i moonshine my dirty boards after vacumn dust have bought 2 miners with fistfuls of dustballs on intake side of heatsinks. ages ago didn't have balls to open one until after few vids feel like a antminer repair centre here in my mining rig   BONEYARD

I have more dead machines than TONY BEETS

my main ltc pool decided to give up ltc, pity big loss as i think the admins don't understand too much off other protocols, like Asic boost which it did not have and many ant-miner s series did not hash in end they pulled btc also. these features  are hidden in the new firmware and newbies to mining and computing programming dont realize bit-main hidden features is very dangerous practice esp the fan speed i have wrote a post in legal about it as i had few l3 fried on me due to missing fan speed feature once browsers get refreshed pages.

at least this unit has that feature not hidden or missing which i like about it

but there is also the possibility to connect to any pool and undermine any crypto with the same "algo scrypt"

Yes you can and as jstefanop has written its possible to any pool and you can also point your miner to nicehash if you want .
The only problem on Nicehash there is only to get a lot of shares , but you get some and any scrypt pool that you find you can mine there .
I have the apollo miner now since it was coming out and never got any problems with it .

How much u earn daily if u point your apollo to nice hash?

I have tried nicehash occasionally with my apollo and it just doesnt seem to work there - it sits around 20 mh/s and even after hours the earned amount is at 0

I switch it back to another pool and the hash rate goes to 140 mh/s

many renters i noticed hash their contracts on pools that not fully compatible with either the bfgminer version but im sure miner itself works fine from what i hear from other apollo owners i tried renting from
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / BITMAIN SCAM on: November 30, 2019, 06:58:25 PM
recently i stupidly upgraded firmware of their antminers. Due to noise i had to turn down fan speed otherwise neighbors throwing fits daily basis. recently i upgraded firmware and had increased to default settings freq only to see what new improvements they done, bad mistake, i tried looking for original firmware by the time i got to the miners, pretty much some totally screwed to death and some if lucky i have a hashing but missing or burnt boards. cant find the original on their site have they got rid of it to scam us to buy more devices before we roi if ever on our older units, noticed few things gone esp the fan speed.

think this is a bitmain scam to earn more $$$ off us so we buy more miners....!    and units are out of warranty period and have to buy a newer risk a 2nd hand units off private sector.

bought well over dozen of them over time now regretting it badly

1st most pools are not able to mine on them aswell the apollo version miner

worst still i have 10 fans not working at all or not spinning like they used to- and at current prices be costly to buy and suffer the same results as i did

i even rented all futurebit miners on rentals and i got so many not hashing and being abused by rental admins that the rigs are crap and had my accounts suspended cause running them if i run l3 antminers no problem
Put em on LitecoinPool and donate to FutureBit lol.
i put mine on mininerig rentals and alot of renters cant use them tried diff filtering bypass their pools diff but admin of mrr said my rigs are crap - last thing i need is to look like a tool to cryptoland clients and friends - ones still working that fans siezed up or almost rests just fried chips on me cause they over heated, i regular clean the dust off the heatsinks as they collect quite alot and sieaze up the fan this way also.

When i say seized i cant even move them manually type seized not everyone mines litecoinpool i tried using a diff versoin of bfgminer and they dont even register on them but work fine with other usb devices, gridseeds and quite alot of sha256 usb's . If i was only tool having issues then it my end but alot of people used them on pools i look after my main ones cant get them to work and get penalized or banned to mine ltc pool when these mine beside antminer l3+ rigs and support say i been throwing invalid shares

https://screenshots.firefox.com/xkG1VyC4KD5RxLXy/192.168.1.114   says this nothing happening on pool side
tried 2nd pool according to a nicehash user it's red marked

#skipcbcheck#xnsub  dont work it says dead, im trying to pool and rent the unit within it's own miner app
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FutureBit Project Apollo: Bringing ASIC Mining Back to the Home Miner! on: January 04, 2019, 11:17:43 AM
think the pools I tried on have stats update issues . I hope Apollo is total compab with all pools I tried a very low diff port pool it works fine and for usb sticks I think I know where I went wrong as I tried doin on several computers with ghekkos on them either one or other work depend which driver I updated last but also it can be usb ports and power hubs im using one thing great about Apollo I can mine without a usb driver which made it easy

all I need is a list of pools it works great on so far give-me-coins work nice with all futurebit miners I was thinking of renting it out say like on nicehash or mrr but I find too many renters on normal bit-main machines tend to throw them rigs on so high diff pools im having great arguments with renters who ripping us rig owners off but esp admins who run them trying to convince them my rig is not working when it is lol

checked with tiny asic pool it work so my decision is final
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FutureBit Project Apollo: Bringing ASIC Mining Back to the Home Miner! on: January 03, 2019, 10:51:20 AM
no hashing on any pool I try to put it on is mining or errors up, same with your moonlander 2 sticks, so rushed off and expensive devices I was planning to buy 20 but lucky I bought a prototype

MAYBE I STUFFED UP SOMEWHERE maybe hub on moonlander sticks or something ill play with those, but this Apollo is too good to be true atm
