1  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything is an investment-change my mind on: April 16, 2019, 06:34:06 PM
I constantly here people say " Only invest what you can afford to lose"  Well no matter where your wealth is it could crash.

-Invest in USD- USA could collapse and experience mass inflation making your dollars nearly worthless
-Invest in Bonds- Government could collapse making your bonds worthless
-Invest in real estate- Housing prices could crash, natural disaster could hit and insurance company could go bankrupt
-Invest in metals- prices could crash, asteroid mining could collapse prices

Your money is never 100% safe no matter where it is invested.

Yep, in this world that we live in all you need to have in to be wise with everything you do and have a little bit of luck for what you are investing in.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can you reverse or cancel a bitcoin transaction? on: April 16, 2019, 06:04:42 PM
It has been said sometimes that a Bitcoin transaction can be cancelled or reversed using for example double-spend.
Is it still possible? If Yes, how? If No, Why?
Especially when you sell services and goods and accept Bitcoin payment, you are worried about this.
So it should be a good idea to discuss this topic.

I still haven't heard or seen anything like that could happen in the blockchain, but I think it has been done with the EOS blockchain if I were not mistaken.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blockchain beat VISA someday? on: January 02, 2019, 08:47:38 PM
Given how difficult it has been for Blockchain technology to scale since Bitcoin's inception back in 2009, it makes me wonder whenever Blockchain could beat VISA someday?

The potential is there for Blockchain to scale to many users. However, some crypto projects have sacrificed decentralization in exchange for high transaction throughput and low fees. Which is why, it cannot be possible to achieve decentralization while obtaining high scalability.

Nonetheless, do you think that it's possible for Blockchain tech to surpass traditional payment processors like VISA? Smiley

The way I see it I think it would defeat VISA and a lot of people will be delight to use Blockchain because of the fastness and direct payment system.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trade without id verification? on: January 02, 2019, 08:36:48 PM
hi i was just wondering if there where any crypto exchanges that dont require lots of verification i registered with coinbase and within an hour i was getting phone calls soliciting me with services is there any exchanges that just let you email verify like bitmex does and lets you trade between altcoins? thanks

I am currently using Binance as my trading platform and it hasn't given me any problems even though I am not verified there.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: January 02, 2019, 08:16:09 PM
To kickstart crypto 2019 I decided to make a Bitcoin mini documentary: https://youtu.be/WgxD5DmS6z8

Things I talked about:

1. Bitcoin's intrinsic value
2. How it could help underdeveloped countries
3. How it could help developed countries
4. Censorship

Now I wanna ask your opinions on my main point which is:

"Bitcoin's intrinsic value is the amalgamation of the platform, its users, and its development."

Now I know some other more famous crypto influencers have mentioned things like decentralization, cost of production, etc., but I think those things are a means to an end and not the endgoal themselves. Like decentralization is for the purpose of censorship resistance and fraud prevention.

So you I wanna know your opinions guys. Agree or disagree doesn't matter as long as you explain your point. https://youtu.be/WgxD5DmS6z8

Bitcoin is just used for some reasons to people to make their self rich with this. And somehow a lot of people doesn't even care what could it do in the future.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am a newbie for bitcoin. Friends please clear my doubts on: January 02, 2019, 07:38:47 PM
Friends all we know bitcoin is transaction is not allowed in india. only few indian companies are available that also require KYC. I dont want my details to get exposed. i have some doubt in purchasing bitcoins. I have listed my doubts below please clarify it.

1. If someone buys bitcoin from blockchain in another country, for example (US blockchain user). And if they send bitcoin to my wallet address(Indian block chain user). Can I able to receive bitcoin or not
2.If I receive the bitcoin from that user. can I able to send it to other wallet id such as zebpay or coinbase or localbitcoins etc..

Please clarify these doubts as soon as possible.

Thanx in advance

I can also doubt that your country could ever hold you from getting your cryptocurrencies. If they can trace you then I think that would be a problem, but I don't see anything that India is banning crypto there.
