Pretty sure that most of the miners out there, they just sold their GPUs and left crypto all together. The true and devoted ones are the ones which are either mining at a loss or sold their farms in exchange for some BTC or ETH.
Regarding a price crash? I am pretty sure we bottomed out on the 13th when we hit the low $3k's and ETH hit $80 yearly support. How low are you expecting BTC to go? You won't see $1K BTC anytime soon. Stock market can crash all it wants but most likely BTC will trade sideways.
It is just your guess that is not supported with any data or reasonable argument. The same way I can say that BTC will go to 0, try to prove me wrong. |

Has it ever been established what chips are in these s19's. Is it not possible that these are still 7nm BM1397? Whatsminer is getting 86 th out of the 8nm?
I highly doubt that those are 5nm chips. Just look at the dimensions, it is much larger than the s17, so I believe they put larger amount of 7nm chips and run them on lower voltage (therefore the lower w/TH). |

So my Ryzen 5 3600 stock, is doing 6100 h/s with 16gb 2400 MHz (4 sticks) on XMRig-4.3.1 beta.

Been out of the loop for a while and didn't realize that it was also GPU mineable. Looking at the scores it seems to be really CPU friendly.
I got some old single core Sempron and Celeron processors from the Litecoin days, anyone know what speeds you can expect with those ? Seems that the RX series is onpare to the other GPUs like with most other algos.
Regarding the CPU abuse, I think most weren't rented VPS or AWS but these were some infected botnet computers which mined in the background for unsuspecting people. This is actually the reason why they switched the algo originally from the original one that the coin was released in. Wonder how it will perform this time around.

I have a similar situation as you. But honestly, I do not see a point in buying a more efficient gear with mined BTC. There is no way, the new gear will ever earn me the same amount of BTC that I had to pay for it. Therefore I am waiting for post halving prices and I might buy some new S17.

and on the 20+ PH rentals have been:

What was the amount of time you had run that 20+ PH rental? |
