I think it more likely that the real creator found someone he could pin his creation on if people such as this journalist really started digging around.

Can you provide more information on operating costs. How do we know you're not skimming the profits by claiming higher operating costs (I am not insinuating that this is occurring).

Can you also clarify your reasoning that bet volume was lower due to a higher price for bitcoins when the price was higher in Nov and Dec yet volume was higher then. A lower price would surely mean larger bitcoin bets and not smaller as suggested on page 4.

Also, SEO stands for search engine optimization, there is no need to call it SEO optimization. Inattention to basic details like that is concerning.

It's not CoinJar's fault or responsibility if you got yourself trojanned and were too lazy to enable 2FA. Buy a cheap ass android phone for GA and use SMS on your main phone. Don't have both on the same phone as it defeats the purpose, if someone steals your phone, they can pass both 2FA requirements.

Something is up, that's for sure. They constantly post misleading articles about mtgox such as http://www.coindesk.com/mt-gox-first-bitcoin-exchange-dead/ - the title was Why Mt.Gox, the World's First Exchange Is Dead, it was later changed to Why Mt.Gox, the World's First Exchange, is Dying.

It's not the first time either. One has to wonder if someone at coindesk is funding a new exchange behind the scenes. In anycase, coindesk is not reputable imo, they will publish just about anything, factual or not.

IT looks like your coinjar wallet is not your wallet but coinjar's wallet. This must be the same as sending money into their bank account and tagging the transfer with your reference number. The money balance is not your personal balance, just a balance thats shared with everybody.

That is kind of dangerous.
eg if they screw up somewhere and need money, they can technically take it from the coinjar money/btc and put everybody in a queing system.
ie Fractional Reserve Bitcoin Exchange System.

This is why I withdraw my coins immediately upon purchase. You would be crazy to hold coins on CoinJar.

It's Sunday afternoon (3:30pm) here in Australia and I believe CoinJar do not provide customer service outside of business hours.
9  Economy / Marketplace / CoinClippers.com - Coupon Codes, Promos & Discounts on: February 16, 2014, 02:05:21 AM
Hi all,

I've recently begun a website named CoinClippers.com - think coupon clipping meets bitcoiners looking for bargains.

I'm looking for merchants who provide a little extra for people paying with bitcoins whether it be a discount, reward points or some other type of promo, it needs to be exclusive for payments made with bitcoin.

The reasoning is, being a bitcoiner myself, I'm more inclined to spend my coins if I can get something extra (no matter how big or small) that is exclusive to bitcoin transactions and not available to credit card or other traditional payments.

Thanks!
