Correct during our mapping of the core foundation for this project we did in fact consider that as a possibility. As outlined in our paper. Each individual who maintains active on the network will be included in our profit sharing plan and paid out a monthly amount just for being a part of the network. So as long as they are active on the platform they are earning a passive income even if they go unused. This is a win-win situation for both the owner and the user.
@howudewin It’s no different than hosting an Airbnb or being an Uber driver. Both of these concepts were originally dismissed by many potential initial investors because they assumed people would have issue with sharing such intimate spaces. We believe and recent history has shown that the future will be a shared one.
In the case of privacy and knowing if a user has paid, the app will work as follows. It will not directly show a users location and/or address when they initially search. It will show a general radius on a map of where an EV is positioned and a picture of the home and EV charger. The driver will then select his desired location and initiate a payment. Immediately after the payment is initiated, the charger owner will receive a notification to their phone and have the option of accepting or denying. If accepted the user will then be given the address and directions to that particular charging point. Both users and owners will have a rating system, bio, and reviews log to help them know more about who is planning to use their location.
The developers do not skip a beat every aspect has been thought out in advance.
