@Pmalek shares during the teams ipo will start at a few dollars. We have funds set aside and have already started development of our promo video and mvp. The bigger picture we have is taking investments from crowdfunding in return for a stake in the company. We are currently working with legal On that. We have hundreds of individuals interested I the platform as of now.

@BigDippr

Thank you. Is this something you feel people would participate on and want?

Will the in-game shares be connected in any way to the real shares and their values of the corresponding sports teams?
For example, Juventus and Milan are both listed on the Milan stock exchange. If the value of their stocks on the Milan exchange skyrockets or plunges, will it affect the in-game value of the shares?

One more question. What affects the value of the in-game shares, only the results or other factors as well? If a team signs a superstar or sells an important player will that have an affect on the value of the shares?
@Pmalek
The shares on the platform won't be connected in any way to the real shares. This isn't a one time thing. This is like trading traditional shares. Individuals on the platform will dictate the buying and selling shares. In addition this isn't daily fantasy sports. The price of the share could be affected based on the teams performance, if someone gets traded, signed, or injured. Let me know if i should clarify further.

Should we make this global or just local to the US?
9  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain Sports Trading Platform on: January 27, 2019, 02:26:44 PM
I'm not getting at, but such project would benefit from Bounty a lot. Can help on that and SMM + pr as well.

Regarding the idea, I think it is better than 80% of projects I've seen and led (15 generally). Especially, once the platform is huge enough, you can get to clubs and say "Hey! How about deep partnership?". Also fantastic ads opportunities. Look at any online movies portals and their betting partners and ads.

Generally I like the idea. Don't know what stage are you on, but feel free to contact me, if you need help of mine or my friends/partners in crypto.  Smiley

P.S. May the crypto-love be with you!  Smiley
@kissnger we have a small team right now and will reach out if positions become available. More than likely there will be referral bonuses on the platform and bonuses on deposits.

We definitely are looking at forming partnerships and having ads in the future. Can you explain deep partnersp?

  • merchandising
  • clubs token listing on your platform (i.e. some clubs in Premier League did that and Juventus as well),
  • clubs might be interested to buy out shares, which would lead to bigger revenues,
  • again ads and partnerships. You know, many clubs sell their stadiums names. E.g. Allianz Arena (Bayern Munich). You might think in this way as well.

Regarding bounty, all you need is to have a token and spend some for that promo source. All bounty guys (thousands) and crypto sports fans will support you. Large numbers of supporters. And almost for free.
@kissnger
We are looking to stay away from tokens as we don't want to run into any issues with a security token and regulations. This platform will strictly only be a stable coin, btc, or eth

I'm not a legal specialist, but I think you can introduce a points evaluation system or even tokens (but no crypto) and estimate everything in points. In this case they can grow or fall. Otherwise I can't understand how is it going to happen. Or there will be any ratios? E.g. two teams play and there's a ratio how in betting?
@kissnger
Thanks, but we already have this planned out and this is our vision. From a legal aspect we've made the best decisions

The idea is nice. Betting v2.0. I'd participate in that. But do I understand it right, e.g. there's a game Real Madrid - Barcelona. Before the game I bet on Los Blancos and they win. What happens with my investment? Do shares go up? How and why?
@BitProfit.pro
We like to call it investing. If you purchase shares of have shares of Los Blancos and if they win, you will receive dividends and more than likely their share value will increase. Just like a traditional stock, the value will increase based on supply and demand.

I don't understand, if you don't actually own team shares, you basically own nothing right ? So who is paying out the money and based on what ? That is the part that is unclear to me.
@eckmar
 when people bet or invest, why do they do it? To win money, correct? Look at futures, people don't actually own the item, but they are betting on the underlying asset. This is the same thing our platform will do. There are several people who want this.

Who is paying out the money you ask; like anything stock, there is an ipo. Some of the funds from the ipo will go to each each teams divided pool. Afterwards trading can start on the platform. Individuals on the platform set the value. Each time a team is traded, a certain percentage goes to that team's divide pool. Also, let's say the Yankees beat the Cubs; a certain percentage of the Cubs dividend pool goes to the Yankees dividend pool and then some of that gets paid to the Yankees shareholders. This will bring more people watching games and feel like they own and benefit when their favorite team win.

Should i use a stable coin, btc, or eth?

Nice idea, would love to own a stake in a sport entity. If you're looking to do a comprehensive market research, asking random questions on here isn't the best way to go about it. You should define the opportunity you're offering investors in a clear and concise manner. Develop your research plan, hire someone (i can help here) or a firm to help. Collect as much information as you can an organized manner - e.g questionnaire. Analyze your data and you're good to go.
@cruso we aren't looking to hire as we have the team we need now. Three is already a similar platform using fiat that has been around for years and we are seeking to resolve several problems they have, mainly transparency and the ability to innovate.

How many leagues should be included in the platform

@SolomonGrandi tell me about your project? Was it successful?
18  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain Sports Trading Platform on: January 24, 2019, 03:14:58 AM
@craigpo

Why do you think people will be interested?
19  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain Sports Trading Platform on: January 23, 2019, 11:33:11 PM
@milanonymous we are currently not seeking additional help right now, but will be in touch if anything changes.

We see this as investing and not betting

@harizen

I completely understand your thoughts on transparency and legitimacy. That's the main reason we are utilizing a stable coin to track where the money goes. As a security layer with the stablecoins we are considering using, there is a mechanism build in that will reverse transactions if fraud is determined. we thought of multiple ways to protect individuals which is why the stable coin is the option and currency to use the platform. Regulated stable coins include usdc and gusd. In addition our names will be all on the platform. The funds will be in cold storage which is another security layer we have.

Why do gamblers or investors trust other sites with no transparency? This site will be completely transparent to everyone who uses the platform.

We plan on investing into this project very soon. Let me know if you're interested in joining our mailing list.
