Hey all! Wanted to share a list of some of our favourite altcoins for 2020 with you all. There are many more cryptos that we haven't included that we are big fans of, but this is the thoughts of Amrit from Go CryptoWise. And obviously there is no definite list of best cryptos, this is a subjective list so take it for what it is. But what's your favourite altcoins? And why? I think Amrit's argument are well-based and with some good reasoning behind his picks. Do you agree? Let's not make this a post about this coin is 10x better than that coin, but a positive discussion Here's the link for the full details https://gocryptowise.com/blog/6-most-promising-altcoins-for-2020/ And here's the list (in no particular order):1. ETH 2. BNB 3. LINK 4. TOMO 5. XRP 6. MXC

If you are new to this space and you are wondering what the difference is between a coin and a token is, then you are at the right place.I myself wondered what the difference was between a token and a coin in the beginning. Especially as they were used interchangeably, and sometimes even incorrectly. In this article I will focus on explaining the difference between a coin and token, I will also give you some insight into each type of cryptocurrency. I will then give you some examples of different coins and tokens. Additionally, I will give you an overview of different types of tokens that you might have read about before, like; security token, utility token, equity tokens, etc. As cryptocurrencies are somewhat new and still very much a developing market, there are yet not always agreed on definitions of everything. That means that certain definitions could be described differently, and I want you to keep that in mind. Learn more here - https://gocryptowise.com/coin-vs-token/I hope you like it and find it helpful!

Staking cryptocurrencies have grown to become widely popular amongst cryptocurrency holders. This allows us to stake our cryptocurrencies in dedicated wallets and start earning interest. I will share a list of some of my personal favourite cryptocurrency exchanges where users like you and me can start staking our cryptocurrencies and start earning rewards. 5 cryptocurrency exchanges with staking enabledWhat is great with these cryptocurrency exchanges is that not only is it very easy to get started with staking, you can also stop staking at any time. I have only listed services with this feature available. So that you don’t need to lock your funds away for a long period of time*. Now this might be a hot topic - should I ever leave my funds on an exchange, and I think this is something you need to think about not only once but twice before committing to. Now these 5 are perhaps fairly secure, but there are risks to this. So that you know!https://gocryptowise.com/blog/cryptocurrency-exchanges-with-staking/I hope it is useful! :=)

An interesting topic that came up to discussion between me and some friends resulted in this post. And that was about which available Bitcoin and cryptocurrency wallets are open-source? As the name suggests it means that the code in which the application is built on is licensed in such a way that it is open for others to read and modify. There are some different types of licenses available which might suit you better depending on the application/software you are developing. We have named the MIT license, there are also GNU, Apache and others (see them all here). To learn even more about how open source works and the different licenses we recommend you to check out https://opensource.guide/legal/ and https://opensource.org/osd-annotated. The 9 top-rated open source Bitcoin wallets listFind the list here, I hope you like it! https://gocryptowise.com/blog/best-open-source-cryptocurrency-wallets/

There was another post on how to spend Bitcoin, so I thought I'd share a list post of where you can spend Bitcoin. Obviously this list is not exhaustive, but it gives you some fun suggestions of where you can spend your BTC for fun, for food, for hotel stays, products and services. Can you add to this list?Do you have any interesting suggestions for shops, restaurants, brands, e-commerce shops, etc that accept BTC payments? Then let us know so that we can keep building the list. Remember, it is for fun and not meant to be perfect. But I hope you enjoy it! https://gocryptowise.com/spend-bitcoin-here-list/

$15000 seem like a lot. But then I have no idea about your financial background, so it could be a small percentage of your wealth. I think it doesn't matter if you invest $1500 or $15, you always need to look into the best way of investing. And try to avoid common mistakes. I am talking about getting a secure wallet for yourself. Keeping backups of your private keys. Look into how the tax situation for Bitcoin looks like in your country. Compare exchange rates and fees for the different exchanges and brokers where you can buy Bitcoin via, etc. We have written this guide on the topic on how to invest in Bitcoin for the first time here https://gocryptowise.com/how-to-invest-in-bitcoin-the-beginner-guide/

My favourite is Binance still. I've used OKEx, Kraken, KuCoin and Bittrex mostly in the past years. And they are all fairly good. It all depends on what you want to buy, and for how much. There are lots of other new exchanges that I've never heard about when checking Coinmarketcap or similar. Mostly are full of fake volume, so rather just keep to the main ones. And not the ones from some dodgy little Island paradise where it is more likely they will scam you at any point. You can find some other exchanges here also ( https://gocryptowise.com/exchanges/).

Maybe you can post up a pricing/estimate for us members who are interested in writing articles for your website. Because most of the offers I see are either paying pennies for a dollar or they want it for free so hopefully what you are offering for us members are something a little bit bigger considering that your website won't have any content at all if you don't have any writers that will be interested in the first place. What we can offer Money of course... We really don't have a big budget but of course, we will pay you for the job. We can talk about rates but we at this time are not making lots to pay writers like CCN, Coindesk, and the others might.
And also hopefully this statement won't be on a permanent basis. If your site becomes successful and you are earning very well I think it might be time for these writers to have a pay bump especially if they take your offer at first which I think will be low based on your statement above. Hello there, We can be somewhat flexible with rates depending on experience and article. But we will have a ceiling that is not as high as with other news and blogs. And of course, when we will start earning more, grow bigger we can, of course, spend more. So, for now, we might not be able to attract the senior writers due to our lower (current) revenue. But when that changes we will change our rates accordingly. We will pay people, and it won't be pennies and I would prefer to have those discussions with each writer via PM. If the rates are not good enough then people can always say no.

I am not the best writer but I do know some people that write great crypto related articles. Would you pay them in any personal wallet addresses or in some other centralized way?
I've done both in the past. So both are ok to me

Hey everyone, We are looking for part-time writers in cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, and or blockchain space. I run this site ( http://gocryptowise.com/) that writes mostly guides and column pieces about this space. And I want to see if there are writers (seasoned or new ones just starting out) that want to write some articles from time to time on our site? What we are looking forPeople that want to write about topic in this space, we are open for good content in general. But we are not a news sites. Meaning we are not looking for writers that write about the ups and downs and crypto events on a daily basis. We are more looking for educational, technical, financial pieces. They can be in short-form or longer articles. They can be for beginners learning about how it works, or more in-depth articles really going in for a more experienced reader. What we can offerMoney of course... We really don't have a big budget but of course we will pay you for the job. We can talk about rates but we at this time are not making lots to pay writers like CCN, Coindesk, and the others might. Perhaps we can offer you a chance? A chance to get started? A chance to write what you really want to write about. Get heard, noticed, experience, etc? Next steps?Contact me via PM and let me know a bit about yourself, what you would be interested in writing about and an estimate of your rates? Thanks

Hey guys, I wanted to share with you all a curated list of some of the interesting examples of merchants, brands and companies that accept Ethereum or ETH and ERC20 tokens as a payment method. Now paying with Ether isn't perhaps as obvious as paying with Bitcoin. Since Ethereum and the Ether cryptocurrency is not instantly thought of as a P2P digital currency. And also yes there fewer merchants that accept ETH compared to BTC! But anyway we thought it might be interesting to highlight some of the example brands and merchants that do accept ETH as a payment method. If not to spread the adoption of cryptocurrencies and Ethereum, then just for fun! Find the full list of the curated Ethereum-accepting brands, shops, and merchants here - https://gocryptowise.com/blog/who-accepts-ethereum/If you have any suggestions for new additions then let us know! And a question for the Ethereum fans on here - have you spent your ETH on something? Besides paying for gas that is? It could be for a dApp, or as a payment method for a non-blockchain service or product!Cheers GC!

Hey guys - so wanted to get a sense for what people think about the future of VeChain? It sure has grabbed a lot of attention since it came onto the scene back in 2017. For a while it seemed every day was something about VeChain. Often new partnerships rumours or announcements were met with joy and hate at the same time. Fans of VeChain who went crazy trying to spread the word of the new Chinese saviour was met with mods on popular online sites trying to silence them at any given time. Fast forward a year or so and there is less news about VeChain and more focus on delivering what they sent out to do. As with the rest of the blockchain projects. It is about delivering value and showing there is something behind the promises, potentials and millions raised in ICOs.So what is the feeling on here - do we got VeChain lovers and haters on here? My own two cents: I believe that they will have an integral part in the future, if... proof of concepts can take the next step into year on year live products and services. AND if their blockchain solutions can adapt to future changes, trends and technology needs. I mean who knows exactly what the next gen blockchain will look like and work? Important part of any future blockchain is:- for it to work with other blockchains
- work with other data outside of the blockchain data
- for it to be scalable
- trusted, etc.
The jury is still out on all those parts. But right now I'm way more positive than negative about the future. The tech, people, deals and use cases are there for VeChain. Right now. Learn more about VeChain here - https://gocryptowise.com/vet-vechain-review/And a guide on how to buy VeChain here - https://gocryptowise.com/how-to-buy-vechain-vet-detailed-guide/So what's the thoughts on here for VeChain and its two cryptos - VET and VTHO?

I like KuCoin, Huobi also. Btw - you can find more here ( https://gocryptowise.com/blog/top-crypto-exchanges/). As with any exchange don't leave your funds there. It is not just worth it. Go with a reputable exchange if you can. Start with smaller test sums for deposit and withdrawals if it's a new exchange. I was lucky when I bought XRB (NANO) that I just managed to withdraw from Bitgrail before it all happened. But I was always planning to withdraw as soon as I had bought some.
