1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NIX - Next gen privacy currency & multi-layered interoperability platform on: June 26, 2019, 11:12:09 AM
I asked yesterday mercatox why they have still maintenance on NIX wallet. Their answer: "NIX is currently on maintenance because we are experiencing a technical issue with it, but be rest assured that our technical department is actively working on fixing it and soon they will be done."

guys won't Idax scam my coins? It's been 10 days for now and still nothing
Mercatox has also NIX wallet maintenance for more than one week, I dont know why it takes so long, I was told on NIX discard that there is no any problem with NIX wallet at all. It should be fine to have at least one functional exchange for NIX trading.

I wouldn't call the Cryptonite (XCN) project successful. The XCN coins are worthless now (1 coin = 12 satoshi).

XCN was created in 2014, with a lot of innovative functions, and it's still working, being maintained and developed after more than 4 years.
The current price may seem low only because it was pumped by the chinese back in june 2017, up to 3000 sat and 3000 BTC daily volume.
I don't call this unsuccesfull, I call it a solid coin, showing new tech that is working as expected.
Unsuccessful is a coin being dropped by their own devs after a few months, like most of the coins that are created everyday.

Sorry, but I dont call XCN a solid coin, if there is no value of coins and there is none bigger exchange with this coin after 4 years of development. It is fine you are still developing XCN but it seems there is nothing new what this coin can offer and to be more interesting. Maybe because of this, we have now SUQA? Who knows...

Coming from a newbie account, those comments are rich ...

Remember who you are talking to when you comment in that prose, as Pallas has been in this industry longer than you can imagine, has implemented more than you can bother to research, and has done more for the OpenSource Community than you are making out. Just because he is the Lead Developer for XCN and one of the the Developers or SUQA does NOT mean he is juggling one against the other as you inferred. In fact, most of the LEGENDARY positioned 'players' in this industry are the ones you REALLY need to take into account and listen to, as these are the people that have been around and worked more INSIDE the CryptoIndustry than you could imagine. I know, I am one.

I guess it is the way Crypto is going unfortunately, with the lack of education and knowledge by those that think they know it all. Even after Pallas explained to you, you continue on your merry way to restate what you already said.

Amazing!

XCN to this day still has tech that others have yet to even scrape the surface, so when you can actually MAKE better, we would all like to see your amazing remarks about what YOU have created and whether someone berates you in the same fashion. Just be mindful that there is little in this industry that can be called your own. So when you say 'sorry', actually BE sorry and not say it for the sake of just pushing your point again, of which is pretty much moot anyway.

#crysx

Haha, my account is maybe a newbie account, but I'm here registered longer than you and in cryptoworld for long time, I only dont need to comment everything like you and respond to attacks like yours. So calm down boy.

Changed the colateral for a hepta MN will be 1777 HEPTA COIN, thanks.
And after next week, it will be 3000 HEPTA for 1 MN. It is time to leave this SCAM project.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Verus (VRSC) - zk-SNARK privacy, CPU-mining, 50/50 POW/POS, fair launch on: June 05, 2018, 08:17:51 AM
That is all good and dandy, but 2 years is way too much. I would understand a couple of months, so people can really get interested in the coin. But possibly 2 years and on random? The random part is what mostly bothers me. Also, it is not a good investment to invest into mining something now and get it in 2 years when who knows where the devs or the community will be. And hell no 3USD for this coin at this point is little. It is actually waaaay overpriced at 3USD. In 4 days with 1 of my PCs I mined 2 big blocks, so by your logic I would have made if I had the coins now about 2100USD. And that is low in your opinion when with full blown 1080ti rig you cant get even 10% of that in any coin? Cheesy That is just silly.

And how would anyone stake right now if they didn't mine in the first week of releasing the coin? How many people besides the devs and their friends got into this on the very first day? Some, but I bet not much. And in no universe is 15 minutes a fair-lunch Cheesy. That is just silly talk. That's not a fair start at all. So while real miners have their coins locked, all the devs are happily making more verus from POW. That is just bad, really bad.

And to your other point to wait until the block reward drops to 96. Are you suggesting for miners to wait 2 years before mining this coin Cheesy

You guys had some good ideas, but this "RANDOM" time lock currency is just made for the devs to make money until the real miners wait for some random day in the next 2 years when they might possibly receive some reward if the coin still exists.

Fake coin is fake. Some people just see something new and think its the next Internet or something. "Hey look, a time-locked currency. Haven't tried that before". Wish you all good luck and any real miners that got into this and already have unlocked coins, duuuuuuuump while this still has some "value"

I completely agree.

Is there any parameter how to run the wallet which automatically starts mining with defined number of threads? I think I would be useful, at least for me, I could put the command in Startup on windows.

This coin will die if the dev is not more active and talk to the community.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CHEAT] Cheatcoin - new cryptocurrency on: January 08, 2018, 02:28:51 PM
I'm probably asking a very stupid question here, but i'm  new to mining and I'd like to know, is there an ETA on when will this coin appear on an exhange? I mean when will I be able to trade it for other coins? Thank you.

No definite ETA atm I think... There's still much to do Roll Eyes

Alright thank you. Guess I'll stop at 1k coins or so. Any other CPU minable coin you know about? Have looked YenTen but main page looks too shabby

Try ZOIN

More than 160 years.)

Yeah I know the fee is the same on all pools, i'm not blind. But this is only the way how to force people to move to other pools if there will be lower fee than on Khaak pool. People don't care about centralization and decentralization, money always talks.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CHEAT] Cheatcoin - new cryptocurrency on: January 06, 2018, 01:15:06 PM
xruben decrease the fee and miners will switch to your pool
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: December 12, 2017, 08:22:51 AM
hi,
I have configured the hub workers and now I'm mining with auto exhange turned on, but please tell me where I can see the activity of hub workers (need to know if some of worker stop mining and need to be restarted).
Thx

What is the main purpose of this coin? I don't see any usage except gathering coins from high percents of deposit and decreasing coin value because there is no block halving and no plans for the future.

how can I fix this?

The same problem on my computer. I'm using the flag -optimineravx2=1.
Windows 7, 64bit roi wallet, Intel i7-4790

Try no flags and see what happens.

Then try only using 1 flag: -optimineraes=1

I doubt your I7 can support -optimineravs2=1

My processor definitely supports AVX2, I mined Zoin with AVX2 and no problem.
