to answer any questions.

Blockchain is gradually spreading its use. There was recent news about it being used on election system which is quite a good example for utilizing blockchain technology. There are networks today that is spreading the word about the technology so this is going to be adopted soon and I think those who invest today are going to be the rich guys of tomorrow.
another aspect to keep in mind is blockchain as being user-friendly - we'll have to see how projects will implement this in time.

If you are entering cryptos for easy money, then this is not for you..try gambling instead ! I am holding btc from last 7 years..i don't regret at all
We need more education in sustainable investments. There are good projects out there which still provide a lot of value and I think it all comes down to good technology.
