if nothing is done, price keeps dropping, more people will leave. I guess you guys can attract new players, but are they enough to replace old players? Or will it be only bots vs bots? If only bots vs bots, then it lost the attraction of 'human-minable coin". Come on, for all other coins, it's also human running the commands so that the computer/GPU/whatsoever start to mine (they may only need to do it once and check on time to time, but it's human running as well). This is the only coin that human can sit and do a few moves and get coins, so there's the difference. But now you guys are turning it back to the normal machine-mined coins! (bots has intelligence behind it but it is machine still!).
then we have bots selling (not letting anyone sell by keeping putting order a tad lower so bot order is always on top), so frustrated, so what you do when you desperately want to sell? You dump it on the buy order book! And tell me why the price not going down!!!!!!!!!!
no positive news for a while (except mithril man edition, which is still read-only), no more new exchange (whereby i see all other shit coins get on all sort of exchanges around, any time they go in a new exchange, there is a push for price, etc.).
so far this coin seems only have 3 mining pools also. shouldn't it be more?
if HUC price falls further and further (say, 0.0000010 or something around there), do you guys think those mining pools will continue to support HUC?
Investment is long-term, snailbrain, i know you keep saying so. But as I notice from beginning, this coin is way under marketing, the whole team is basically you (well, you run almost everything and the only chain to link everyone together). And you are overworked and underpaid (or get zero pay). I really feel for you and respect you. But from another viewpoint, how feasible is this project in the long run? I don't know!

Someone needs to make some Huntercoin merchandise, I'll buy a Tshirt to raise funds. If you made toy dolls for each team I'd buy some.  will buy t-shirt also. Preferred to pay by HUC. |

I notice HUC in poloniex is trending back (upwards) towards 0.0005 (I was waiting to buy at 0.00027, laugh out loud). Did not see any other news, is it something to do with your advertisement to accept HUC for riffles, BayAreaCoins? LOL~!  )) |

I had some questions PM'd to me about what the hunter bots were attacking and thought I would post the information to everyone.
The "H" series bots are patrolling the perimeter and are searching for targets that have 4 or more coins. Keep in mind the general is also worth .96 coins.
The "T" and "F" series bots are moving towards coin areas but will attack targets on their way that have more than 6 coins. Once in a coin area, they will destruct on the highest value non moving target that has more than 3.5 coins.
This evening I have turned off the "Q" series bots which were probably the biggest ones to gripe about on the board. These bots were seeking anything above .96 coins. So they would attack any general that came near them as they patrolled the perimeter. You will see these bots on the board still, but they will not do anything.
I also disabled some of the other H,T,F bots for about a 35% reduction. Again these bots will be on the board but not moving anymore.
BGB, thanks for clarification. If not yours, is there any chance that you know who controls the bots in the centre of the map? Is that a group of bots or bots + a group of human players? They are very smart, getting lots of coins and destroying every single colour within 20 squares or so on the way back! So far we hold no chance against them! They are very dangerous!!!!!!!!!!! also I think those are the people keeping selling HUC down (if BGB_HUC does not sell). There are many more bots in the map than only BGB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I'm experimenting a bit with tx fees. So far adding a fee seems to work. Just a casual observation though. Even 0.001 seems to work ok. So, for anyone that has had trouble, give it a shot.

fyi, i've 'lost' the crown after 3 days holding!!!!!! J/K, we manage to cash it in, as we could not handle the next wave of attacks!!!!!! That's 24/24 watching for those days, of course I can't do it alone!
Notice that when we get the crown (3-4 days ago), we were on the longer chain, at that time not so many players around (some are at the slower chain, some are not playing due to uncertainty, some are out of HUCs to create new teams, etc.), the game is WAY BETTER!!!!!!! Way smoother and much less pending, blacked out, etc....
And now when the chain is fixed, poloniex is opened, people are here all again, BGB bots back, all the pending, blacked out starts again.... I guess we need more hash rate! Current hash rate does not seem to handle the current amount of players there.... More miners, please!!!!!!!

On a different note, thanks snailbrain & Mikhail for creating the game. Thanks domob, khal and all Namecoin devs helping to fix bugs and maintain Huntercoin!

@paradigmflux: Could you just cut snailbrain some slack? YOU are probably the one who caused this all, considering the fuss you make about staying on "your chain"..... Just a thought - you aren't the BGB bot owner by any chance and see your profits disappearing?
Geez, this is an experimental coin, never done before and you act like you are entitled to being "right" - well newsflash, you are not.
Do we want to turn this into another sh..altcoin thread or stay on topic and wait it out? Attacking snailbrain is not doing you any good.

He's trying to help though, so don't worry. don't stop helping even if you think i may find it offensive due to my lack of knowledge of C++ (the coders may find it useful) any information whether offensive, incorrect, correct, negative, positive, is all good.. I'm trying to keep you all in the loop, and being as open as possible.... i have practically not worked since the 1st of febuary, spent almost a year working on the project, spent money i didn't have, and virtually never slept since launch.. and worst, my partner who i told was like finding a genie in a bottle passed away.. so unfortunately, fixes will take probably the normal amount of time to fix, not hours after a bug is found like it was with Mikhail. When the current devs working on huntercoin master the code, i'm sure bug fixes will have a much faster turnaround. Just to clarify your post before: I delete and re-synch one of my machines 2 days ago, it took me almost 2 days to synch, but I was on the longer chain. Of course they aren't, because they're all on an IRC channel sharing with each other totally differerent chains. We're talking chains that are nearly 1000 blocks different size-wise.
Why can't we turn off all the eliesus nodes? if you turned off your three nodes (that you said aren't even running the daemon anyways) and we turned off the IRC channel, nobody would know how to talk to anybody else. Then start by announcing nodes that are on the correct chain, to connect to via addnodes.
The IRC functionality is just asking for a fork. and yes, there is also a #huntercoin02
otherwise just release an emergency version update and modify the IRC channel to use a different one, then make sure that you have only got the correct fork daemons on that channel when poeople start to join it.
it's not a proper fix.. and hoping people don't just add eligius chain to the new irc channel is not good.. people will jsut do it out of spite it needs to be fixed properly Devs need to check what happened at the blocks at the fork Devs need to work out why we are not reorging to the longest chain they will be related. from the sounds of things, it seems you just want to be on this longest chain.. which i can respect, .. but, whatever has to be has to be.. i'm not deciding, we will see what the people who can "see" the code think they want to be at the longest chain because they got a lot of HUC from some bot that destruct in the base i think I like to keep my options open. Making HUC on all 3 chains. I hope we don't have too many more forks though. I don't know how many more versions of reality my brain can process.  I want to stay on the longest chain because i'm holding the crown there. ) |

Whoa, whats with the sudden HUGE increase in players?
i think, 2 possible reasons: 1, more people are playing huntercoin (after press release, word of mouth, etc...) 2, with the new update of allowing the team-screen to be widened (the width was fixed before), then people can create more team/players. so much more competitive now~! my 2 cents. |

It seems my btc balance has dropped by 12.3%. Could you please post somewhere on my account balances page the amount taken and like some sort of accounting function showing how much has been earned back? As of now it's just vaporized as far as i concerned. We basically need a receipt showing we loaned the site operator 12.3% of our balance.

why do you need to send a petition? I think HUC is going to be added already anyway? There was a backdoor link to see that earlier, right?
