1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 04, 2015, 01:18:54 AM
Why did it take until today for Lizard to step down? Why did he continue to ban people for asking legitimate questions up until now?

Anyone with any ethics would have left GAW a long time ago. There could be zero doubt once the 1 satoshi payouts started.

Happy to be wrong Lizard, care to elaborate on how you see it?

Nope cause I'm tied to an NDA. I also highly doubt that you would know who I've personally banned or who I didn't ban (or which bans I've revoked). I invite you to read through my post history and read it well before judging over me. Anyway, I just came by because I heard that my post had been shared in this thread.

Sorry to see you gone, you were one of the best MODS on there

Cryptsy: Dumping 40 million coins (2 days mining) will drop us to 2 satoshis Sad

What has happened to the buy support??

Anyone got any stats for the other exchanges, hopefully they are looking better! Smiley

Just got this from Bitstamp...

thank you for your email. Unfortunately, none of the addresses which you have specified belong to Bitstamp or its customers.

We are nevertheless looking into the matter and are vigilant on not letting the stolen bitcoins go through Bitstamp's wallets.

Should you have any additional qustions or info, please feel free to share

These are the addresses I sent:

https://blockchain.info/address/14S6kiHzVNcSCA9TCiPaEGJfSiP1HHokEd
https://blockchain.info/address/122JyMtGtiiP4mMFn86tAGfrqiyhXAnrrk

so who's addresses are they? Smiley

Hmmm, It's a weird one, 3 gigantic addresses are linked together and there's no real proof of exactly what they are. I can't believe it's not an exchange
the two listed above are active now, the older address that sent to both of them is below and ran from Jan-Jun
https://blockchain.info/address/1FVcMfHXPp8JSCduYyELzQZf6X4tSv89ho?offset=1050&filter=0

I'm amazed you can have 3 such huge and active addresses and no real proof of who they belong to by searching google.
Bobba, those 2 addresses i thought were Stamps, well the 183k one mainly, when Stamp do their proof of reserve the amount of btc i remember them having was 183k so thought it was theirs but obviously not

It might not be too important because it was only a small amount of btc sent there, the vast majority of the stolen coins are sitting in the addresses i listed, so i'll be keeping an eye on them.

I know most people hate coloured coins or blacklisted coins, but it would be great if Bitcoin had some way of marking those coins so everyone knows they are scam coins and basically made them impossible to cash out.

no worries, so might have jumped the gun with Bitstamp but better to be safe than sorry, at least we know it's not them...

On legal approach for this personally I don't think it matters where the coins ended up, rather that they were under Ryan's control and he took them.

If it is not Bitstamp it must be one of the other large exchanges ... worth sending this info to the rest of them?

If nothing else we can rule them out, when you find out which one it is they may be able to link the name of Alex/Ryan
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Mintpal / Moolah Scam - 5,200 BTC Now Missing!!! - Report Missing Funds on: October 20, 2014, 01:05:05 PM

Finally got my DRK coin today after waiting two days since I submitted the withdrawl request.

Just my BTC stuck now. What does everyone think will happen?

Reading between the lines it seems evident that some will be missing, so do you think they will do a % payout ... ie. 40% of funds missing, 60% of everyones balance returned in BTC? Or is that being optimistic?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★ [CAIx] ★ 100% PoS ★ Wallet update ★★★★ on: October 19, 2014, 02:12:09 PM

Does anyone know of the address for the Mintpal Caix wallet?

That way we can track how many are still in there.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★ [CAIx] ★ 100% PoS ★ Wallet update ★★★★ on: October 19, 2014, 02:01:56 PM

Got all my CAIx out of Mintpal, seems that is one coin that you can recover.

Got most other Altcoins as well ... but DRK and BTC still stuck Sad
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Mintpal / Moolah Bankruptcy and Missing Coins - 412 BTC Reported Missing on: October 18, 2014, 08:28:11 PM

Received all my coins apart from DRK and BTC.

Drk seems to have problems, but some people have received coins.

As far as I know no one has received any BTC yet ... and Moolah have not made any comment about it, which is worrying.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Mintpal / Moolah Bankruptcy and Missing Coins - 412 BTC Reported Missing on: October 17, 2014, 10:45:31 PM
anyone can withdrew coins from MintPal V2 ? why i put the address in the bar and press save than the address disappear?

I have same problem as do a lot of people ... if you clicked save before entering all your wallet addresses it won't let you fill the rest in and update it. All the other coins are stuck on blank fields and it will not let you update them with a wallet address Sad

Can't find a solution anywhere, but lots of people seem to have the problem and changing browsers, clearing cookies, using a different PC etc. doesn't solve the problem.

Anyone got any ideas? Anywhere to report the bug where they actually read the comments?

Missing coins:

BTC: 0.62
Caix: 200
DRK: 4
Dodge: 400000
Via: 9
VTC: 45

I filled in the form with my SILK and DGB addresses as a test ... these arrived ... but now the form is stuck with blank fields for the other coins and 'withdrawl status requested'. When I enter other addresses and click save they just disappear.

Anyone else got this problem and know how to reset the form?

Anyway to put in a support ticket?

50,000 DOGE to anyone who can solve it for me!

To reset this & withdraw other coins just use this link below

https://www.mintpal.com/security   All you have to do is then use the LOG out tab on the LEFT & then just log back in again, the address bar should then rest

This definitely works as my friend has done this several times to take out other coins

To send a ticket to support just click on the support tab top right...weird thing is the link takes you to a Moolah support page?Huh??

Please send the 50,000 DOGE to this address  D7yaVCXpnoJwCKjPG2E5QXF41HrzkrFPyg

Thanks, but same problem ... I log back in and all remaining coins have blank address window with 'Withdrawl status requested' ... when I fill them in and click save they disappear and go back to blank boxes Sad

Any other ideas? 50,000 DOGE still up for grabs.

With this news it seems like all funds are not lost but let's wait till people can get their coins back. The big question is why did moolah bought mintpal?
ITs obwius that he bought mintpal to steal coins from it ..and its obwius that he dumpedour XMRs weeks ago and taked the money

Yeh, he bought mintpal for steal coins and run..

Hmmmm ... A bit weird, some of the big Mintpal wallets for other coins still have all the funds in. E.g. BHL9DRJgQmccTvw4aZwj2wtg94xpA5Y1XV still holds 20% of Silkcoin and is a confirmed Mintpal wallet. If they were going to run off with the coins would they not take all of them??
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Total DGB in circulation on: September 05, 2014, 01:01:44 PM
How many DGB is in current circulation?

YC

If we are on block 154,644 then wouldn't it follow that we're in the neighbourhood of 154,644*8000 = 1,237,152,000 DGB out there? This does not obviously take into account the block reward reductions, or the initial blocks that I think had a higher block reward... but should be a ball park figure?

...or is my math out?

1,347,082,444 DGB (Ref: Coinmarketcap)

Ha...  I was only out by 110 million'ish  Roll Eyes

Good estimate! As you said that was just not accounting for the pre-mine ;-)

can't wait to start trading Smiley

You've been doing this on more than 10 coins, what's the point of telling everyone your address? You want free coins? Get involved in the community, maybe one day you'll receive some, till then it might be considered spam.

Good spot!

His recent post history is comical.

Ugh, the stupid miner crashed for the night while I was mining skein... And I can't get down in the basement to reboot... Ugh 12 hours of wasted time. Costs me 34 cents to run the thing while it's frozen Sad

Just venting my frustrations lol

Bird,

Just a heads up (or maybe a question as to why), but your Groestl pool has recently been making weird payouts that don't include all the miners currently mining.

Three recent examples are blocks
149981
http://insight.dgb.cryptopoolmining.com/block/0d03fd75bee18864fcaa97457da1defd54e8f75fde8e9ef260f00aa2027440ed
(where there was only one address paid to that isn't even mining)

150240
http://insight.dgb.cryptopoolmining.com/block/dd1f60e865d52fdc02561af3a5367d70a55ff51e9ed76eaae11fb620e38c4faa
(two addresses that aren't mining either)

150452
http://insight.dgb.cryptopoolmining.com/block/1230681f657d4bf2d0d6907bbad7e7c1e540065c9b8281378d8a5212e49b3add
(same two as above that aren't mining)

What's up with this?

...:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::...

On another note, just for fun I took a peek at address D96y4y74NUegfYJ8yn9chxbPLrRiypCF6V and there's been around 40 payouts to that same address since block 150452, and almost always the same exact amount: 6117.69330151 DGB, and those are not coming from Bird's Pool.

Huh

The D96y4y74NUegfYJ8yn9chxbPLrRiypCF6V address massive payout looks like a possible red flag to immediately investigate. Almost a quarter a million DGB in a couple of hours!!!

Add: Another 61,000 or so in the last 30 minutes - at that rate, the take down would be just shy of 3 million a day (or almost 14% of theoretical production and 20% of actual discovery). Could that really be legit? With the payouts I saw from Bird's pool that should have gone to other addresses, I seriously doubt it.

Add 2: It's all Groestl and Crypto Hunger has got the hashrate to do this ( http://cryptohunger.com:81/tbs ) the sporadic payouts suggest this might be the case. But, the 2 payouts from Bird's pool? Orphans?

Wow, if that's the case, we're getting a concentrated hashrate issue due to someone not releasing all of his "proprietary" code . . .

Monopolization is a real issue in a supposedly decentralized crypto world.

Add 3:     srcxxx, I've sent you a PM alerting you to the fact that your proprietary pool currently, as of this writing, has over 50% of the DGB Groestl hashrate.

Interesting stuff ... but with 50% of Groestl that is still only half of one algorithm, i.e. 10% of the network. So not a huge issue.

There are some big hitters soaking up the rewards for the less popular algos (ie. not scrypt or Sha) and some of those are solomining ... be interesting to see how it works out in a few days after everything has calmed down.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re on: September 03, 2014, 02:14:22 PM
I was able to send 2000 to my Cryptsy account but if I send anything larger than that (say 5000 with a wallet of 700000 coins) it gives that error. The success sending any coins right now is wildly inconsistent. What could be the cause for this? This is not normal.

Devs any ideas?

Were you running the old wallet prior to your update above? IE. past the fork @ block 145,000?

45 minutes left on Nicehash and then i'm out of mining but will buy some more on exchange just waiting to see what the price will do.

Goodluck to you all

Thanks for everything 24 ... couldn't have got this far without your help!

Make sure you look after those coins ;-)

THX to both of you. You pushed it over the weekend very hard! Just saw the effort on pools and here in the forum. Thx again for pushing it hard!

Don't forget tdcooper99 and all the other miners they all did a pretty good job!

,24

Yes tdcooper99 deserves a special mention too ... especially as he nearly burnt his house down trying to get us there!? (Ask him to pm you the pics ... scary stuff)

As mentioned it was a combined effort though, lots of people dedicated whatever they had for the last five days and it all counted. Others came and went, but it was the grand total of all that hash that got us to this point ... thanks to everyone for their contribution little and large.
