hello dok,

since ver 1.7.4 the hashrate on heavy/haven/bittube are broken again. my rx 470/480/570/580 only get 86x, while on version 1.7.3 they can get 11xx.
is there any new config should be added?

Thanks&Regards,
Hin

Report from me ...

Yes this is it the best miner today. V1.7.2 give me the highest hasrate on 470/480/570/580. Thanks doctor.

Just a report on v1.7.1

GPU   : RX 470/480/570/580
Driver : 18.6.1
OS     : Windows 64
Algo   : Haven

ON GPU with 4GB memory (single thread), the hashrate is highest compared to other miner and stable.  Kiss Kiss

ON GPU with 8GB memory (dual threads), if lucky the hashrate is the highest compared to other miner. (about 50 more)
To reach the highest hasrate(1xxx), we must not touch the rig after start but:
1. if we are not lucky, it may not reach the highest hashrate, it is only 8xx-9xx
2. unstable if we remote the computer using teamviewer, "sometimes" the hashrate will drop and not going up again
3. on some cards the hashrate will reduce overtime to 8xx-9xx and stay at that point

I have done using "fragment"=9999 with different Intensity from 52-59, worksize 8 and 16

Thanks

Hi Doctor,

As a sample running haven for 1.6.8 vs 1.7.0, I am using gpu card asus rog rx580 8gb, memory type micron

My Mem Strap : 777000000000000022AA1C0073626C41B0551016BA0D260B006AE60004061420EA8940AA0300000 01914292EB22E3B16 (From Pimp SRBPolaris)
cclock/mclock : 1160/2200
AMD Driver     : 18.6.1

using 1.6.8 I can get stable @1052
using 1.7.0:
   { "id" : 0, "intensity" : 59 , "worksize" : 8, "fragment" : 4, "threads" : 2},

        the same config using various "fragments" :
        ==> 0 = 906 ,1 = 1009 , 2 = 911 , 4 = 1010 , 8 = 1007 , 16 = 1009 , 32 = 1010 , 64 = 1005, 128 = 966

using fragment 4 with "worksize" = 08, various intensity : 59=1011 58=1000 57=997 56=891 55=882 54=886 52=972 48=958
using fragment 4 with "worksize" = 16, various intensity : 59=0908 58=0903 57=897 56=      55=      54=     52=867 48=840
using various "aes", the result is no different, but default/0 more stable

using config suggested here :
   { "id" : 0, "intensity" : 58 , "worksize" : 16, "fragment" : 4, "threads" : 2} = 903
   { "id" : 0, "intensity" : 59 , "worksize" : 8, "fragment" : 4, "threads" : 2}   = 1000

any more suggestion?

Thanks.

which algo is best for you on 1.68 , and what gpu's ?

Right now I am mining haven with 1.68 using gpu:

1. Asus rog  rx 580 8gb ==> 1.7.0 lower hashrate (1010 vs 1050)
2. Sapphire Nitro/Pulse 570/580 8GB ==> 1.7.0 lower hashrate (8xx-9xx vs 9xx-10xx)
3. Sapphire Nitro 470/480 4GB ==> not tested, I think the result will be the same
4. Asus rog rx 480 8gb ==> not tested
5. MSI Gaming 470 4GB ==> not tested
6. XFX 470 4GB ==> not tested

what I like on v1.7.0 is a lot stable compared to 1.6.8, but the hashrate is lower.

Thanks doctor

Hi doctor,

since v1.68 is  the best for my rig, will you in the next release (1.71 maybe) to add an argument to run SRBminer to choose optimization 1 (1.68) , 2 (1.69), 3 (1.7.0), so everybody happy ... can use all program improvements you have made and mining new algos? OR better if you can make combined optimization from 1.68 1.69 1.70 with the best result for all   Smiley Smiley

thanks

just a report

ver 1.7 on my rig reduce my haven hashrate compared to v1.68

for example : on Asus rog rx580 8gb using:

> 1.68 the hashrate started @8xx-9xx and going up stable @1050-1052

> 1.70 the hashrate started @98x/99x/1000 and stable @1010

it is also happen on other 470/480/570/580 from other brand.

so I go back to v1.68

Thanks.
