when booting what node name i have to write?
You can write any name you want. However, ideally you would write your own name. get error 601 cant boot local node ,any help? Please join #ournem IRC channel for live helpdesk support. looks good. It is even more professional than other coins with this help service. ;-) |

This is all food for thought when we consider where to place our efforts in this platform. I have been banging the mobile drum the whole time and will continue to do so. When you can "bump" your phone with your buddy to get him/her back for the beer they got you or whatever, people will use it like crazy. Look, even if you don't replace fiat, if folks can use it in leiu of fiat while out clubbing or whatever and deal with the back conversion at home it will be huge. Much easier than fussing with your bank or cash or whatever while you our out. How often do people have to track the IOUs while out with friends? Who doesn't have a mobile? Solve that problem with tools already in the toolkit and it will jump in value against fiat as its usefulness as a "wooden nickel" system becomes obvious. I think grass roots is much more likely to succeed in this particular aspect as opposed to some sort of "forced" centralized big bank approach (the discussion earlier about Amazon's p2p currency) because it feels lax which is perfect for a "social" currency. What are you guys doing?you are making too much of this and continuing the sock puppet debate because of what.6 measly accounts and a few socks on another coin?. That utopian future was more than happy with the stakeholder list. Your going to go through all this shit again?haven't you got better things to do...your just pissing folk off that's now spent half a year interested in this project.get a life. A final stakeholder list should be final in my opinion.and no I haven't got any NEM yet in case you ask. I just see it pissing off the community. tbh I don't mind the community doing a little digging - in fact I welcome it - unless it starts to turn into a which hunt again. Please don't consider any results from NODE until they have a final list. Also if you think you found something plz don't go around and start spreading FUD. The recasting feature of NTX coin seems very interesting. NTX is a Chinese branch of NXT.
RECASTING Feature: Prevents the inflation of the block chains and makes the anonymity of the coin untraceable. Recycle some lost forever coins after a few rounds of recasting.
Will NEM include such features? If not, is it possible to add RECASTING feature to NEM?
I think it is a good feature which will definitely benefit NEM. Devs should consider to add this feature to NEM. |

Good job, the newest progress of the major issue: we made progress on this issue. It is partially linked to the (new created) ticket https://sourceforge.net/p/exocoin/tickets/31/but thats not the full solution. The full(hopefully!) solution is working now in theory and will be programmed as soon as possible (1-3 days with testing). More information on this issue soon. news also from the mac client development: "set up mac osx mavericks 10.9 -> basic developement environment established -> currently working on the first successfull build (console and basic gui without html views as for now) new status should be reached within 24 hours" It's good news buddy. Thanks to keep up updated. Keep up your good work and I believe EXO will be a great success soon. |

in the case Chancecoin seems to be broken at the very moment - it's my fault. Unexpected maintenance on the server which CHA uses for a subset of all blockchain related queries. This may affect unspent outputs and balances.
I expect it to be finished in about 6-8 hours.

it would probably take about 10 weeks to find a block with only 5000 nxt. that block could have up to 1000 nxt in it if someone registered an asset, but most likely it would have between 0 and 25 nxt. *edit* forging will not be profitable until the demand for space in blocks exceeds the supply. How many NXT do you think will make worthy profit for forging? at this point in time forging is not like mining. its not a thing where you can hope to make a profit. its something that people who own stake do because they want their stake to retain its value and the network must be secure inorder for it to do this. also if you own stake anyway, you may as well forge and make the little money that you can. the point is that its not a "gold mine" like with POW cryptos. now in the future this could change as demand for space in the blockchain exceeds the supply of space but we arnt there yet. OK, it makes sense for the answers. I hope I can have many stakes like you so that the forging will make profits everyday. |

A little offtopic:
i updated the NXT client to 1.1.4 and checked if i received my NEM stake token. And it was right there. But in the right upper corner you have ´send nxt´ and ´send message´.
It seems that these are two separate things. Is it possible to send nxt coins with a message attached to it? (Like an invoice number).
no i dont think so.. you will be able to i think.. but not yet! Looks like NXT client is still under developing for asset advanced functions? |

Ethereum will launch Q4 2014. The proof of concept clients are available and are now on their 5th release. The Ether presale has not been announced yet. Thank you It is too long to wait. I dont think Ether would be successful because everything is changing so fast especially in this high tech Century. |

Ok but then this is news. Until recently the word was that it will be in Q4.
Also i am not sure how i feel about investing in one month and receiving something in Q4 and then being restricted from selling it for XX months
I can only say what was told to people last night. Maybe there is some confusion over when you can invest and when you can actually use Ethereum because that's Q4. I'm pretty sure you can still sell, but you can't use ether so you would sell your investment rather than your actual ether. If that makes sense. As an investment it's going to be very risky for a lot of reasons. I'll be interested to see what they put together for the actual offer. So, how can I sell it? any exchange available at that time? |

Please dont complain with DEVs. There are working so hard for the coin. I dont receive many coins only 1000, but I believe they are trying their best to find a solution. If I dont receive the coin anymore, I wont complain since it is free anyway.

Mainet will go live Q4 2014
So will the Ether bought by investors at IPO be frozen until Q4 2014? Won't investors be able to trade ether until then? Will the ethereum economy be frozen until the Mainet goes live? Correct, what people would be buying is actual Ether, not testnet Ether, therefore what is purchased would be listed on exchanges/tradeable only at the start of the mainnet in Q4. Cheers! That's a long time. Especially when the initial date was 1st of February. Time is money. How can a coin plan this long time? Just dont like EMU which has been delayed much time and lost many fans. |
