1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Futures trading help on: October 01, 2021, 05:39:23 PM
I'm new to futures trading but not in crypto.

I like to hold coins for long term but right now im interested in futures trading and there is a thing i don't understand and cannot find answer on internet (lol).

Lets say i bought long BTC/USD at $47,000 and if bitcoin goes down like at $42,000 will my open order will be canceled automatically without my permission and lose my money. I know stop limit loss but im not interested at this right now because im always behind my computer. Also... Can you hold open orders like for a year and if it goes up i take alot of profits.. My concern is only if im at loss i don't like to sell and lose but im concerned if my open order will be canceled automatically if not set up limit loss and take loss, i always wait for the price to go up at the same price i bought. English is not my first language if my question is not clear please let me know i'll try to explain below in comments. Thank you.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Concerning about dust attacks on Trust Wallet. on: August 20, 2021, 07:19:38 PM
Yes, dust attack.

There has some smart contract reacting to send you a scam token everytime you are doing transaction, the best solution just ignores the token you are don't know or ended to your address. So, even you move the token you will get the scam token because smart contract reacting to your "TX".

I always leave it any token I don't know. If you not approved the token trade on AMM exchange, then should be fine.

Thank you for this reply. I would like to hear from you if they can steal my funds (to transfer my funds from my wallet to another) without private key only by using Dust Attack.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I'm Concerning about dust attacks on Trust Wallet. on: August 20, 2021, 06:45:03 PM
Hi,

I'm not familiar with Trust Wallet and i never used it. I Invested on some BSC tokens and in order to track them i installed Trust Wallet using same private key as Binance Smart Chain extension. I've received some scam tokens and i did some research about it, it was Dust Attack... In other words some said if i transfer or swap those token my original investement token will be stolen. Well how is that possible without private key. So i transferred my investement in another new wallet and those Dust Tokens come along with it just in 1 transfer. Can you help me to have more clear information about it i would appreciate it alot. I wont recommend you to direct me to use another wallet because already those tokens are in BSC extension.

Thank you

Now I seriously doubt in anything you say and write, because you wrote in the same day that you also lost your ledger wallet and your password for your email so it looks like some fake questions and lame merit hunting, but maybe I am wrong  Roll Eyes

What are you saying make no sense... Why should i waste my time making those topics for nothing?
I know i stored somewhere my keys but didn't know which mail because i use more than 6 personal emails for different bussines. If someone could help me out to crack my email that would be great if not... don't know what to say.

6  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: I can't transfer 1.3btc from electrum because of ledger on: July 19, 2021, 07:23:53 AM
As far as I know, you have 2 options.

- Order a new hardware wallet (e.g, Ledger or Trezor) and then import your seed phrase to recover your assets.
- Use a compatible software wallet preferably Electrum and import your 24 word seed phrase for you to be able to transfer your BTC to another address. And make sure that you have verified the Electrum before using it.

But, just to be safe, I hope your missing ledger device has a strong pin code to reduce the risk of your coins from being stolen.

I lost my ledger device because i have connected with electrum (most stupid idea ever
LOL. I don't think having an Electrum as the interface for your Ledger Device is a bad idea; in fact, electrum provides most of the advanced features for managing your BTC that the ledger live app misses. Lightning network, pay to many, and coin control, among other features, are incredibly beneficial in several aspects.

I don't have seed.. i just have wallet file .dat
7  Bitcoin / Electrum / I can't transfer 1.3btc from electrum because of ledger on: July 19, 2021, 05:03:33 AM
I lost my ledger device because i have connected with electrum (most stupid idea ever) and at this moment i can access my electrum wallet but in order to transfer btc an error appears "Please insert your Ledger. Verify the cable is connected and that no other application is using it. It seems i cannot get private keys neither.. Can someone help out with an issue... there will be bounty aswell Smiley

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Staking/node privacy-secure? on: January 11, 2021, 04:27:01 PM
Currently im staking an "X" coin and its doing pretty good regarding staking.. at this moment devs of X coin released an article on how to setup a node and im stuck because i don't understand some things if you could help me that would be great.

I'm using Linux and before running a node from private computer below are devs statement from article they published and my questions.

Devs statement

1. Do not use your public node to store your "X Coin" or for staking. Stake from a separate computer, if possible.
* What happens if i store X Coin , run a node and staking in same Computer?

2.Your firewall should have a single port (xxxxxx) open to the outside world, and physical access by unauthorized users must be prevented.
* Would it be possible for someone to access my wallet through nodes and spend X Coin?

3. Do nodes cost electricity?

4. If i run a node would it be more profitable than staking?

I'm not interested buying hosted nodes.

Thank you.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is going on with my staking? on: December 27, 2020, 07:39:31 PM
I'm staking for almost 3-4 months a coin Equihash 100% PoS not very popular and i earn 60k-70k every day (24h) with market value it's worth 10 USD but sometimes something happens and i earn 500 Coin a day and i had to wait almost 1 months to get back to earn everyday 60k, this is weird. It's like the whole blockchain is resetting and starting from the scratch.

Block reward is 100 Coin and i earn every 2-3 minutes but god... this sucks now i earn 500 Coin a day...

POS coins just like POW have a constant supply. Most likely what happened was the price went up and more people started to stake it or they staked larger amounts and there is less of a cut for everybody else. This is pretty much called difficulty. The supply of a coin needs to be capped.

This is why back in 2009, Satoshi was the only one mining BTC and he received 100% of the daily rewards and now since BTC is expensive, there are millions of miners out there each getting a small slice of the pie.

Which coin is this exactly?

Very helpful information buddy thank you and i appreciate your response.

If i run a node will it be more profitable than staking?
I have made another topic regarding nodes, if you can help me out with that it would be awesome.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to Setup Node to any coin that uses PoS equihash staking? on: December 27, 2020, 06:23:50 PM

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Staking difficult? on: December 24, 2020, 08:31:53 PM
Staking generally has a very low difficulty because proof of work is not the main way that new coins are minted. So if you own a staking coin you can use a regular laptop to stake and just leave the wallet running.

Actually.... I'm staking a coin Equihash PoS. I've heard on their community that staking will be more difficult in following days. What do they mean by that. For example if im staking today 50 Coin, in "following days" i will stake less example 30 Coin.. I'm right?

There is a certain degree of risk because you need to keep the coins on an online computer and there is some degree of risk.

I'm staking on desktop Wallet QT and can you tell me more about of this risk, What do you mean?
Can i lose coins?

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Your opinion about staking with 2 PC same coin, different wallets? on: December 20, 2020, 08:57:24 PM
What is your opinion staking same coin from 2 different PC but not same wallet and plug 2 PC in same network... Will it cause any issue or it will be fine?
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HowTo ? on: November 22, 2020, 08:52:40 PM
You can use some domain names generators such as namemesh (already suggested by joniboini), namestall, domainnamesoup... all you have to do is to provide some keywords and they will generate free related domain names. At least they will give you some cool ideas.
But keep in mind that your website popularity doesn't depend on it's url but on the content you provide and a cool name won't improve your ranking on search engines. So don't waste too much time on it.

Tbh, i've been all day searching a good domain name on those sites godaddy etc. but most importantly what i notice was someone from Panama grabbed all domains that started with crypto for example cryptobeginner, cryptohelp.com and hundreds of domains that started with crypto. Yes you're correct i agree that you said website popularity doesn't depend on it's url but on the content  but i'm type of person that likes short good looking-eye domain then content it's something that i love to do everyday.

Thanks for your comment
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HowTo ? on: November 22, 2020, 08:33:53 PM
Since domains with crypto and bitcoin are harder to grab, I'd try some alternative ideas, like:

1. You can think of a beautiful long(!) name for your project, then find a shorter domain with the acronym/initials of that.
Help out struggling beginners in crypto related problems => hosbicrp.com => free for grabbing.
Of course, I am sure you can find better name than this ^^  Grin

2. Search for domains in certain countries. Like cryptohelp.it, cryptohelp.me or such.

Great... i like those domains i checked suggested domains from other users and i like them aswell..

What do you think about domain crinner.com "crypto Beginner" or crynner.com "crypto beginner" , crbeginner.com ?
19  Other / Beginners & Help / HowTo ? on: November 22, 2020, 12:58:57 PM
I wanna create a website like "How to fix this issue on Bitcoin Blockchain" etc.. but it will be on all cryptocurrencies but unfortunately there's a problem that its impossible to find a domain with cryptohelp or cryptobeginner , bitcoinbeginner or something like that howtocrypto etc... Can you help me out to find a short good domain?

Thanks
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is this possible, Satoshi's wallet.dat? on: November 18, 2020, 12:23:15 PM
Wallet.dat can be modified to display anything you want. The wallet.dat doesn't contain Satoshi's address and it was merely modified to show the address and its transactions. Any wallet.dat you see floating around is likely one that's modified and it's done for scammers to sell them and trick them into thinking the wallet.dat is authentic.

We'll i know that but if you import this wallet.dat to newest version of GUI and enter passphrase an error will appear "Some keys decrypt but some not" but if you use an older version you will unlock wallet but not able to spend those BTC
