Mijn eerste aanrakingen met bitcoin in 2015 denk ik. Wist al wel van bitcoin, maar kocht toen mijn eerste bitcoins om te voorkomen dat ik via PayPal niet zou worden gechargebacked. BTC was toen rond de sub $100, $100-300. Ik keek een aantal weken niet op mijn wallet en toen was het opeens 50% meer waard geworden bijvoorbeeld. Wel veel winst met BTC gemaakt en dat later geïnvesteerd, bv in ETH. Nu maak ik deel uit van een private team dat zich focust op ICOs/IEOs en dat met de bonussen uit de private sales veel winst kan maken op de exchange listings.

Betekent niet dat er geen winstmarges opzitten. Mijn team probeert een allocatie te krijgen in private pre-sales van ICOs en dan verkopen de meesten van ons het als de coin/token op de exchange komt voor zo'n 3-4x. Met IEOs kan dit ook.

Je hebt gelijk. Natuurlijk is van het overgrote deel van de ICOs niets terechtgekomen. Dat noemen we in de ICO scene 'vapourware', projecten die alleen maar money grabs zijn gebaseerd op een white paper. Maar daarnaast zitten heel veel projecten ook nog zo erg in de beginfase zonder werkend product. Ze zijn de opgebrachte miljoenen niet waard.

Ik snap je punt en het is een legitieme vraag, ik heb het me ook afgevraagd. Maar ik houd me niet zo erg bezig met de technische details. Zo lang ik winst kan maken, blijf ik doen wat ik doe.

Mijn team focust zich nu vooral op IEOs. Mijn leider is in gesprek met Algorand en NuCypher. Ook zijn we bezig met Starkware, maar dat is een private equity.

If there's enough demand within our team we can try to negotiate a deal for the private (pre-)sale.

Requirements for the task you’ll be performing within the team are: have at least one to two years experience in crypto/ICOs and be able to attend meetings multiple times a week (online). We prefer someone with a business, computer science or IT education and/or with experience in investing in stocks and/or real estate.

Het team waar ik deel vanuit maak, is op zoek naar een cryptocurrency investeerder/researcher. Recentelijk richt het team zich op IEOs en we zijn op zoek naar iemand die veel ervaring heeft met het investeren in ICOs/STOs/IEOs en hier ook veel onderzoek naar heeft gedaan.
