Hi, this is Yishan from reddit. I am the CEO of the company.
I just want to confirm that this is NOT affiliated with reddit in any way, and the developers responsible do NOT have permission to use our name or our logos. Please do not "invest" in this (it also seems a bit scammy...).
Also, if the developers do move forward with launching the coin, we will be forced to take legal action to protect our trademarks (something you have to do to avoid dilution). I don't want to do that, so I would really prefer it if the devs responsible for this would voluntarily shut down this project. Again, it is not in any way sanctioned by reddit.

Failed launches happens. The responsible and sane thing to do is relaunch, OP is doing it correctly.
And i'm sorry if you rented rigs and got shafted, thats just the way it goes. Nobody has guaranteed you anything, if you actually owned rigs you'd waste some of your mining time and electricity only. It was announced fairly quickly that launch was a dud.
TLDR: Theres no scam here, come back to mine on relaunch or not, but dont spread fud for no reason!
"Failed launches happens." With 70BTC IPO there is not enough money to make a launch smooth, set up pools, give proper support to set up miners, provide a client that actually works? WTF are you running them at 2 GHz?  Seriously that is at least 50% more than I have ever seen on a 7950 That's what I started out at. I can do a screenshot of the 500+ if you'd like. Nicely advanced 7950 setup. You should've seen the 280X hashrates lol. Are you sure your cards provide valid work? I have yet to see even a 290X at 500+... They clearly are all rejects in the pic. It's not producing valid work and certainly not at 500+ like he claims. He probably is using the 0.5.4pre2 miner and has --scrypt instead of --nscrypt in the config You guys are retards. That was on pool.mn's reject testnet, from page 30 or so. EVERYONE was getting rejected work because it was TEST. Yes, my rigs produce legit work. I earn btc every 3 days or so. My 7950's push past 720 on Scrypt, and my 270's push past 500kh on Scrypt. I can point you to any number of developers, poool operators, etc, who can vouch. I am not trying to insult you. Pushing a 7950 700+ on scrypt is no problem, but 500+ kh/s nscrypt valid work seems like way too much. My 7950s reach ~330, my 290X barely touch 480, and that's already pushing hard. Would you be willing to share your settings? |

It's sad.
All these people bashing someone who has only brought me and many others success. I am
going out on a limb to assume that they did not invest in DOGE or UNO. Either that or they bought them high
and sold them low and made an error of their own doing. You must realize something very important here :
This man has brought order from chaos.
Maybe the man says some things that are a bit ... let's say..... eccentric.
But I see a massive opportunity to ride a long slow wave of real power instead of
the vapor that I have been seeing in and out of this place called Alt Crypto.
I think ego and boldness are part of the game. And that's what this is. A
game of strategy. There will be innovation from some of these coins, and none
from others. But speaking for the traders and miners ... we are here to
pay the bills and play this game. A game that, until recently, has been very
chaotic. To have the ability to rely on a person that will set the bar is fantastic.
I am closely following his movements and tactics. I already see a large plan
being formed that is way beyond what you see now. And not just with this coin.
I have been playing this crypto game every day, all day, all night for months.
You are blind if you don't realize what is happening here.
Now there is some order. The field is level. The game is on.
So please continue scratching, clawing, and crying if it suits you.

People are sour with Wolong and his ilk because they're the same sort of greedy and ill-ethic'd folk who have caused so much financial strife in nearly every other aspect of society. Ya you've made money right now, but do you think he's going to give a damn if he screws up and you end up losing a bunch of cash? should he give a damn? Are you not a responsible adult? Is it not your job to keep your very own bunch of cash secure, diversified, or otherwise responsibly invested? I dont exactly like this wolong guy and his manners, but if you play this unregulated cryptogame you should already know that it is your own fault if you end up losing. It is very clear that the creator of this coin has his own profit in mind, I dont think anyone denies that. You either ride the wave or you dont. But dont blame anybody but yourself if you drown. |
