Updated source, exchanges and block explorer.
Hi Dev Team, Is this project active? The website seems not working or not update. REgards, DJ We're working on bringing the website back online and updating the wallets for some recent updates. To resync your current wallets, make sure you add the following nodes to sync quickly: addnode=76.95.178.229:17040 addnode=185.25.60.199:17020 addnode=115.236.88.86:17020 addnode=82.127.22.82:22556 addnode=108.170.128.153:22566 addnode=81.247.97.112:22566 addnode=47.204.230.40:22556 addnode=95.88.15.7:56939 addnode=52.91.2.80:41938 addnode=45.79.186.226:17020 addnode=82.200.205.30:58244 addnode=100.38.112.175:17020

Next Network Block 100137 (Current: 100136)
Looks like RBBT has halved.
Devs are still here?
This is correct, we sure have! We're still here, planning a new client release for next week. We're keeping up to date on Twitter, make sure to follow us there

RBBT is falling all the way down? Is it going to rise again? There is no any Buy order only sell order, Looks like fucked up as CENT. is there any planning to rise it back or developer are sleeping after making some money?
a) We're still here, just been working behind the scenes a bit on some things (payment integrations, etc) b) We've made zero money on RabbitCoin; just because you're the developer, doesn't mean anything. We had no premine and we give all of the RBT we mine personally away to faucets, giveaways, etc. The coins that have been donated also move only into these ventures. If we were doing this for money, we would have done things much differently. Some people just have fun with projects

Block explorer has been dead for multiple days, can you please fix it!
Should be back up and running and should recover on its own now from python/ABE exiting randomly.

Remove all your selling if you want to get profit. Stupid guys are selling very low price.
+1 The coin is dead . bad launch bad support bad planning bad block reward bad social ! you can't do anything . People don't want to Deceive themselves Not sure how you think our launch or support were bad. We've had one of the fairest launches I can remember. Our team has gained nothing from this coin but headaches and grief but were still working on things.

TO EVERYONE WHO ARE USING OUR EXCHANGE ADDRESS TO WITHDRAW COINS FROM POOLS PLEASE UPDATE THE ADDRESS AS WE HAVE SWITCHED THE SERVER AND THE ADDRESS YOU ARE USING MAY BELONG TO THE OLD SERVER. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE OLD SERVER WILL NO LONGER BE ACTIVE IN 3 DAYS WE THEN WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR COINS. https://pmtocoins.com Thanks for the heads up, we will send out a tweet for people to be aware

any rabbitcointeam member here?Let's talk about the next plan! We are chinese,a lot of people are intersted in rabbitcoin here.We love it and we mine it. Let's do some real useful staff to make it bigger.
We're hard at work on some integration points with a partner of ours who is developing an altcoin purchasing layer for online shopping; when they launch, we will be one of the first supported coins. To prepare for that, we're making some improvements to our systems infrastructure for things like transaction tracking and purchase audits. A lot of stuff in the backend, but important for supporting their systems design. We're also working with a few new people who will be working on giveaways, social interaction and PR as this simply isn't our forte. We think this will help get more exposure while we focus on bringing new technology and integrations. In the meantime, we're looking for someone who enjoys running social media to join our team. Please PM or email us rabbitcointeam@gmail.com if you'd be interested in helping. We've also been communicating with some other exchanges and sites such as coinwarz / coinmarketcap to drive more awareness to our site. More news when we hear anything. More updates as we can release them.

DEV, contact coinmarketcap to get us on the list!
We have already, thanks! Added a few more pools; new wallet update in the next day or so. Adding our own faucet shortly and focusing on a lot more promotions / giveaways to get our name out there!
|
|
|
We've added more destinations to the seed node, that should help sync for people without .conf files loaded.
Updating a few new pools as well.
New wallet build coming early in the week to fix a few minor UI issues (sync icons / messaging), non-mandatory.

I would be willing to pitch in to the dev to pay the bounty of .25 btc to get on cryptorush. I am sure we could get others to donate as well.
We've added the donations addresses to the OP. Thanks!

Ulnfortunately the devs don't seem at all interested in actively getting onto exchanges. They're relying on the community to vote and tweet the exchanges until they add RBBT. Doesn't work quite that easily unfortunately.
Hashrate is already dropping. It needs to be on a decent exchange very soon, or the coin will be effectively dead. I don't think the devs realise this - all of their posts are about meaningless topics.
I'd love to hear suggestions on how you think we should go about this. I've created all the relative links and correct channels to get listed on exchanges. I've also emailed all the exchange operators explaining our coin, our team and the basics of our development roadmap. Am I missing something? We can't force people into listing us. We are doing everything we are supposed to for you guys. Also things like paying to get on cryptorush or buying votes for mintpal are just not feasible for us. We had zero premine and are making nothing financially from this at this point. I did actually send some btc from my personal account to pad the mintpal voting a bit for rabbit. If I'm missing something, please let me know. I'll happily do whatever is in my power to do.

We've added an address to the OP to use for promotions / bounties. RNuFRV61UsNUeVbb3oGghEmxfXbPSTm2Nc Feel free to send whatever you can and let us know who you are so we can add you to our Donations page which we will get on our site this weekend. Thanks everyone! We'll get some bounties going as soon as we can.
|
|
|
That's the problem with 0% premine coins. There's no coins for bounties for anything. It's hard to get anything done if the dev has nothing to incentivize community dev.
Very true. We even received hate PMs for our 'block #1 premine' Can't make everyone happy.

the wallet works fine, im using it on Mavericks, only problem im having is syncing it, was fine yesterday and this morning... but now it wont sync. I moved the conf file in as per the read me, but still not syncing any more - how do i do this node thing
If you edit the .conf file in a text editor, you'll replace the existing addnode lines with the ones listed above. Save the file and restart the wallet client.

Mac wallet is not working. It does not even start.
Wallet should work for 10.7+ ; tested on 10.7, 10.8 and Mavericks. Check your debug.log in /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/RabbitCoin/ and let us know if there's anything odd happening there. Thanks.
