1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - 1st Stable fork of Ethereum on: January 23, 2018, 05:47:29 PM
Can anyone connect to the MEW Expanse node? I'm just getting Error 33 so cant check my mining balance.

Was using MEW as I really don't really want another wallet with full blockchain as I wont be holding loads of EXP as I don't have that much hashrate and everywhere I've read it seems the official wallet has the same syncing issues that mist has.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRS] Groestlcoin | Segwit activated | Adding Segwit to all our platforms on: November 25, 2017, 10:26:39 PM
Looking for some help. Just getting into GRS, brought some on bittrex and tried to withdraw to my new Electrum wallet. I sent a little test payment and I only have one confirmation in the electrum wallet but 21 confirmations if I look at the transaction on the block explorer.

Is there anything I can do? I've tried changing which server it connects to but still showing payment as unconfirmed.

Click the red circle
untick SSL
save

What do you see now?

Thanks, it was just me being inpatient. It hadn't synced up to the latest block.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting BCC from Bitcoin-Electrum-Wallet for Dummies? on: August 01, 2017, 09:09:08 PM

Not sure where did these guys got their guide from. But generally if you placed all your bitcoins inside private keys before the August 1 split, then you will get BTC and BCC in that private key.

Also, do not trust electron cash, that is a fork from eletrum wallet. Electrum has already denounced that wallet and there is a chance your coins might get stolen as the source is unknown and possible the dev can steal your bcc.

Yep they were all in a private key before the 1st

Guide I followed was from Electrum themselves https://electrum.org/bcc.txt. Moved my BTC to another wallet after the fork so that should be safe. Loaded my original key into Electron cash and expected to see my remaining BCC cash but its empty.

EDIT*

Got my BCH now. Electroncash default server is a BTC (bitcoin) not a BCH (Bitcoin cash) server. Click on the network icon and de-select the "select server automatically" box and select a server on the BCH blockchain ( right click>Use as server) and my BCH have appeared!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting BCC from Bitcoin-Electrum-Wallet for Dummies? on: August 01, 2017, 07:46:55 PM
I've done exactly as you have said but once my BCC wallet has synced ( Electron cash) it has the last transaction in it which was me emptying the wallet so my current balance in my Wallet C is 0.0 BCC Sad

BTC funds were confirmed in Wallet B before I did any of this. All transaction were done today.

Not really sure What I have done wrong atm :/
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.6 (Windows/Linux) on: July 08, 2017, 09:00:35 AM
I'm really struggling to get the miner working on a GTX 980 I have. It was working fine but since trying to use the iGPU to use the computer and mine on the 980 even after DDU and disabling my iGPU so I'm back to how it was I'm getting errors

CUDA error 0 #102 - 46
CUDA error 0 #103 - 46
CUDA error 0 #105 - 46
CUDA error - cannot allocate big buffer for DAG

my bat file, which I run as admin

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool etc-eu1.nanopool.org:19999 -ewal *My-Wallet-Address*.*My-Worker-Name*/*My-E-mail* -epsw x -mode 1

I'm On windows 10

382.53 drivers (Compute performance turned on)
Claymore 9.6

Parameters I have tried changing

-lidag 3
Virtual memory to 16gb
No-Overclock

The card seems totally stable, Can game on it no problem but this miner and Genoil crashes on DAG creation. Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks

I have searched so apologise if this is a noob question, just got a GTX 980 to add to a system with an rx 480 in it. Currently testing it in a separate system that normally runs a 1070 no problem doing the same thing I'm trying to do with the 980 which is boot and use the computer with the iGPU of the CPU and mine on the GPU.

If I boot with the display plugged into the 980 I have no problems but when I'm using the iGPU I get the error "CUDA error: cannot allocate big buffer for DAG"

my bat file, which I run as admin

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool etc-eu1.nanopool.org:19999 -ewal *My-Wallet-Address*.*My-Worker-Name*/*My-E-mail* -epsw x -mode 1

I'm On windows 10

382.53 drivers
Claymore 9.6

Parameters I have tried changing

-gser 2
-lidag 3
Virtual memory to 16gb
No-Overclock

I'm pulling my hair out trying to get this to work ( what little I have left!), I have no problems doing the same thing on the 1070 but the 980 will just not play ball. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to use "-di <GPU #>"
So if your IGP is GPU 0, your 480 card is GPU 1, and your 980 is GPU 2; you need to use "-di 2" to use the 980 only, or "-di 12" to use the 480 and the 980

Tried that earlier with no success, I forgot to say. Not sure what I've down now but I cant mine at all on the 980. That same error "CUDA error: cannot allocate big buffer for DAG"  happens now whether or not I'm plugged into the 980 or not.

Able to log in atm and just withdrew my bitcoin.

Made a deposit of Karma(to test) and that has now been confirmed but markets still paused for maintenance. Seems the wallet side of things are working atm.
