For me there is not much difference.
Аs AMD and Intel has both advantages and disadvantages. For example, AMD has a lower price with the same performance, but the “tops” of AMD in each segment is at least 2-10%, but slower than similar CPU from Intel.

In Venezuela, the revolution has been rattling for almost a month now, despite the multimillion-dollar riots of citizens and the appointment of a new provisional government. Maduro stubbornly clings to power. All this is accompanied by a humanitarian catastrophe, the population is completely impoverished and on the verge of starvation, and the dictator is blocking supplies of humanitarian aid to the country. The vast majority of military Venezuela still maintain neutrality, not supporting any of the parties, but it will not last that long. The pressure on the Venezuelan military is increasing as it approaches February 23, when a massive supply of humanitarian aid to the country is scheduled. Even presidents from a number of Latin American states are ready to come to the border of Colombia and Venezuela to monitor and control the process. Yesterday Trump turned to the Venezuelan army and demanded that she not interfere with the movement of the convoys with help. At the same time, there are constantly reports of negotiations with the highest command of the Venezuelan army. Also on February 23, aid from Russia should arrive in the amount of 300 tons, but this is a drop in the ocean. British billionaire Richard Branson organized the concert of the famous Bob Geldof. The collected money is planned to spend on humanitarian assistance to the people of Venezuela. The main question is what will happen on February 23. If, nevertheless, humanitarian aid starts to come in, then how exactly the Venezuelan army will behave - this is the main uncertainty. Formally, she will have to execute Maduro's orders, but will she? And if so, how will the neighbors of Venezuela behave?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Best Multicurrency Cryptocurrency Wallets on: February 17, 2019, 09:19:06 PM
With the development of the cryptocurrency market, the issue of their storage has become urgent. Regular wallets guarantee a high degree of security, but are completely devoid of convenience. A universal solution is required, which will combine both convenience and security of electronic money storage. This solution was quickly found. You are not taking into consideration the people that live in cities, but not the "top 20" cities. I live in the Denver Metropolitan area. The area is rated 21st in population in US. With well over 2 million people, I would hardly consider this a "rural" area.
I did a recount, taking into account the 123 largest cities by population of China, given even the population of the suburbs, about to reach 450 million

When the world hit 10 billion, you will have a legit problem. Food. Where will the food come from?

Pollution cleanup will not help with the food supply.

Because of all these, i am beginning to believe 500million is all the earth need. Just like what was written on the Stone in Georgia.

If you include seasteading, along with pollution clean-up, we are looking at a world that can handle 100 billion.

Cool

You can grow all your own food in your apartment using modern techniques. We don't really need farmland. The oceans can be made to grow more than enough food to feed 100 billion. We have the technology to build apartments many levels down as well as many levels up. Living on the oceans and making submersed apartments on floating islands, makes it so that we could actually go far beyond 100 billion. And that is without the global warming it would take to grow more plants and open up Northern Canada, Siberia, Antarctica, the Sahara and other deserts, for habitation and farmland.

Cool
If you take into account the warming, it is not exactly a positive impact on living conditions. With the complete thawing of glaciers, the level of the world ocean will increase by 60 meters, which will mark the coastal zone of the continents. The amount of fresh water in the world will also decrease significantly. The number of natural disasters will increase significantly. Hurricanes, typhoons and tornadoes will take thousands of lives, which will complicate the construction of buildings on the water mirror.

Over the past 200 years, the population has grown by 6 billion, but is it really so? Let's see! Take China, for example, which is one of the first countries in the world in terms of population. According to official data, China is home to almost 1.5 billion people. However, if we sum up, manually, the population of the country's 20 largest cities, it will increase by 250 million. The situation is similar in India. The 20 largest megacities are home to only 75 million people. At the same time, we are confident that only 1.4 billion people live in India. Is it doubtful that more than a billion people live in rural areas?! Let's look at Russia, 8 years ago in 2010, one of the employees of the Moscow Registry office, talked about the falsity of the official statistics of Moscow. Saying it's exaggerated by more than 50 million. The girl gave all the evidence of their allegations, but was fired. The land has a limited amount of resources for which there is competition and many actions are justified. And although there is evidence that our planet can safely withstand and feed 25, not 7 billion people. the myth of overpopulation facilitates deception and justifies poverty in many countries.
7  Other / Politics & Society / Mining causes global warming?! on: December 07, 2018, 05:15:04 PM
Hawaiian scholars argue that cryptobinary can heat the atmosphere by 2 degrees in just ten years. According to them, 69 million metric tons of CO2 appeared in the atmosphere in 2017 due to mining, and if nothing changes, the atmosphere will heat up by 2 degrees Celsius in the next two decades. This is a catastrophic indicator that can lead to a global environmental disaster.
what do you think about this?
is it worth thinking about it?

What conditions are needed for profitable production?
And, do you know what place is best for all these items? Space!
1. Cheap electricity (preferably free). according to rough estimates, mining leaves of 1100 MW or 9636 GW⋅h (0,829, MTA) per year.
2. In space, low temperatures, which greatly facilitates the cooling of the system.
3. There is a lot of space and there are no taxes and rules yet.
And test this idea is not so difficult. It is enough to take a small mining farm to the ISS and see what happens. And in the distant future, perhaps, they will build entire orbital cities for mining.
How about that?
Do you think it can be implemented in the near future?

mining in space can indeed support because of low temperatures, but what about electricity?
That is still a problem because outside space there is no kind of electricity generation yet, for regulation, I don't think it needs to be considered because outer space is a free zone of exploration
electricity in space can be produced from solar radiation. the international space station is currently using Solar energy. Like Earth, the station is about 149 million kilometers away from the nearest star. At this distance, it is possible to extract more than a kilowatt of energy from each square meter. Energy at the station is collected by solar panels, which use the photoelectric effect to produce electricity directly.

Buddy, I think you're watching too many popular science movies. There are people who really believe that space does not exist, that all orbital stations are hangars for filming movies and that the earth is flat. It seems to me that the idea of mining in space is from about the same sphere. But I really had a good laugh-thank you!

although you don't share my idea, I'm glad I made you feel better.
