Hello UTC Team,

I have a question.
I want to send some coins to Bitrex exchange.
The Bitrex deposit wallet adress give the following warning :  The last block update occurred 489 minutes ago.
What does it means ?

My wallet is up to date and is syncd and has version v0.7.4.1-g-9-g23ef1a4-beta.
But still my send coins to Bitrex have in the wallet the 0/Uncunfirmed status for more then 1 hour.

Can the team members tell me what is happening ?

Thanks.

30th March 2016 in the morning Zulu Time  Smiley

NICE ACTION and NICE CONTEST !

CAN I QUADRUPLE THE PRICE POT Huh

SO I PUT AN EXTRA 20.000 UTC TO THE PRICE POT !
(time of deposit to the price pot 01-03-2016)

Please make a deposit adress Usukan, and i will deposit this 20.000 UTC directly to that pot .

So,  then we have a price pot of 25.000 UTC

 Grin

Just for fun - lets have a contest!

Its like this............

Guess the day that UTC hits 2000 ea (0.00002 BTC per UTC) - on Bittrex

Win 5,000 UTC = 10 million Satoshi = 0.1 BTC

Guesses in UTC time of course. UTC = Coordinated Universal Time.

Guesses must be date/hour/minute in UTC time.

Closest guess wins.

To claim - just re-post your guess on this forum when you think you have won. Include your UTC deposit address.  If you don't claim (re-post your guess) - you won't be considered for the prize.

I will check claims and make plump the wallet of the winner from my own funds.

Discussion not entered into and my decision will be final. Trolls excluded from entry.  Those are the terms and conditions that you accept on entry.

May the best guess win.

Cheers - usukan

Indeed very fine and nice to see what a necessary action and a little push in the right direction from Paul put’s things in motion now.
I really, really love it.
If this works and the right professional people stepping up and can work together with coding and further development than UTC can be great again.
But there must be, in my opinion, also a central contact person who can discuss and inform organizations and exchanges and keep Facebook and Twitter updated.
All in the name of Ultracoin.

Amazing...

Look at what happens when people stop begging, "Dear leader, please take care of things!"

rapture333 and Kracko were GROSSLY incompetent. If you read my correspondence with them, in this thread, it should be obvious! I was wondering... how many times do they have to be wrong before people will actually listen to reason and logic!

No matter. Hopefully, those little cancers stay away for good. Because I absolutely promise you, rapture333 will only make things worse.

I agree with alenevaa. Why reinvent the wheel with difficulty adjustment? Is there an argument against DigiShield?

An android wallet? Are you kidding me? That would be amazing!

UTC will have a niche at NF14. I personally believe NF15 caters to the most hardware, while also requiring less power consumption. If you look at prices/marketcap of the scrypt-chacha coins at NF15, it tends to agree with my theory. Of course, NF14 might be 'close enough.'

@Usukan, you are a very sharp man.

And i see you are a very serious and active UTC community member.

You have all my respect !

Why don’t you volunteer to be the new Dev-team manager ?  I will support you 200%

Kumusta and welcome to the UTC community Mr JM Erestain.

Thank you for your offer to assist this community - I am sure we are open to serious discussion of your offer.

It might be a good idea if you could give us a quick summary of your qualifications and experience in crypto and related areas.  I have had a quick look through your history here and you have certainly been doing some interesting things.

Checked your FB https://www.facebook.com/GMdpinoy13?fref=ts
How old are you?  About the same age as Vitalik Buterin - a plus in my books - look what he did.

Your site http://ph.newsbtc.com/ looks pretty good - is this really you?
https://www.facebook.com/newsbtcph/?pnref=lhc (note the link on your FB to NewsBTC needs the www deleted)

Do you know the guys from Coins.ph and Rebit?  Both great companies in your country, revolutionising BTC and I deal with them a lot (mainly Coins.ph).

You seem to be a straight up honest guy - with lots of energy.  This means a lot to me as we have a lot of scumbags in crypto.

Please get back to us with a few details and we can all discuss things here.

Maraming salamat po - usukan

If you are still in need of a marketing manager or a project head, I can fill in any of these roles.

Just was searching some time and found this out from the Bitcoin Conferences which UTC attend at in the past
and from public information on the www.

For anyone who is intereseted to contact Stevan/Rapture Nekhaila and want to ask him why did he left the Ultracoin ship and left the Ultracoin supporters, the Ultracoin community, the Ultracoin miners, the Ultracoin bag holders and the Ultracoin investors in the dark Huh

I guess Steven and Kracko are no longer interested in UTC and indeed, they are disappearing slowly in to the background and then disappear totally.

As Beave162 explained, Steven is not the owner or ceo of UTC.  So Beave162 is right.

If there could be some serious and professional people interested in taking over the lead of UTC and start a new UTC Dev-Team with a new Dev-Team Leader,  a (Coin) Lead-Developer, a Pool Operator and PR team leader, then UTC could have a fresh restart and gets probably a sunny future again.

It is still possible  Smiley
It is a good coin and everthing is there to go up again !
There is a community and investors and bag holders.
And there is a website, an forum and an FB and twitter account.
Also is there still one exchange where the coin is on.....

I can only wish that Steven wants to cooperate and is ready to give his authority 100% over to a new Dev-Team (if people are interested in that job).

I want to believe that Steven puts the future of UTC and the interest of all UTC community members, investors and bag holders above his own personal interest as PR and managing director job (in which he is absent for months now) and is 100% willing to release his authority and is willing also to relase the website account, the forum account and the Facebook and Twitter account and transfer all these accounts and logins to a new dev team (if people are interested in that job).

I know that Steven and Kracko are both UTC bag holders so it is also in their own interests that a new fresh and motivated Dev-Team starts and brings UTC to new heights in the crypt world.

@STEVEN :
Please give us an important news update or react on the above idea of searching and forming a fresh and new Dev-Team !?

You know rapture is not the CEO of the UTC company.

I know this is a crazy idea...

Someone could step up and be a leader. Create another website, restart a new thread, take charge and get that broken wallet fixed.

I know that is crazy-talk... Or you could just simply move on to a different coin.

Is the *decentralized* concept that drove crypto in the beginning completely dead?

PLEASE WAKE UP YOU ALL !

...SORRY TO SAY...

BUT WE KNOW IT ALL ALREADY FOR SOME TIME ;

ULTRACOIN IS ALMOST DEAD BECOUS THERE IS NO DEV-TEAM ANYMORE WHO IS LEADING THE COIN.

SO NO FUTURE ANYMORE FOR ULTRACOIN IF NOT A MIRRICALE WILL HAPPEN !

@STEVEN, it is realy realy time know you let us know what your plans are with UTC. Please dont let the UTC community and investors wait any longer !!!

If you hold any meaningful amount of UTC, I'd suggest spamming the devs to wake them up or organizing a takeover.

Yeah I think Steven has disappeared - end of the line until the takeover occurs unless Steven and a new dev or devs magically appears from the mist.
[/b]

unfortunately, this coin no longer has any "devs" to speak of. afaik kracko has stepped down (and rightfully so as from what i gather his schedule doesn't permit addressing such issues). Steven is a PR manager, and aleneeva is a pool operator...so there is no actual coin developer for UTC anymore.

Its been a long time (relatively) since I stepped away from all things UTC, but have followed along with this tragic tale. I know there are plenty of UTC bagholders out there just waiting for the grass to magically become greener...but that just doesn't happen out of sheer will. Unless someone (or a collective of persons) wants to front out the cold hard BTC to fix this shitstorm, then bagholders you shall remain.

The Devs must take responsibility right now and inform us !

They must take action very soon to organize and fix the technical problems and to set UTC back on track.

Steven and Kracko are hiding and that’s a bad thing.

UTC and the UTC community doesn’t deserve this. Too many people has invested in UTC.

We all must spamming the devs indeed. so they wake up and start taking action again.

Or the Devs must post here that they want to stop and that they want to find a new Dev team for takeover.

If Steven doesn’t let hear anything i guess it would not be hard to confront him in real life and ask him why he is absent.

Steven's family name is findable one this forum and i heard somewhere he is a manager of  a view supermarkets.

So it would not be very hard to find out were he lives and speak to him in real life, from face to face, and have a serious business conversation about the future of UTC

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ultracoin] [Est. Feb 2014] ~ ASIC Resistant & Ultrafast 6 Second Transactions! on: December 03, 2015, 08:18:45 PM

But alenevaa..... in my opinion it means that if there are only 2 peers connected, and online wallets are serious decreased, that the UTC network is very very slow ...

If anybody starts his wallet it stay's long time "out of sync" becous of very low connections.

Becous of that transactions (incomming and outgoing) takes very very long time, just becous there is no network of peers and connections...

So in my opinion it seems very bad for the "so famous" transaction speed of UTC and thus bad for UTC overall.

Or do i miss here something as a noob ?

Also, why are there not so many orphans these days with the stake amounts? Is this a result of the changes?

The pool wallet had more than 16 peers before fork has happened. Now it has only 2 peers connected.

The number of online wallets has been dramatically decreased. The less wallets are staking the less of the orphans.

Original ultracoin has exactly the same situation now. There are no orphans at all.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ultracoin] [Est. Feb 2014] ~ ASIC Resistant & Ultrafast 6 Second Transactions! on: December 01, 2015, 08:09:27 PM

It is to expect that Cryptsy dont come on line again and that everybody is scammed by BigVern, just like MTGoX, MintPal and other exchanges.
At least it looks like that way becous of the radio silence at cryptsy and BigVern. If you have coins at Cryptsy, like me (2BTC + 138K UTC), keep in mind you and i lost them (almost for shore).

Whit that said, if Cryptsy dont come online again, then we lose one of our biggest trading platforms for UTC.

If then also BittRex will shut down the trading of UTC, just becouse of to low trading volume, then is seems it will be over for UTC and the coin will die.

So were is Steven at this moment ?

What kind of actions are needed now Steven ?

And what can we al do  for UTC to stay arround ?

@STEVEN    ..... where are you ?

With  Cryptsy going down, UTC is on risk of being delisted of the last exchange bittrex :

Quote
This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on December 4th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC.

so the future doesnt look very good for utc...

So strange to see as bagholder,  i have arround 997.000 UTC in my wallet and it has now no more value as arround 4,2 BTC  Roll Eyes Cry

Does have the UTC management team or some serious community members a vision for 2016 about the potential development of value of UTC ?

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ultracoin] [Est. Feb 2014] ~ ASIC Resistant & Ultrafast 6 Second Transactions! on: October 21, 2015, 04:44:08 PM

+ 1

GO UTC TEAM. GO !!!!

The signs in the normal economics world are green and positive.
So the cryptcoin world will follow soon upwarts !

Hmmm, do you really think it is the teams fault ?

I remember they did a lot.
They invest a lot of private time.
They Invest a lot of private bitcoins for multiple purposes and developments.
They made it possible to participate at two large and  different crypto exhibitions.
They arranged before the first exhibition a lot of publicity.
They stayed positive and developed a new website and as I understand Steven and Kracko are still busy in the background with developments.

I think the problem is not the team but the market.
So many coins.
Serious coins and scam coins.
Next to that, the whole crypto market is since the beginning of 2014 in minor.
All the big coins are still down...for a long time... so why could do UTC it better then the rest ?

Next to that, don’t forget that a bank or an institution has a lot of investors and investing funds and payed professionals to do the job.
Every day again.
In this case the team invested private money and time and did everything next to their daily job and family.
For non professionals who did it all allone and by them selfs i give them applause.

And last but not least….
Onley a view good community members did helped from time to time the coin.
The rest sat leaning back and thought they could get rich quick.
A part of them were onley wining and crying, stalking and trolling.
They did nothing for the coin and did dent helped the team.
My advice for you dear pugman and for your "buddies" : Cry like a little cheerleader girl or better, look in the mirror and ask yourself some serious questions instead of blaming the team.

For me, I am not happy how things go.
But I accept how things went till now.
I have to.
I am bagholder and stay a bagholder and wish for better times.
I did invest in UTC, from the start, fully aware of all the risks. 100% aware.
And if not, if there comes no better time for UTC, than I accept it and I take my loss.
Without crying and blaming someone else !

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ultracoin] [Est. Feb 2014] ~ ASIC Resistant & Ultrafast 6 Second Transactions! on: August 14, 2015, 12:35:50 PM

Indeed.....
This community has a big part of profit seekers and speculators.
They want to speculate and want profit but don’t want to do anything for this coin.
They don’t want to donate some financial help or don’t want to help with expertise.

In the past there were several donations actions to help UTC.
Only a handful of true community members and believers helped by donating.
At those moments of need the biggest shouters and trollers kept quit or looked away till the storm was over.

Stevan asked many many times before for some expertise and help from the community.
And ques what: Again, at those moments the biggest shouters and trollers kept quit or looked away.

What can we expect of Stevan, Kracko, Fabian and Paul, serious members who invested serious private time and a lot of private money for this coin.
They cannot do this for ever by their own while the rest is sitting down and just are waiting what’s happening.
Shouting and trolling will not motivate them at all.
The need helpful expertise and some donating actions to bring UTC higher.

So sambiohazard you are totally correct:
If people start donating both, money & expertise, then this coin can survive.

I invested in the last 1,5 year about a view BTC for several donation actions for this coin.
This is the only thing I can do because I have no expertise at al.

But I believed and still believe in UTC and I have some money so this is what I could do in the past and I am willing to do it again in the future if needed.

I see at this moment the team is all about Steven and Kracko;  so guy's if you have some good ideas for UTC and need some donation actions please start them.

It is also a good possibility to check if this community (a part of them) want to put their money where their mouths shout loudly.
And it is also a good check if community members really love this coin and want to invest private time by helping this coin with their expertise to help Stevan and Kracko.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ultracoin] [Est. Feb 2014] ~ ASIC Resistant & Ultrafast 6 Second Transactions! on: April 28, 2015, 06:29:14 PM

Thank you for this update Stevan.
Please inform and update us like that 2 ot 3 times a month and everybody will be happy.

In the meantime, we all waiting full of excitemend and expectations.
Let's all use some of our coins and spend some to buy things to create a real market and even (if possile) to buy some new coins on the exchanges.

All of this will hopefully attract new observers who will turn soon into supporters and step inn as miners, day traders and investors in our beautiful coin so we  go upwards again.

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to touch base and let everyone know what's going on behind the scenes. Right now we are working out our monetary policy moving forward into Ultracoin's 100 million coin mark, this is a monetary policy that will set the block and staking reward for the next hundred years and beyond! We are taking our time planning out the schedule meticulously as I believe a currencies monetary policy is nothing to be overlooked, as you can see, many coins are already falling victim to hyper inflation or are suffering do to unfair distribution which has too heavily benefited the early adopters. This leads to consolidation of wealth and large dumps, not to mention that it fails to distribute the currency to the maximum amount of people possible, which is of course necessary for a healthily functioning crypto-economy. Especially for alternative currencies that don't have the widespread adoption and distribution like Bitcoin (yet I believe even Bitcoin will suffer do to 93% of the currency coming into existence by 2020 and 99% by 2028, hopefully crypto will become mainstream during this time http://tinyurl.com/b3an2g6).

As far as the coming N-Factor increase, this will be rolled back to NF15 during the next update, but until then expect the regularly scheduled increase to NF16 by tomorrow, Wednesday, April 29th, 2015. In order to have your mining rigs ready to mine Ultracoin please consult the following configuration generator for your specific GPU, this same configuration generator can be found in the About section of the official pools. http://cfg.ultracoin.net/

I am looking forward to releasing the future monetary policy of Ultracoin, and I believe it is something to be very excited about! Along with changes to N-Factor settings, we are really in a long term position for success. Looking forward to the future.

Sincerely,

Steven "Rapture"

@volyova.... can i ask you why you keep "feeding" trol's ?
Well, I guess 'cos I love 'em...in a crazy way...ha. They need love.

So you love a trol and feed that trol which is hurting and damaging Ultracoin consequently Huh

Do you understand this following;

 Shocked = shocked
 Sad = sad
 Angry = angry
 Embarrassed = embarressed
 Cry = cry

So do i understand right volyova that you are a renegade and like help feeding trols to put UTC in a bad situation ?

And if you dont want to hear my comment, please then read the wise comment from Beave ;

"......."
I also find it funny that people on here give you so much attention. "Don't feed the trolls" apparently means feed them as much as they want!
"......"

I don't help them, I mock them, which is a lot different lol

Wake up fellow UTC friend:

> you dont mock them
> you feeding them and giving them a place on stage

Please dont answer or mock trol's.
Dont feed them in any sort of way.
Otherwise you give them everytime a stage and make it only worsh becous trol's go on and on and on when the have a place on the stage....

Don't tell me what to do, man. It's rude and bad manners. Your way is not the only one.

You're helping them be disruptive - if everyone ignores them, they'll probably go away.
LOL, as I said before, I will do exactly as I choose, but thanks for caring!

Oh, I know. My point was to alert you to the fact you're being an ass to other people - it's always your decision as to what to do.

@wolf0

You are right but some guys are too proud and don’t except good advice.
Some guys are too cocky.
Tough behavior is more important to them, even if that damage dear ones or in this case damage our dear UTC.
Those guys (probably) never admit their wrong behavior and probably a new troll is born !

I admire people when they can say sorry and can change their wrong behavior.

Indeed there is maybe borne a new troll  Smiley

Thank you for the update Stevan !

Hello Ultracoin community members,

I apologize that I have been absent on the forums recently. I have been very busy in my professional and personal life lately, and have had some issues needing to be ironed out which I am almost fully wrapped up with now. Do not worry, I am still 100% here and active within the team, I will be making a point to be more active in the forum from here on out and answering any questions you may have more directly. I want to start off by saying, congratulations, we have made through year one of our long and continued journey! I believe 2015 will be a huge year for the cryptocurrency movement, and as cryptocurrencies begin to gain more and more traction in the financial ecosystem, I believe we will see a new dawn in cryptocurrency that the world has yet to fully embrace. Looking at the bigger picture, very few people are familiar with Bitcoin, what it is used for, let alone how it works. However, it is estimated that over 100,000 businesses now accept Bitcoin! This is a huge success for all of us, even the communities of other cryptocurrencies. As one of the greatest advancements of the 21st century, a decentralized, trustless, digital currency is now being used by a significant minority of the population. However, it is not significant enough, which means we have much further to go, but it also means that our opportunities are endless, and the future of cryptocurrency holds endless potential. Each year as the popularity of cryptocurrencies continue to grow, we continue to grow with it. We forgot as a community sometimes, that we are pioneers in an exciting new era of money, never before seen in the entire history of mankind. Economists have struggled for eons, attempting to understand, define and even manipulate money, for the first time in human history we have something so organic, so unique and so inherently rebellious that no one is quite sure how it will shape our economies and our world.

As Ultracoin turns 1 year old this month, we have made startling progress considering out short time here. Month after month, Ultracoin continues to grow and foster a body of dedicated community members, miners and investors. We are closing in on exiting the "catch-up" phase with our older brothers in the cryptocurrency movement, and are moving towards expanding in ways that will ensure Ultracoin stays unique and never a commodity. Yesterday, we had a meeting with two new potential developers, Travis and Claudio, whom will be entering our team and taking on projects. Travis has been familiar with Ultracoin for a very long time and accompanied me to Hasher's United in October, without him introducing me to Ultracoin, I most likely wouldn't be here serving you today. Claudio is a long time developer whom I had the pleasure to meet at the most recent North American Bitcoin Conference. The duo may post a more formal introduction with their various skills & talents later on, both of them will be joining the Ultracoin development team as passionate contributors! This is sure to take some of the weight off Kracko's shoulders and ensure more consistent content launches and a wider variety of projects in development.

As far as projects are concerned, the Android wallet is well on its way to launch, and as Kracko previously stated, the one click miner is nearing completion as well and set to rumble soon. These are both exciting tools for adoption, the one click miner will certainly attract new miners and make Ultracoin mining more easily accessible to beginner to advanced users. As the rise of ASIC mining continues to dominate popular algorithim's and most cryptocurrencies are struggling to keep their ASIC resistant asterisk, Ultracoin is still strongly ASIC resistant thanks to Scrypt-ChaCha. Our Android application will feature a full fledged wallet, include a re-design specifically for the Android platform, and encourage merchant adoption for brick & mortar retailers. I will be including several restaurants and shops in the Florida Keys into this list of accepted restaurants shortly accompanying this launch. Our road map for the future also includes several other projects, partnerships and opportunities including shopping cart plugins, online shops, mobile payment partners, and more.

For all of the community members that are with us today, I just wanted to say thank you for being a part of the wild wild world of cryptocurrencies with us, and choosing the Ultracoin community as your home. I believe that 2015 will be a huge year for cryptocurrencies, a major stepping stone for Ultracoin, and a another year of progress!

Sincerely,

Steven "Rapture"

@Stevan, you're very quiet and absent.

Why Huh
