Not to rub salt in the wound, and just an honest question, but I don't understand why people keep large amounts of any coin on an exchange and not in a protected wallet. I guess the only thing I can see is if you are actively trading, but even then, it seems like the xfer fees and hassle are worth it seeing how relatively easy it is to steal coins. I hope Mintpal can help you out. |

Error initializing database environment
I get this every time I run the wallet.. if I clean out the the roaming folder, it works, but I have to download everything again. Once it works and I close it out and open the wallet again, I get that error... wtf is going on.

Well there are several, but none that I know of that actually store and record your drivers license and picture of your face? I may be wrong... In Canada we merely show our ID to buy liquor and smokes, no databases yet. A hypothetical situation that should be considered... Your at a border crossing or get pulled over for a speeding ticket and are now facing additional scrutiny and possible searches due to purchases you made. This database of "drug users" provides an additional weapon to those keeping tabs on us. They only other way would be to apply for some kind of access card that would allow you to use the machine, but they are still going to have to verify your age somehow, most likely through picture ID. Makes sense to me... you're best bet is going into a dispensary and just showing your ID if you don't want it in some database. |

This coin is not a bad idea, but I never liked the cleanwater charity group because just focusing on giving people clean water is not enough.
Most smart people in 3rd world countries will boil or filter unclean water, collect rainwater and water from clean sources, they will not drink out of puddles in the middle of a paddy with a cow standing overhead like some pictures suggest.
Another thing, if your life really sucked and you have spent all your life drinking filthy water, you wake up the next day with cleanwater, would it really matter? It still doesn't change much.
What is important are the people need to be educated, then gain employment so they can afford decent dwellings. That is what charities should focus on, building up the local economy.
WTF are you talking about? There are parts of the world where water cannot be "filtered" by anything. Also, do you really think they are out there boiling all there water? Do you know the time and energy it takes to boil just a small amount of water, much less collect condensate, which is really need for extremely polluted water. Many people drink from a major water source such as a river that you and I wouldn't go within 100 yards of, I really don't think you have a clue as to what you are talking about. |

Seems like they're heading towards 'initial pump and dump forever' territory, as they're becoming a dime a dozen. It's really, really hard to regain investor confidence in coins that have gone from the sky to flatlining, all in the matter of a few hours...and continue to drop hard for weeks. It's psychologically devastating, and people don't want to dip their foot in the pool for fear it will be ice cold. Be it manipulation, lack of interest, excessive supply, or a combination of them all...it's just not looking good for these national coins. I want to believe maza will be the first to follow through with its promises, so I'll keep supporting from the sidelines. But I just can't lose all my btc in this stuff, especially when there are a lot of other quick flip opportunities. I really hope one day this stuff is worth $1 a coin...not for investors, but for the poor people of the tribe that really need it. Umm.. well yeah, if all you're looking for is a quick flip, of course all the new national currency coins are not going to be for you. For any of them to gain value, it's going to take some time for them to be adopted, if they ever are... Maza is about the only one I think actually has some real potential because of the state of the Lakota nation and their quest for sovereignty. I wasn't asking because I expect this coin to jump in price so I can dump, I was asking because there has been varying news about what is actually going on with the coin and the Lakota. |
