1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: February 04, 2023, 12:59:00 PM
Up until now I have not really thought about getting involved with XRP however have been doing more research and if they win the case feel it could really do well.

With a market cap of $21m already, how high can this really go if all goes well?

Think I may start to DCA into it and if it does win the case then who knows how high it can go, wouldn’t be surprised if it still did a 15x or more from current price.

Are you for or against XRP?

For now xrp is good since this is fast and cheaper option if you want to escape the huge fee of bitcoin also with other alts. But if you are looking forward to invest on this coin then better take some extra precaution and always follow the news to avoid unwanted incident then follow what good updates happening on xrp ecosystem. SEC issue for now is not a big deal for other investors but we still need to aware of everything about it.
Hey there! If you're thinking of using XRP as your go-to crypto, you're making a wise choice! This baby is lightning fast and super cheap compared to other big players like Bitcoin. But listen, if you're planning on investing in XRP, you gotta stay on your toes, okay? Keep an eye on the news, stay informed about what's going on in the XRP world. And yeah, there's this whole SEC thing going on right now, but don't freak out, it's not a big deal for most folks. Just be aware, alright? Cool.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - take profits or continue to DCA? on: February 04, 2023, 12:52:12 PM

Is anyone taking profits or are most of us just DCA?

I can say taking profit is always right, but if you are thinking of selling bitcoin and then switching to altcoins, then I suggest you stop. It is true that altcoins will offer higher returns than bitcoin, but the risks are also more significant. You also saw 2 crashes of the top 2 altcoins in 2022, and you made a wise decision to invest in bitcoin, not altcoins. You should keep your stance on bitcoin and DCA instead of shifting your investment to altcoins which are not recommended even if those are the top coins.
I hear you loud and clear on the taking profits thing, that's always a good move. But when it comes to switching from Bitcoin to altcoins, I gotta say, hold up. Sure, altcoins might promise higher returns, but with that comes much higher risk. Let's not forget those two big crashes from the top altcoins in 2022. You made a smart choice by going with Bitcoin instead. So why even mess with success? Stick with what's working for you, keep your investment in Bitcoin and keep on DCA-ing, instead of going down the altcoin rabbit hole. Trust me, it's not worth the headache.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next better altcoin? on: February 04, 2023, 12:40:12 PM
BTC and ETH both undoubtedly safe to invest at any time but why people’s investment on other new projects because they need early profit which is not happen in BTC or ETH. New project is always risk because i have seen 90% is scam at end of the day right now.
There are very many new projects that end up being scams and that's why investing in new projects is very risky,
indeed sometimes someone wants to take risks but it needs really mature consideration,
it is better to invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum which for long term investment is much safer.
I think it only becomes very risky if one randomly invests on them but for someone who knows what he is up to (does a proper research) then they can possibly avoid the scam coins. They will also know how to prioritize the old coins, so that they can still get something and possibly recover what they have lost from investing in new coins.

If our goal is to earn quick profits then that is still possible with the old coins most especially Bitcoin as it was a highly volatile asset. We can use it for trading other than short-term investing. If we still can't get enough then we can also engage in gambling (casino or sports betting) both can also offer quick profits as long as we are lucky of course.
First of all, it's true what you said about doing your research. If you know what you're doing and you do your homework, you can avoid falling for scams and bad investments. And prioritizing the old coins like Bitcoin? That's smart. Those coins have been around the block, they've proven themselves, and they're more likely to bring you some return on your investment.

But let's talk about quick profits, 'cause that's what everyone wants, right? If you're looking to make a quick buck, then yeah, Bitcoin is a great choice. It's super volatile, so you can make a killing if you play your cards right. But if you're feeling lucky, why not try gambling? Casinos or sports betting could give you a shot at making some big bucks in no time. Just remember, it's all about luck, so don't bet more than you can afford to lose.

In conclusion, investing in cryptocurrencies can be risky, but if you do your research and invest smart, you can minimize the risk and maybe even make some quick profits.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: February 04, 2023, 12:31:25 PM
as long as binance could keeps their reputation good, investing in BNB would be always worthwhile the thing with investing in BNB is that the coin itself highly utilized in their platform and there's always some stake program that involves the use of BNB, even holding BNB might give you some rewards, binance in this regard working really hard in keeping its value high that I think it wouldn't just collapse like ftt, it's completely different coin with different system.
BNB, Binance Coin, is one heck of a cryptocurrency if you ask me. It's been killing it in the market and staying on top for a reason. People trust it, plain and simple. And why wouldn't they? Binance, the exchange platform backing it, has been working hard to make sure that BNB stays valuable. Plus, holding onto BNB can actually get you rewards! How cool is that?

Long term investment in BNB? No brainer, my friend. As long as Binance keeps up their reputation and stays committed to the growth of BNB, you'll be in good hands. Trust me, this coin won't just collapse like some other cryptocurrencies out there. BNB is in a league of its own with a system that sets it apart.

So, in conclusion, if you're thinking about investing in BNB, go for it! It's a solid choice with a promising future.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: August 18, 2020, 05:33:12 AM
Crypto rankings are needed to perform analysis and convince us to see what type of coin we are going to buy. But not based on confidence in the rating, it must be true that we stick to the development of the coin, not the rating.
I totally agree with you. Crypto ratings can be beneficial if we know how to use it. I personally take crypto rating as a preference to do my own researches. However, it is important to choose which crypto rating site we will use. Because many crypto rating sites are manipulated by developers that rate their projects unrealistically. You're right that we should stick to the developments of the coin itself!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest in any cryptocurrencies! on: August 18, 2020, 05:15:06 AM
Yeah they should treat crypto as another form of money, a digital money. But in crypto we have more opportunity to earn. Yes, in traditional money we can also earn by trading our national money thru forex exchanges but the movement of their prices is pretty stable unlike in crypto we can witness a huge increase, that is the opportunity everyone is waiting, you are correct it is not a get rich quick scheme it will not happen in just 1 day it needs time and patience.
That's true. The cryptocurrency market provides a faster way to increase your capital over a night. The reason is that the cryptocurrency market is volatile more than all other markets. However, in order to make sure that you will earn money instead of loose money, you have to equip yourself with proper knowledge, skills, and experience in this market. Some people are frustrated about this market because they think it's easy to earn money in this market, but in the end, they lost their capital.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone waiting for v2.0 but... on: August 18, 2020, 05:10:29 AM
They already provide information that the Ethereum 2.0 launch would be divided into 3 phases until it was finished at the end of 2021. Indeed, many people are waiting for the launch of the new Ethereum platform, because they believe the price of ETH will increase dramatically after that.
Isn't that a right thing to expect? We all can see right now even the hype about ETH 2.0 can positively affect the market, which makes BTC, ETH and some altcoins increase lately. It would be a good thing if ETH and other altcoins can pump dramatically after the launch of ETH 2.0. I believe so! Not only me but also a lot of traders and investors believe in the same thing! They also expect that the pump of ETH can create a bullish season for altcoins.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are buying when the price is going up and not when it is down on: August 17, 2020, 07:03:41 AM
Because not everyone can read a chart or doesn't know TA. They thought it is always the good time to buy well some cases it is but TA is very important coz it helps you to identify and analyze statistical trading trend.
True! In general, they don't know the proper knowledge, skills, techniques, and experiences to invest in this market. There  is always a golden rule that is "buy low sell high". Buying when the price is going up is also a common phenomenon of FOMO (Fear of missing out). That's the result of letting emotions affect decisions, and it's extremely harmful.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons Why am I adding as many Ethereum bags as possible? on: August 17, 2020, 06:55:30 AM
No wonder if the Ethereum price keep rising, the ETH 2.0 update seems make significant change on Ethereum value.
As bag holders, it is very recommended to adding more ETH coin in your portfolio indeed. ETH is a very good coin to hold it for long term.
Yeah, I think the same too! There is no doubt that ETH will keep rising its value from now on. Therefore, holding ETH is a good choice right now. The increasing of ETH value right now is just part of the effects of ETH 2.0. Even the "hype" about ETH 2.0 can help ETH to raise, do you think the launching of ETH 2.0 can help it pump to the moon? Let's see!
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for legitimate airdrop / giveaway on: August 17, 2020, 06:43:23 AM
Looking for a legitimate airdrop is really hard, what you need to do is to participate in every airdrops to at least have a chance of being part with one legit airdrop. Because today, even in airdrops, there are so many good to be true airdrops that end up being a scam or just a waste of time.
That's so true! Since doing airdrops doesn't take a lot of time like doing bounty campaigns. Therefore, it wastes our time if we use a lot of time do find a legitimate one. Instead, just join a bunch of airdrops and the results will come. However, if you intend to do bounty project, you have to do really careful researches in order to find a good bounty!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: August 17, 2020, 06:21:30 AM
i don't think they kill the project. the bounties and airdrops help the project a lot. imagine that the project without the bounties, the world won't know about the project. if the token/coins prices dump, i think it's because the projects run by some amateurs team member. the projects will die if the team abandoned their project and do not create the product properly.
I agree with your opinion, dude! Bounty hunters have a job to promote the projects. It makes no sense if they try to dump the projects when the bounty campaign is finished. The reason is that there's no benefit for them to do so! A project will be dumped because of itself, not anyone else! A weak project will dump anyway, do not use bounty hunters as a bullet shield!
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non DeFi projects starts going DeFi on: August 13, 2020, 09:45:26 AM
Be suspicious of any projects that just decide to implement DeFi all of a sudden when DeFi wasn't implemented in the project's features from the beginning, this is nothing but a way to take advantage of DeFi Hypes going on nowadays, if you are a deep crypto fan like myself you should be seeing few old projects that aren't DeFi from birth and start talking about implementing DeFi feature, I'm 100% against this act as it's unclean and dangerous
This is so true! When a hype comes up in the market, a lot of projects will follow the hype just to attract people. Those projects are more likely to be a low qualification project that doesn't have any strengths. If you're involving in any project that suddenly claims it as DeFi project, just drop it! I strongly disagree with those projects which always wait for a hype to follow! Believe me, you'll get nothing from those projects!
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the project is fake? on: August 13, 2020, 09:33:43 AM
There are many ways to identify a fake project such as one of their presence and answers to investors' questions and a trusted exchange of ICO identities. Keep views project team everyone's profiles and locations, research their products, even if any of the information they provide is questionable or unreasonable then think that the project is a hoax.
for some projects maybe we can identify it ourselves. however, for professional scammers, it can be difficult to do research on your own. sometimes you need help from forums to do that. however, there are still quite a few people asking about project scam on this forum, and it really helps.
That's true! There are some obvious tricks that we can realize at the first time seeing it. However, scammers always get smarter and smarter. Sometimes, we can't even know we are involving in a scam project until it turns out to be a scam one! Doing researches are helpful, though, sometimes scammers are miles ahead us that we can't realize anything! Consulting other advice and feedback is a good way too!
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Gas transactions price is about to hit 300 on: August 13, 2020, 09:28:18 AM
I hope ETH 2.0 will be released soon and transaction fee issue will be solved. We can't switch to another coin because most of altcoins now are based on ETH blockchain network.

Even with the ETH 2.0 launch, it will take at least a year for the transaction fees to go down because AFAIK ETH 2.0 will be launched in three phases. Phase 0 which is now phase 1 which is mainnet without smart contracts and phase 2 which will include smart contracts.
That's so true! In my opinion, launching ETH 2.0 not only can't reduce the fee but also increase them! As we can see, many people are waiting for the launch of ETH 2.0. The reason is that they believe when ETH 2.0 launched, there will be a bullish season for altcoins. Therefore, it can be a factor to even skyrocket the ETH transactions fee!
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bankera..3 years after ICO...a money grab ICO??? on: August 12, 2020, 11:15:36 AM
hello everybody
we are scammed by Bankera , what can we do ?
If you were scammed by bankera and as an investor and what you can do to create a report about this scam project. You can find some US investors who have been getting scammed by this scam project and let them create a report for SEC.
Yeah I think some of the U.S investors are bringing Bankera to SEC. However, it will take a lot of time and money for taking them to the court. That's worthy if you lost a lot of money in Bankera. Though, if you lost not too much, the best thing you should do is to move on from the failure and consider it as a lesson that you learned in a hard way!
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: August 12, 2020, 11:10:26 AM
I think some of the reasons why lots of people tend to get scammed easily is because they are so trust-worthy and that they believe that this crypto-world can change their lives for the better. Another, is that they have no idea or lack of idea on the project they are involved with.
That's true! Specifically, all of that happen because people don't have knowledge and understanding about the market. They jump into the market without learning anything. Therefore, they can't know which is right which is wrong. That's why they easily got scammed by scammers. I always advice for newbies that they should spend time to learn before investing in anything!
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So every dead project that adding "DeFi" to its name, pumping 100000% ? on: August 12, 2020, 10:44:37 AM
What the hell?

every dead project, with no development team that add's defi to his name, get a 100000% pump?

That's the Defi Hype season?

At the moment, this works 99 percent of the time, the ICO boom has taught us nothing, and in the end we are waiting for a painful fall.
I'll be a bit skeptical about the statistic. 99% of the time?? How can? However, it's right that the hype can raise up a dead projects. The stats seems to be overreacted, though, it's true basically. I believe that a lof of experienced traders and investors have learned the painful lesson from the ICO hype, therefore, they'll not easily be scammed again. New traders and investors should be aware of this hype!
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never give up on: August 10, 2020, 08:14:54 AM
The character and traits that I've learned in this crypto world is being persistent, being risk taker and also be optimistic even if you see a fall down because the volatility of the market but looking at the brighter side, it will really help you any many way if you just trust and never give up on this industry.
Same as me! Since I joined the market, I've learnt that being persistent, optimistic and patient is extremely important when you want to do any kind of business not only in the cryptocurreny market. I know that this market contains a lot of risk that people easily fail in traps of scammers. However, the lesson that we remember the most is the lesson that we learn in a hard way! Never give up and move on, you'll find success someday!
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Stable coin is the Best for Investment This Year on: August 10, 2020, 07:52:43 AM
I don't get what the OP means . The name stable coin says that they are stable with some form of Fiat mostly USD . So you are not getting anything by investing in stable coins.

lol, your post got me cracking Grin, i guess the op is not fully aware about the nature of stable coins or he must misinterpret what he meant, whatever the case maybe, it has been said already, stable coins are not for investment rather they are mostly for preserving what you have, i think op needs to go back and do some more reading or we need to do some more reading. Cheesy
LOL! That's so true guys. I think the OP misunderstand between stable coins and altcoins maybe?? Stable coins such as USDT is created in order to give traders and investors a way to store their values without being affected by the fluctuations and volatility of this market. Therefore, the price of stablecoins is almost "STABLE", it means you can't get any profits out of them! If the OP are asking which coin is worthy to invest right now, I would say ETH!
