1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BiteBTC Exchange Launched! on: April 09, 2019, 10:12:39 AM
Dear Traders,

We are currently exploring relationships with the previous owners of the company that ran the BiteBTC exchange.
The previous owners sold all the rights to the exchange to the new owner, the Seychelles company First Finance LLC, however, for reasons unknown to us, they now decided to declare that they had never been involved in BiteBTC activities.
We have not yet figured out the reasons for this act and are trying to get in touch with the previous owners in order to resolve this situation in the pretrial order.
Unfortunately, the work of bitebtc.com at this time is intermittent and we ask all traders to treat this with understanding.
All balances are intact on cold wallets, all servers are working normally.
We plan to return to normal operation by the end of the week.

Thank you for the patience.

Fire accident and new/old owner.

what the new story will be ?
2  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BiteBTC Exchange Launched! on: March 12, 2019, 03:40:18 PM

You never mentioned any thing about fiat in the "Coin Redistribution",

how do you expect people remember what was the amount do they have exchanged to fiat before the "fire" ?

Even I do have the record, what is the txid you need of fiat ?

Can I give you the amount now ?

Dear Traders,

Today, some traders’ accounts were credited with fiat deposits in USD and CNY made before the Fire incident, which we were able to identify using Bank accounts statements.
In total, about 6.1% of the fiat accounts suffered from the fire and today we have restored these funds.

Fiat Deposits Statistics:
USD: $2.103.300 credited, $602.500 left
CNY: 4.492.000 credited, 1.539.200 left

As usual, withdrawals are available in your personal account.

Some deposits were left without crediting, because some of the traders who lost their accounts did not re-register them with the same e-mail and KYC data that they used before the fire.
We are ready to refund these fiat deposits as well.
To do this, trader needs to re-register an account and contact the Support Team, providing the data of your fiat deposit(s).

Important: if you made a deposit in a cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH etc), which was exchanged for fiat, then it was necessary to fill in the Coin Redistribution form in order to receive this deposit on your balance.
The deadline for submission is expired on January 31, 2019. Almost all coins were redistributed among the traders who notified us about the deposits made.

We are doing everything possible to redistribute the remaining coins: TCH, BDX, ADM and some others.

Thank you for being a part of BiteBTC community.

Dear Trader,

Please note that we've lost about 7% of traders' information during the fire incident.
Most of our servers, including cold storage, were in safe.

Additionally, we make our best to return all fiat balances in USD and CNY.
We advise to follow our Twitter for most actual news.

Dear BiteBTC LIAR,

Please note that I put my trust and my BTC into your exchange, you lost them with crap reasons, fine.
I gave my record of TXID, you said it's fake that I was trying to "double spent attempt".

Fuck you. How do you know that? How do you prove that ? The TRUTH is you return me nothing. NOT USD , NOT BTC.
Are you trying to know what is my account ? Are you really seriously trying to identify my transaction?

NO. YOU DIDN't

In my opinion , you are fucking liar who cheated my hard work money, and trying to screw more ppl's money.
I waited for 2 months, and you give me nothing back. This made me mad.

I suggest anyone who want to listing your coin or try to sell/buy on BiteBtc.  DON'T DO IT. You HAVE a lot of better choices.

They have no idea what is TRUST.  They only tell you they tried their best, and steal your money.

what does double spend even mean?

I have no idea, and most ridiculous thing is they denied all my deposit record, but acknowledge my only one withdrawal record.

How can I deposit nothing and successful withdrawal one BTC Huh??

6  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BiteBTC Exchange Launched! on: March 05, 2019, 11:28:16 AM
Dear Traders,

Over the past two weeks, we gradually accrued returns on the coins listed below to the traders' balances:
https://bitebtc.com/news/31

Unfortunately, almost all applications were for the return of deposits. Less than 5% of traders honestly specified their withdrawals.
But according to our estimates, more than 80% of deposits were withdrawn from the system.
Thus, traders tried to get the previously withdrawn coins to the balance once again.
We identified and marked some of these cases as "double spend", but it is still obvious that many traders have hidden their withdrawals and went unnoticed.
In this regard, we had to return proportionally less coins for all applications.
Unfortunately, this is a fee for collective concealment of withdrawals.

It remains for us to hand out a few coins, for which the situation is tangled - TCH (3 forks), Beldex (4 forks), EagleX and some others.
We do our best to return as large a percentage of coins as possible to their owners.

Thank you for your patience and trust.

F**k you, I didn't do any double spent things, I got nothing back.

LAIR EXCHANGE !!!!!

Dear Traders,

We make our best to return all coins as soon as possible.
For today we've satisfied 90% of all redistribution requests and almost finished investigations in BTC and ETH blockchains.

But we can't return coins for all requests because there are almost no one informed us about withdrawals received before the incident.
So, we're forced to split all the remaining coins between all traders.

We kindly ask to be patient and wait for the final redistribution batches.

Thank you.

I only had some Bitcoin in bitebtc, and there is still nothing in my account.

bitebtc What is your response to this?

I looked through all your documents and that's quite an awful story... I mean, at a minimum they stole close to $20,000... Not sure how you can place a $1.20 valuation on each one of your tokens. That would give your coin a market cap of $933 million, putting it between Cardano and Monero.

In any case, they should definitely return your BTC, ETH and tokens. There's no excuse for them to be holding it.

I don't really it worths 600,000. I mean, it's just another never heard token.

But yes, I do think they should return your all tokens.

BiteBTC VC Invests $10M in Distributed Data Center https://bitebtc.com/news/23

The BiteBTC Venture Fund allocated $10M for the construction of a new distributed infrastructure of data centers to host BiteBTC Exchange servers, including a system of distributed cold storage of crypto assets based on multi-signatures.

If this is true, they should invest more on their customer service and financial support team too, but sadly we don't know if this is true.
12  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BiteBTC Exchange Launched! on: January 15, 2019, 08:08:34 AM
Has anybody received their deposit back from Bitebtc after following their guide?
I can still see my deposit in the address I deposited them too at them.

Read the announcement, it will be processed at least after they collected all applications, it means after 1/31.

But again, no one knows if this is real or not, and there is no guarantee if you can get fully refund or not.

13  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BiteBTC Exchange Launched! on: January 10, 2019, 06:09:20 PM
I absolutely do not see any sense to swear here, everything will be decided on the 31st, the team promised to return then and it will be seen
I also propose to wait for the appointed date, and then make any conclusions.

I see no reason to doubt the decision of the exchange administration. They promised to return everything, so they have the resources to do it.

They didn't promise to return everything, read the announcement carefully again.

They will only try to return the coins based on the form you fill and what left in their exchange account.

There is a high chance you will only get a little of your deposit back.
14  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BiteBTC Exchange Launched! on: January 10, 2019, 06:30:54 AM

I have no reason to lie. This exchange has blocked my account $ 2900. There is a lot of bad information about this exchange on the Internet. I wrote more than 20 letters to the support of a single answer. How can I trust this exchange?
You simply have no choice whether to trust the exchange or not, you had to make decisions before. Now you have only one choice, wait until you get your money back.

What is the point of doubting the integrity of the administration of the exchange, if they themselves said that everything will be restored?

Not everything will be restored, do you read the announcement?

There is no any transaction or trading data left.

You might have a chance to get the all deposit back or just lost some / a lot of them.
15  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BiteBTC Exchange Launched! on: January 09, 2019, 06:27:10 PM
the team promised to compensate the deposits. And who compensates the money that I earned. I made deposits somewhere 400 dollars. And on the account when the stock exchange worked was 2900+ dollars who compensates me for the remaining 2500 dollars

Thank God if you can take any of them back instead of losing them all , you will feel much better,

And you have no evidence you earned 2500 dollars, it was a good sweet dream  Tongue
It is clear that I will not prove that my account was $ 2,900. This Exchange specifically blocked many accounts in order not to pay the earned money to the traders. There was no fire. It was planned in advance. This exchange scam.
The information is taken from nowhere, what's the point of blocking an account? if their stock market is in the top 40, they are many times more, it is completely illogical

Sorry for let you know, according to the report https://www.blockchaintransparency.org/ , most of their vol. are fake.

They earn new coin listing fee for living.

I think that should restore all of this, including money that was earned.

They lost all last 4 months of data.
They have no way to know how much money earned by any user.
Of course, I'm sure that the "fire incident" never happened. Great scam here!

According what they say, they lost all the transaction data and trading history, so there is no way to track what you earned or lost in past 3-4 months.

Basically, it's a casino which when you guys earn too much, they "burn" all the records and pay what they left or even nothing.

We can't even expect the fully refund, so I say if we can get the number which we deposit, that will be lucky, don't expect too much.

Important statement: Coin Redistribution Roadmap

Over these days we have received many complaints and inquiries from traders in connection with the January 1 incident (https://bitebtc.com/news/20), but we are not yet able to answer each one personally, although we are doing everything possible for this.
In this regard, we will report the news on the website bitebtc.com and in our official Twitter account @bitebtccom.

Unfortunately, we have to admit that our specialists failed to recover part of the data from September 4, 2018 to January 1, 2019, including trades, deposits, withdrawals, orders and some other information.
At the same time, the coins and tokens were almost completely preserved, since stored on external servers, including cold storage.
It is easy to check for the lack of movement in the wallets used for deposits - coins on them have not moved since Dec 2018.

Data has not been archived since September 4? How can you trust such a stock exchange. That's horrible.

Yes, totally agreed, how can they put the backup and live server in the same place, and the last backup is 3 months ago.

It's unbelievable.

BiteBTC ppl, If you have no ability to run the op, at least using AWS or GCP, they will backup for you, Bitfinex just migrated their servers away from AWS, you're not so big or resourceful, just learn their experience.
19  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BiteBTC Exchange Launched! on: January 08, 2019, 04:53:09 PM
No, they failed.

In their announcement, they lost the data from September 4, 2018 to January 1, 2019, it's really a disaster.

However, they're not trying run away, they're not "exit scam" is for sure right now.

but I really think it's hard for everyone to recall their all transaction records by their own.
20  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BiteBTC Exchange Launched! on: January 07, 2019, 02:47:33 PM
Did the technical work succeed? Does the exchange operate in standard mode?

From my side all is functional, i can trade, deposit and withdraw.

So since the maintenance, you can login your account again, and you can withdraw your crypto (what kind of your crypto?) normally ?

Well, but you're just a new bitcointalk account which registered on 4th Jan, are you from BiteBTC ? Tongue

No i'm not working for BiteBTC.

I only tried to withdraw BTC, and received the deposit within 24hours.

There are no problems with payments, it is good, as I see people trade there without problems

What do you mean "payments"? fiat withdrawal?
