Hopefully all your patience will pay off properly, I think you are one of the lucky ones behind all those who have suffered a great loss this year. Let's wait for the following year and hope the market will give us happiness.

Don't let the market give you happiness. A lot of people put too much stock on the market, and end up getting hurt.

I think a lot of this frustration comes from people really wanting to use crypto solely as an investment, instead of for the awesome utility the tech offers. It's a fascinating and incredibly powerful tool, more people should hop on that bandwagon, I think.

I imagine the utility of bitcoin will last forever, but not its value as a speculative investment. Blockchain will be valuable for many years to come, I think, and Bitcoin is the biggest name in that space. Excited to see what people do with it. Not convinced it's a solid 10-20 year investment though.

My grandfather, a banker in the 70s & 80s, always told me: "Money can't buy happiness, but it can damn well rent it". Don't know if I agree entirely but I will say, the least stressful periods in my life were when my bank account was full.

I think the picture is a little bigger. A lot of this has to do with internal feelings about external stimuli.

I recently heard about a study in which found people who had perceived social support, regardless of the size of their social group, were happier.
A similar study looked at wealth and income. Folks who felt they had enough income to take care of themselves were much happier, regardless of how much money they actually made.
All this to say, feelings of envy, desire, jealousy, insecurity, usually are a result of how you perceive the world around you, not necessarily the actual things in your life.

I work in the VR Esports industry and I honestly don't like it that much, haha. The best experience I've had with VR was visiting my old home in Google Earth, that's about it. It's a little overwhelming, VR games, and kind of exhausting. Pokémon, on the other hand, I can play endlessly . . .

Even if you lost money if you are still holding good coins like bitcoin and ethereum then you did well, now do not make the mistake of dropping your holdings now that we are closer to a recovery, even if I do not think a recovery will happen soon the worst has already passed, the price has not much room to go any lower and now the potential profits are enormous for anyone with the courage to buy now.

I've noticed a lot of people looking at blockchain as more of a tool with measurable utility than an investment platform. That might impact values quite a bit, at least until people realize they can be both.
