I was wondering that, will you guys turn off your mining rig for earth hour Undecided  ?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HVC] Heavycoin - Ultra-secure, Decentralized Block Reward Voting, Fast on: March 27, 2014, 11:51:25 AM
Surprised no one mentioned GTX 780 TI.  10MH+ plus a lot less power requirements and less heat.

how much power consumption?

this just got bumped to more than 20 MHash/s. Here's an example for my 3x 780Ti rig.

Code:
[2014-03-27 00:58:35] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://hvcpool.1gh.com:5333
[2014-03-27 00:58:35] 3 miner threads started, using 'heavy' algorithm.

[2014-03-27 00:59:48] accepted: 7/7 (100.00%), 60783 khash/s (yay!!!)

The power efficient 750 Ti now does 11.5 MHash/s

Take this AMD.

(we removed all the divergence from our Hefty1 implementation by applying logical ops
 instead of branching)

get ccminer 0.5 from github NOW and rake in the profits.

Too bad for this coin. Didn't have enough support from the community.  15+ million only coin,Fair launch, no premine and etc.. Dev you need to do something to promote this coin.We're just miner, which we can play a small part in help to advertise this but dont put all the hope on us. Still not too late though since the price per coin is around 180-200 satoshi each. I guess every coin dev have to do so & dont just hope for the miner to promote the coin. Pull your self together and do something about this! Think of something brilliant.. Otherwise unfortunate fate will fall..

heh, i'm mining QB faster than ever now, the more miners leave the better for me!

cause you know, bitbar sure did awful for itself, their ANN thread only having 30 pages, lots of people hating on it.. yeah... and now it's worth 0.05921618 BTC per coin.

haters gonna hate xD

Certainly QB won't die! Anyway on which pool you mine djslick???

Guys! Please stop dumping the coin. Dont tell me I didnt warn you but it might be too late for you to realize it later because there's only 15++ million (not hundred million/billion/trillion/gazzillion/alien) of these coins. It must be worth alot compared to the other coins. Set the price accordingly and please...dont destroy this awesome coin.. Smiley
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin on: March 04, 2014, 06:16:49 AM
what fucking algorithm it gonna use ?

we're using scrypt-bieber for the latest launch  Grin
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin on: March 04, 2014, 05:52:39 AM

But here's the thing: He said he would immediately call off the launch if it failed again. He's kicking the ball down the road.

Can you link to the posts where the dev said he would refund: 1) immediately, 2)  prior to another launch. I saw him promise a refund if the 2nd failed, but are you sure you're not extrapolating things he did say to more specific statements that he did not?

Short of logging into email, here's an even better solution, his own words of refunding if the 2nd launch of 03 mar failed: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=469887.msg5471566#msg5471566

(immediately) is not there. He did state in email to that nature however, and of 1st launch fail I might add. I've been nice in keeping quiet.

Other IPOs have expressed similar issue.

The bigger problem is, as soon as he got BTC from us (even before launch day), he stopped responding to us/questions.

How much total IPO did this guy get?

71 i guess ??
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin | Re-Launch 03MAR14 23:00 EST on: March 04, 2014, 04:51:54 AM
I am starting an IPO Immediate Refund thread -- All IPOs will be invited to join. WATCH MY SIG, I will post link in my sig.

I will also be starting a Legal Action thread. Per Virginia Statute (I am a resident), he has a written agreement to immediately refund all IPOs. If he fails to take action, he will be in breach. I will file paperwork this week if that is the case. Details to follow in my sig.

Dude! chill out. everything was working fine apart from the block rewards..  we just need another relaunch not a big deal =_="
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin | Re-Launch 03MAR14 23:00 EST on: March 04, 2014, 04:34:39 AM
This launch is completed f*cked.  The devs they hired just rereleased panda. Never changed blockreward. Didn't do crap.

Quote
main.cpp:static CBigNum bnProofOfWorkLimit(~uint256(0) >> 20); // Thepandacoin: starting difficulty is 1 / 2^12
main.cpp:const string strMessageMagic = "Thepandacoin Signed Message:\n";
main.cpp:    // Thepandacoin: IsDust() detection disabled, allows any valid dust to be relayed.
main.cpp:    // Thepandacoin
main.cpp:    // Thepandacoin: This fixes an issue where a 51% attack can change difficulty at will.
main.cpp:                if (pindexLast->nHeight+1 >= 35) { DiffMode = 2; } // thepandacoin, 100 blocks after first legacy diff adjustment
main.cpp:               if (pindexLast->nHeight+1 >= 1000) { DiffMode = 2; }  //thepandacoin, Let early adopters have fun.
main.cpp:    // Thepandacoin: Special short-term limits to avoid 10,000 BDB lock limit:

main.cpp:unsigned char pchMessageStart[4] = { 0xfa, 0xbf, 0xb5, 0xda }; // Thepandacoin: increase each by adding 1 to bitcoin's value.
main.cpp:// ThepandacoinMiner
main.cpp:    printf("ThepandacoinMiner:\n");
main.cpp:            return error("ThepandacoinMiner : generated block is stale");
main.cpp:            return error("ThepandacoinMiner : ProcessBlock, block not accepted");
main.cpp:void static ThepandacoinMiner(CWallet *pwallet)
main.cpp:    printf("ThepandacoinMiner started\n");
main.cpp:    RenameThread("thepandacoin-miner");
main.cpp:        printf("Running ThepandacoinMiner with %"PRIszu" transactions in block (%u bytes)\n", pblock->vtx.size(),
main.cpp:        printf("ThepandacoinMiner terminated\n");
main.cpp:        minerThreads->create_thread(boost::bind(&ThepandacoinMiner, pwallet));

Failed launch.

hahaha didnt know that we're mining pandacoin after all. and the block rewards?? DUHH!! Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided
