1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My bitcoins dissapeared in a transaction.. any advice or knowledge? on: January 30, 2019, 03:47:51 PM
Hi Guys, IMPORTANT WARNING.... DONT USE ATOMIC WALLET... its not safe or secure

So I do have a ledger nano X because I wanted the most security so I bought it before I had any crypto. But while I have been trying to set it up I had read that the software wallet was safer than in my account on the exchange.. So I transfered to there and then was planning on moving it all to my ledger... however although the ledger supports TRX I wont allow me to make an account to hold it...

But I just checked my Atomic wallet now and 200Euros of TRX has been taken.... So now out of a total of 300 Euros worth of BTC and TRX I have nothing left.....

So.… I guess I did not move fast enough on your advise and Ive lost all.

Thanks for your help anyway guys.... But I will struggle to convince myself to re-enter this crypto market...

Ive been wanting to enter for 4 years nearly.... and when I finally do in less than a week its all gone....

I'm so disappointed

I cant view that link you posted it has an error/ unauthorised to view notice for me. I'll try to find the link another way.

but thank you I'll search for another wallet for my remaining coins...

I chose atomic wallet as I had found good things and good security said about it, perhaps I was wrong... (its happened once before hahaha)

can you perhaps suggest a wallet that is good for Eth, TRX, BTC, EOS and XRP?

to save me possibly loosing again?

Thank you for your advice so far.

I have received an email from coinbase so I will follow their advice and see if I can locate my bitcoins. I'll post back here with a result so it can hopefully help others as well.

Thanks mocacinno,

Ok so its safe to post the coinbase transaction Id here? If so I can provide it.

As far as the other issues, I had no problem with depositing ETH or TRX and they both landed in my wallet, Its just the BTC.

Atomic is a Software wallet.

My pc is brand-new with antivirus so I doubt its infected.

I withdrew my first ever purchase of bitcoin from my coinbase pro account to my atomic wallet, The atomic wallet address is correct. The coins have left my coinbase account but were never received in my Atomic wallet,

Does anyone have any idea what could have happened or where my coins are?

I emailed coinbase pro but they have not replied as yet. the transaction happened yesterday on Jan 28th.

When I click on the transaction hash, there are 2outputs created (one is my account the other is another account) In my account the correct amount is there but in brackets next to my address it says "(spent)"...… What does that mean?

I would be very appreciative of any help please.

Thanks in advance
Sii
