since yesterday all eu servers are reporting dead in my sgminer. I didn't change the configuration and had it working before without any problems. Example for an server configured: Pool: stratum+tcp://quark.eu.nicehash.com:3345
# resolveip x11.eu.nicehash.com IP address of x11.eu.nicehash.com is 159.8.42.123 IP address of x11.eu.nicehash.com is 37.58.117.214 # resolveip quark.eu.nicehash.com IP address of quark.eu.nicehash.com is 37.58.117.214 IP address of quark.eu.nicehash.com is 159.8.42.123 # telnet quark.eu.nicehash.com 3345 Trying 37.58.117.214... Connected to quark.eu.nicehash.com. Escape character is '^]'. Connection closed by foreign host.
Is anything wrong?

Did you ever get to the bottom of this @heretolearn ? I have the same problem but I'm running 3x Sapphire 280x. I believe the advice about VBE7 is the best - cards with older BIOS installed don't seem to have the same problems, as they run around 10C cooler than the same hardware with newer BIOS installed. Basically, any undervolt needs to come from the BIOS and not an application like trixx, or the cards throw a fit.
The other possibility is that the motherboard isn't delivering the right amount of power to the cards all of the time, MSI is not an expensive brand, they are a relatively young company in terms of their competition. I have been having the same issue as you, and my Asrock board is definitely a possible factor.
Does this ring true with anyone else lurking here?
I am. I also had an spark coming out from one GPU. The riser burned. Righ now I'm planning to change all the powered risers, since the molex once in a while disconnects by itself. I tried to direct connect he molex but the rig continues to shutdown. I believe that is the molex that isn't passing any power. About the GPU despite the spark nothing changes. Everything seems to be working ok. Running 4x Sapphire 280x @ 1090mhz engine, 1.175v bios

So from what i understand it's better to mine LTC than using this pool, right?
|
|
|
Back and forth between 110-125% the past 24 hours for LTC profitability. So even with GHash's LTC profitability going from either 125% to 200%, this pool is still not worth it with the ongoing promotion.
The shills for Ghash are so blatant and persistent, it's ridiculous. Can't they just be banned from a thread? Sick of hearing about it. Please, cry me a river. They're having a problem there orphaned blocks keep hashing at 583101 I should've listened to you guys and keep my hashes here no one cares about you bad choises. go complain to their thread and stop talking about it in clevermining thread

Just limit user ghash power. There are still pools inside!
|
|
|
Well Ghash didn't expect all the multipools to jump on their promo, so the tiered reduction was "needed" to prevent 51% attack, lol. They should have just honored their offer and not allowed new sign ups, but it seems that whales and multipools are just mining when <40GH/s and then switching back and forth for the week. I haven't mined litecoin in a long time and have nothing in my wallet, so I am going to take advantage of the 200% bonus, even if it dips to 125% every now and then.
this thread is not about that shitty Ghash, can we stop talking about that crap ? so ghash is over 4GH/s, so their promotion for 2x payouts lasted a day? Talk about gash in ghash thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=318010This thread is about clevermining pool!

You just lose the trust of the whole crypto comunity..
No they didn't. No one cares of 51% or something if the profit stayed at 2x. ;-) And just like you saw everyone flew from their usual pools to here. I just wonder why don't they limit hash/ip address if they want more users to register, since pools are pointing to ghash.io

You know what's funny? This: To prevent getting 51% of the Litecoin network, the reward multiplier will be adjusted according to the pool speed. Current multiplier: 2. Pool Speed Reward multiplier 0 – 40 GH/s x2 40 – 60 GH/s x1.25 60+ GH/s x1
They're now at 38Gh/s. Multiplier going down in 3... 2... 1... no one cares. stop hijacking clevermining thread.

I can confirm Ghash is doing a double ltc reward. In other words, you make twice the money. No brainer to switch
it looks like scam Most definitely not. I've already withdrawn LTC and can confirm I am making 200%. This is the same provider of what was once the biggest BTC mining pool. Apparently they even became big enough to almost be capable of executing a 51% attack. The community became wary and decentralized the larger pools. Regardless, they went on to provide mining services, a trading platform, and other unique stuff. Since they are coming a little late into the LTC mining game, it seems practical to release this kind of promotion for a lucrative company. They know miners will come. I wonder how much of that double profit will be eaten by fees - those guys have very aggressive fee structure I think. I am not sure what their fees typically are/were, but I know there is 0% fees on LTC mining. Not sure if that will continue after the promotion. I thought the same thing when I saw 200% LTC profitability, but was reassured after reading further and seeing 0% fee. actually, BTC community were afraid from them closing to perform 51% attack. Stop hijacking clevermining thread.

I like the idea. I don't have much so i'm going to contribute with what I have: 0.75 mhs. Is there any way to estimate profits? btc/mhs/day?

crikey profit has dropped through the floor!
Wafflepool hashrate has spiked bigtime as well. Coincidence ?

Strange, I am seeing the same thing. I have a new transaction that already has 4 confirmations, but the prior transaction - over 2 hours ago, still has zero. Unfortunately the one with zero confirmations is .11 BTC, almost
Different transactions have different priority. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees If it is on blockchain there's nothing to fear (if i'm wrong please someone correct me) :-p just sit back, relax, and wait ;-)

Is it usual for payouts to not get a single confirmation after 1 hour + ?
Yes. Relax. Or at least do some reading. If you click on TX id at the end of your user stat page you can read the following: Size 34342 (bytes) Received Time 2014-02-26 22:00:50 Estimated Confirmation Time Within 6 Blocks (Medium Priority)

Even if yes, EU server should be up tomorrow, reducing reject rates.
I'm waiting in the first row for the launch! 3......2.....1.........

Hi, as you can see gox is shutting down there i had nearly 3 BTC. If somone have a little bitcoin leftover feel free to send it to me. i really need it, because i borrowed money from my dad and if i dont pay him i have to sell my rig Golden rule: only invest what you can afford to lose. There isn't high profit without high risk.

How do I read the earnings? My total profits are 0.17xx but on my bitcoin wallet I only have 0.13xxx.

Can you bring the others servers online? Or someone fix the existing server. I'm getting poor performance, high rejects and well cgwatcher is restarting the miner as the server is not giving me enough work.
Are you able to give an eta on when the new servers will come online? Or are we to get silence from you?
Yes I'm a bit frustrated.
The servers are online. And you have a pretty bad attitude. You're free to move to somewhere else actually instead of bitching and demanding like this. Read 2 posts above yours and you see a post from the pool owner. He's working almost 24/7 to fix the pool.
