1  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Why are FPGAs less efficient than ASICs in terms of computation? on: October 09, 2022, 04:14:11 AM
The power consumption of an FPGA is higher than an ASIC. The operating frequency is also lower on an FPGA versus an ASIC. Thus it's less efficient.

BAC is a known troll. It can't be your first run-in with him, can it?

He's had these spats with other reputable members. He attacked dooglus a few years ago but seems to have patched that up since then. Let him cool off and figure out on his own that he can't shake you down.

BAC (BayAreaCoins) is a highly trusted member of the bitcoin community. I have dealt with him on several occasions and have zero reason to doubt his integrity.

Gen 5 Glock 19 sold

One S&W Rifle pending sold.

I was the buyer of the Gen 5 Glock 19 from BayAreaCoins for $500 BTC.
He was extremely prompt in contacting my local FFL and handled all of the arrangements to ship the gun.
It arrived in perfect condition with all of the accessories as was expected. It couldn't have been a better experience.

Thank you very much!

Watch Dooglus work on the new CLAM client live: https://www.twitch.tv/dooglus1

Any news on the new client? Thank you.

You can see X, Doog and Conor working on it here: https://github.com/nochowderforyou/clams/commits/2.1.0

We need more volunteer coders contributing code and helping.

Here is the list of shit left to do:

* wallet import testing
* gitian building
* finish updating docs
* check staketo, split, combine, etc
* dust threshold issue  ( Transaction amount too small (0.0000001  < 0.0003)  )

there's still an issue with the dust threshold being too big:
Code:
$ cc2 sendtoaddress xXXxXxxXXXxXxXXXXXxXXXXXXXxxxxxXxX 0.00000001
Transaction amount too small (0.00000001 < 0.0003)

Rally the troops BAC !
