1  Economy / Collectibles / Escrow in the Western half of the US on: August 27, 2025, 10:45:05 PM
I may be selling a collectible with escrow and I'm willing to travel to the Escrow agent for finalization. I've spoken with one potential escrow party already but they're a bit far for me. Wondering if there are any reputable escrow agents from this forum that are in the Western half of the US? If not, I will just settle for the longer flight to the person I've spoken to already, but figured it's worth asking here.

Thanks

Yes but I've been told my asking price of 1.5 btc is unrealistic, at least for selling through this forum as I'm told this is more of a wholesale marketplace. But if you're interested at 1.5 btc it is available.

I'm posting this on behalf a party that doesn't have a bitcointalk account. He and I will be at Bitcoin 2025 in Vegas at the end of this month & he is hoping to sell his coin for cash at that event but is also willing to sell it before or after. He has informed me that the coin is ungraded & not in great condition. I can't speak for him as far as price, but I know he is motivated & may even take at or near face value for it. The caveat here is that he only wants cash for it.

I also have a graded 2011 series 1 Error coin for sale. I am looking to get a decent price for mine, but I will accept cash or bitcoin for it. I will entertain offers but probably won't sell it for less than 1.25 btc just FYI.

You can see my post with pics & more info on my coin(s) here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5537093.msg65236120#msg65236120

I don't have pics yet of the other party's coin.

Changed my settings so you should be able to message me now.

I'd want minimum 1.5 btc for the error coins. If I did an auction that's what I'd set the reserve at. If they didn't sell I'd be content with hanging onto them as I don't absolutely need the money right now.

Not sure about the non-error series 2, might take 1.25 for it. Would probably set the reserve somewhere around 1.2ish.

willing to assist with escrow if needed.

Thank you. Where are you located & would you accept an in-person drop off?

Unless they restarted recently, ANACS discontinued their services of grading physical bitcoin.

I did not know that, thank you. I guess I will have to look at ICG or PCGS.

Hello, I'm considering selling one or more of my unredeemed Casascius coins so I'm posting here to see what kind of interest there is. Both are the series 1 error coins & I've posted pics for both below. Willing to sell individually or separately. If there is enough interest I may start an auction, but I do have a minimum amount that I'm looking to get for it/them.

I also have a 2011 series 2 that I will entertain offers for but it isn't graded yet. I will be submitting it to ANACS for grading on April 13th and will create a separate post for it if I decide to sell.

I'm in Arizona, USA and willing to travel to meet in person (within the US) or do an escrow. If escrow is elected I will probably travel to drop off the coin to escrow in person. I really don't' like the idea of shipping.

I'm seeking a consistent supply of between $10K to $50k USD per week at 1.5% above spot, settled in cash in person once a month or so.

Rather than go into lengthy description, here is the deal:

  • Yes, I know this is going to be very difficult to find. I know, I've been searching for consistent supply for 5 years.
  • Q: What have I been doing for supply for the past 5 years? A: Hustling daily, but my business is growing
  • Yes, this is a newbie account. I created a throwaway account because my other account would very easily identify me personally.
  • Must be in the US (Preferably Southwest) so that I can fly & settle in cash in person
  • This will be escrowed or even multisig with a written contract & full KYC
  • I have collateral options. To be discussed if a serious seller surfaces.
  • In addition to full KYC & Collateral, I am also known by many in the industry. It would be nearly impossible for me to pull a scam.

Post any additional questions & inquiries here & I'll reply.

Thanks
