TheKidCoin - the guy who abandoned FLT and is confirmed that he stole 50 BTC from QTM team.
Have fun.
That probably is him... thekidcoin did disclose in this thread that he was from Chicago. Also, see this tweet from the other former fluttercoin dev... https://twitter.com/TheCryptoEdge/statuses/485109169570054144He refers to him as "Dave" which fits the above info.

My wallet got out of sync a couple days ago by maybe 100 blocks and I haven't been able to get on the right chain since. Right now I'm on block 95936 while http://chainz.cryptoid.info/flt/ is showing 95867. I've tried deleting the blockchain and redownloading multiple times.

Wish I could join in on the skype meetings but you always hold them while I'm at work.
If we ever get a new dev I think we should switch to POS/POT only. POW is causing issues and most people seem to like POS only coins better these days anyway. Obviously the staking time would need to be shortened a lot to keep the blockchain going. POT will also help keep the blockchain from grinding to a halt should there not be enough people staking.
This would also drive people who want to mine to the multipool which would in turn drive the price up.
Pot happens on the block generation, it is not a separate thing, only thing that moves the chain is pow and pos. Good to know. Thanks for that.

I don't get why @thekidcoin comes out and says he's been on vacation today. He's been signing into this forum multiple times while on this "vacation". You couldn't bother to say, "hey guys I'm on vacation with the fam! Back soon..." He said he was working on new developments that would be released by now and he decides to take a vacation? Seems like a lie. So if you're going to lie, why not go for something more believable like, "my (son or daughter or wife or anyone else for that matter) had an accident and has been in hospital." Also, DON'T login to bitcointalk from your account during the silent period. Even if he just wanted some time off, don't go silent, just say something. Silence pisses people off, especially when they see that you're still visiting the forum. On a side note, @thecryptoedge was a developer for Fluttercoin along with @thekidcoin. You can see on his profile that he is still listed as a fluttercoin dev and a founding partner of QTM. This is interesting. @thecryptoedge and @thekidcoin didn't seem to get along as I understand from being in the irc and reading this thread. Here's a theory... what if one of the actual QTM devs puts the hidden block in the code. It gets discovered. @thecryptoedge hates @thekidcoin and sees this as an opportunity to use him as a scapegoat and decides to throw him under the bus. Of course @thecryptoedge and @thekidcoin could also be the same person. Who knows what really happened. Oh well!

We are also trying to contact the owner of the multipool, if he sees this or someone knows him, PM me.

It's time to open the throttle a little bit. - if you are in sync with explorer.fluttercoin.com please consider modifying your fluttercoin.conf to change connect to addnode, and changing listen to 1
Edit: I did sync twice today using this fluttercoin.conf, but there is a possibility of bad peers still in the network, which is why I suggest using the one with connect in them. - First part is from OP post for fluttercoin.conf, other addnodes are the same as connect, but this allows you to start joining other nodes, and syncing them.
fluttercoin.conf rpcuser=ofeefee rpcpassword=x rpcallowip=192.168.1.* addnode=54.203.244.170 addnode=54.203.244.27 addnode=54.199.237.235 noirc=1 listen=1 dnsseed=1 server=1 addnode=98.220.203.77 addnode=76.177.91.53 addnode=71.61.60.138 addnode=192.99.159.64 addnode=209.124.227.24 addnode=70.70.239.50 addnode=107.170.172.93 addnode=66.11.162.228 addnode=192.3.177.246 addnode=98.193.106.107 addnode=69.59.38.87 addnode=86.212.55.167 addnode=173.192.30.91 addnode=178.203.9.140 addnode=213.214.63.127 addnode=65.6.105.7 addnode=54.200.138.226 addnode=24.20.116.148 addnode=66.11.162.228 addnode=69.59.38.87 addnode=178.130.36.81 addnode=178.203.9.140 I guess I opened the throttle early, because I used your method for getting in sync and then immediately switched listen to 1 and changed the connect to addnode last night. I've stayed in sync the whole time...

Don't worry about compensating bitember miners for their loss. They are on the wrong fork, that's how it goes. I also lost 250,000 FLT while I was solo mining in the first few days due to multiple forks at launch. I didn't cry and/or ask for compensation. This stuff happens and you must be paying attention when it does. Bitember has also caused forks in the past because of their huge hashrate.

fluttercoin.conf with above added nodes that match explorer chain connect=54.203.244.170 connect=54.203.244.27 connect=54.199.237.235 connect=98.220.203.77 connect=76.177.91.53 connect=71.61.60.138 connect=192.99.159.64 connect=209.124.227.24 connect=70.70.239.50 connect=107.170.172.93 connect=66.11.162.228 connect=192.3.177.246 connect=98.193.106.107 connect=69.59.38.87 connect=86.212.55.167 connect=178.203.9.140 connect=65.6.105.7 connect=54.200.138.226 connect=24.20.116.148 connect=66.11.162.228 connect=69.59.38.87 connect=178.203.9.140 server=1 rpcuser=ofeefee rpcpassword=x listen=0 noirc=1 rpcallowip=192.168.1.* Use this to sync only, after you have synced up, you have some options.- change listen=0 to listen=1
- change connect to addnode
You can have performance issues as other bad nodes connect into you. This is normal until the majority of nodes resync (everyone needs to check this, if they haven't!). You can move back and forth as needed if you are trying to do something. I wouldn't try to do anything else at the moment, just hold... This worked for me. Thanks for that ofeefee!

I hope the thekidcoin speaks up soon. If not, the community should fork this coin and remove POW mining. The network hash is so low that you won't even need that large of a hashrate to fork the coin.

I finally switched from mining fluttercoin directly to mining at fluttercoinpool.com and it's going good. Being able to mine X11 instead of scrypt has been very nice as it's getting hot around here. Just received the first payment and it is larger than I was making mining fluttercoin directly. The multipool X11 shares report the wrong amount (about a third of your actual amount) but it still seems to be working fine. The dev says he's working on correcting that bug.
Hope to see more people move onto the multipool!
How much flutter are you mining now per 24h ? p.s. FLT donation accepted: FGCnn5WGAgYS7ct2Ym8x8dniPzi9sogmQX Yesterday my daily payout was 4340 FLT which is over double what I was previously mining each day.

multipool we need add to section GET STARTED - X11 configurations mining +1 they announce that it's working on twitter but don't update the multipool site with the port number info. It takes a second to add this to the website guys... I know you're busy. We're all busy, but if you're going to release something do it fully, not half-assed. Thanks!

C'mon people, let's get those votes in. Good times ahead. +1

Hi chaps... long time . I feel heartbroken flutter stopped following me on twitter just because I got out for a couple days. Very immature! regardless, I'm back, and hey I made lots of moneys on other coins, guess what I'm putting it into xD Great timing for you then, the price is perfect to buy back in right now. Take a chunk out of that 580 Satoshi sell wall. I just did.

BTW we should make a FLT top 100 club and start networking.
We already have this list of the top 100 ( http://agran.net/flt_getbalance.php?top=100 ). I don't think there needs to be a private club for the top 100 holders. I don't think we want this coin to be a coin of exclusivity, we want wide adoption. We should be making everyone feel welcome, whether they hold hundreds, thousands or millions of fluttercoins. Flutter for all!
