I am totally confused with this initial coin offer thing on bitterx now. don't we have the fix price for ico coin and bitterx is the only seller? If this is ico, who is selling all those coins right now?
|
|
|
I don't quite understand this ico things. I am seeing the coin is trading on bittrex, do we have coin yet?

I have been involved in this coin for a while. there r two things bothering me. The first is that blockchain keep growing at a fast pace than I expected. I understand this is uniquely caused by cn protocol. I am just wondering any hero devs has ever tried to think about a solution for this issues. The second is about mining. botnet problem is happening right now, I guess, since the profit of mining this coin is obvious. r u worry this issue will become worse when the coin become more popular, even the possibility of 51 attack may be a true threat.

what is x45? sound great, maybe a scam. keep watching

Is bosman the dev who startup this project? By far, the roadmap for this coin is not clear, really hope the team can think through what they want to bring to the field. See, we all know there is great potential here in crypto currency and there r a lot of problem here and now. Any attempts to fix problem and push forward could have a share of investment and attention. otherwise there is no point to fight in, Changing the way of IPO just is not enough.
Hopefully , build the team and form the vision

The following is quoted from ducknotes thread, since I am not mining other coin except xmr, I hope someone do mine all three coins to confirm the comparison below or make comment on that:
For those who can`t see differences from other cryptonote coins - look at source code, check % of orphans in the network, check % of "bad shares" on pools, you will see that duckNote is a winner. Like
24 hours of mining with the same mining software and hardware gives: 4% of bad shares on Monero 2% of bad shares on Bytecoin 0.5% of bad shares on duckNote.
Orphans in above networks 6/2/1.

I found easy miner on your web page, http://monero.crypto-pool.fr/#getting_started. it is really easy one and I like it. I started mining with it and it generated an address for me which by now has a few coins in. But I am quite confused, who is owning this address by far ,because I found when I install wallet ,it will generate another address for me. how and who is owing this address? it is so confusing with this easy miner !!! Oh I see : Upon starting for the first time it will run simplewallet to generate a new address (with a default wallet password of x). The user can then input a pool host & port, select how many CPU cores they want to use, the click Start Mining. So yeah basically, it run simplewallet and create a personal wallet with the password x. You can run simplewallet to open your wallet, you need to specify the name of the wallet "wallet.bin" and passord "x" when asked. CryptoNote-Easy-Miner use simpleminer to mine but it is really slow. When you are more comfortable, you should switch to a better miner. will u make Easy-miner to use multiple miner , it is really convenient for someone like me , Thanks !! It will definitely bring in more miner to your pool

I am using the easyminer for windows which can automatically generate the address. By it is mining fine, but I am confused with this auto-generated address. How would I get access to those coin I mined? should I install a wallet? If I install a new wallet? will the wallet generate another address? or this easyminer already has a build-in wallet? Dudes, please help me out here, thanks in advance!!!
Where did you find this easy miner for windows ? Where is the source ? EDIT : I've seen you post on the main thread. Yes you need a wallet. I do not use the easyminer. The latest GUI wallet I know can be found here. Or you can use the normal wallet following this tutorial. The ability to create an asset, distribute pieces of it to various parties, then pay distributions/dividends on profit or income to the pieces of said asset, as shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyzA5Lj1ajMis there any further discussion on comparison of all these so call bitcoin 2.0, could give us a thorough understand the potential of these coins , thanks

Dividends are possible as a third-party service running on top of NXT right now, and will be in the core of NXT in the coming month. Dividends are naturally paid in NXTs (because NXT is the accounting unit), and NXT AE runs on NXT network, so those two red checkboxes are irrelevant for NXT, but sure look good for XCP marketing Thanks very much for the explanation. I am new to both xcp and nxt and would like to understand more details of pros and cons for both coins. Is that ture nxt is now so over valued and the initial distribution is as flaw as mastercoin?

So this is something like closed p2p ebay with built up payment mechanism? Looks decent, but if I am not mistaken there already is a Bitcoin, ebay and TOR network. Those probably offer much more then your current project.
Are you serious? silkroad charges 6% per item sold. TOR is not a completely decentralized network and it is slow. The server the web files are hosted on can be taken down anytime. TOR blackmarket is not the solution, a p2p completely decentralized market IS the solution. Whether it be Maskcoin or OpenBazzar, I don't care, what i do care about is the fact that the marketplace is 100% decentralized and anonymous. As far as i now, OpenBazzar is not quite a full p2p solution. You still need to "connect" to "stores". You are still browsing remote computers. Also does not have an integrated payment method. It uses Bitcoin for payments. There are also rumors that it is not going to be released anytime soon : "None of its original creators want to work on it any more, with their own projects taking up the majority of their time, and so it is left to the community to continue the coding. " When you put a new item for sale on MaskNetwork, a packet is broadcasted and all nodes will update their local database. When you browse a store, you are not browsing a REMOTE location, you are browsing YOUR COMPUTER. Only when you click "Buy", the payment transaction is broadcasted. That means 100% anonymity for those who sell. As a seller, you don't need a hosting / computer. You just add your product to the distributed ledger and wait for orders. it sounds like a good idea. Would u mind share some information about the team behind the projects? at least some key information , ex: how many of u , what background and what projects have your team involved before? Thanks

Tell me: on what planet has a coin ever succeeded that had a premine over 3%? Because not on Earth. This piece of crap has a 6.5% premine. Odds it has a future: 0%
Thanks MEGA, for keeping the post active! is that sure that the premine is over 3% ? Please clarify it and there is already rumor going around in chinese forum, it is serious
|
|
|
hi, I think the devs need to make a official statement to clarify the premine accusation. As investors, no many of us have looked into the details , we are confusing now, and in chinese forum , there are some rumors starting spreading around, please take it seriously , this is a good coin, let's work together to support it

ETA on Anon Tor wallet and Coinrecycler into wallet
same question? any words on it ??
|
|
|
how far this coin could go? now the price is already high, without real innovation in application or other tipping point among market demand, it is hard to see that this way of marketing could really work in a even middle term?
